We fixed a bug in the game that stopped players from getting steam achievements. When you boot up the game, you should get achievements for everything you've previously earned.
Infinitum Pre Alpha 0.8.2: Halloween Update is here!
Patch Notes:
Added Halloween Event
-This new event is a new way for people to earn exclusive cosmetic Items, more information on how it works here.
Level 2 entity, "The Scratcher" remake:
-The previous scratcher had many bugs and issues, especially in multiplayer. The new Scratcher features a new AI, a new model, a new jumpscare animation and a complex behaviour.
-It can now hear sounds (walking, running and jumping can be heard, crouching behind him won't make him aggresive)
-The animation where the player gets killed has been updated, you can now see the Scratcher hit you which makes your mask jump off and the he bites your head two times.
-Updated the respawn screen
-Scratchers have 3 random skin variants: Normal, White and Nightmare
Added Creative mode!
-you can now travel between all levels at any given time with this gamemode. If you are playing the game using the creative gamemode, you will see a "creative" button inside your inventory. In this new UI you select any of the available levels to travel to.
Additional changes:
-Added more random tips inside the loading screens
-Stamina drains now slower
-Hunger/Thirst bars now drain slower
-Added The following Event Item: Pumpkin
Level 33 will make it's first appearance next week. This level takes a lot of resources and time to make because the more you go in one direction the more the place gets destroyed. There will be a total of 6 stages of destruction.
There will also be a new entity, and a custom random generation system where you can explore various random generated shops. This will be the best level to be added to Infinitum.
Bug fixes:
-Fixed bug where players items wouldn't save between traveling levels in multiplayer
-Fixed Scratcher bugs
-Fixed bug where players could infinitely jump-Fixed bug where player would be able to climb tables and get inside walls
-Fixed bug where players could climb another player
-Fixed bug where Items would duplicate
-Fixed bug where flashlight battery menu wouldn't close when pressing Escape button
-Fixed key button displaying as "E" instead of "F" when Interacting with Items
-Fixed black screen after respawning in multiplayer
-Fixed generation bugs where the map would display walls differently across host and clients

This is the first time ever where you can win exclusive cosmetic Items!
You can only gather points for this event in the following gamemodes: Normal and Hardcore
Pumpkins and Scarecrows are randomly spawned around every level, In order to score a point you have to pick up a pumpkin and put it on the scarecrow's head.
The top 10 people with the most points will receive an exclusive cosmetic Item.
The top 1 person will receive another extra cosmetic Item.
These cosmetic Items will never be obtainable again.
You can see the Leaderboard in the main menu.

This is the first ever event hosted by Infinitum, small bugs might occur but will be fixed shortly. Each winner will receive the cosmetic Item within 14 days after the event ended.
-We've added Rose to the intro cinematic, and added thier script in preparation for adding the voice acting files. Their animations are still being worked on, and will animate as they talk in a future patch. -We've improved the lighting during the intro cinematic, along with the overall quality. -We've added double doors to the mansion intro cinematic to reflect later changes. -We've fixed a bug that would cause the intro segment to be played twice if it was skipped -We've updated Rose artwork throughout the game to reflect her new model. -When entering the mansion Albert will now face down the hallway instead of just at the door.
Mode Menu: - You can select different modes at the same time now in the new mode menu! Mix and match the modes you like!
Hardcore Difficulty: - Added a 4 skull difficulty that is significantly harder than the other difficulty levels!
Bugfixes: - Pause screen/Death screen layout was a bit off, fixed that now - Rounded display of gold/xp in Pause/Death Screen
Balancing: - Increased hp of ghost wolves slightly - Player minions have a higher minimum speed in Speed Up Mode - Loot travels faster to the player in Speed Up Mode - Hallucinations mode gives +20% gold boost modifier - Reduced Damage of Ice Axe, Water Hurricane and Spikes - Increased Endgame Shop Prices
Fixed some Strings and typos with items, equipment, tooltips, and descriptions.
You can now transfer things with Right Click into and out of the Atlas Crucible.
Combat
You can now change equipment during combat. (Surely this won't have any bugs....)
Trinket Skills now function properly.
Mimic Rare Drop is now significantly less rare (1% -> 25%)
Fixed a bug where Skill Damage would appear where the skill is currently located and not where the target is located.
The Rat King's animation speed is now fixed.
Skills
Cleave
Scaling is now A (Previously S)
Cleave now summons a swirling vortex that deals damage to enemies inside, launching them if they survive. Enemies killed by the vortex give a Speedboost.
Thrust
Gives a Speedboost every time the spear stabs.
The Speedboost amount has been increased (+40%)
Spears attack faster (+20%)
Spears have more range (+30%)
Bash
Reverted the Knockback effect to the old method to make it not go straight horizontal and vertical so often.
Items
Deity Fruit now costs more in the shop.
Jury now has more damage.
Styx now has more damage.
Confluence Orbs now work on Rings and Necklaces.
A new item called the Catalyst has been added to the drop pool at Tier 5. The Catalyst will upgrade an item's Tier to 5.

You may have thought that our recent DLC announcement meant that we were done with patch notes. Au contraire! (That's French for "nuhuh"). In fact, the DLC will launch with our biggest patch yet, which will include fixes and suggestions that we've been working on since launch.
