Ayo Ayo hope everyone is enjoying the fact it is getting colder outside. Let's talk about saving and loading. I have it loading saves now which is nice but, I still need to have it load when you close the game not just go back to the menu.

So that being said just keep the comments rolling on and telling me if anything is broken or anything you want changed or added.

Thank you banditos. BTW when you buy the supporter pack keep the receipt because I am talking with getting really cool merch done like the old days when you pre ordered something.

Again i know asking for the supporter pack is a lot seeing the game industry state and economy. That being said I am one guy and it really helps me push this more while I work a job and train for Bodybuilding competitions.

One last thing. Controller support I have really nailed it to comfortability when you want to play with controller you just pick it up no setting to mess with. I just need to get the Crosshair to move with the stick. I am trying to make this game enjoyable to anyone and alot of people are more happy with controller. Or you just had a long day at work and just want to relax trust me i get that.

Extinction Eclipse - TuanisApps
After a couple of months of hard work porting our game to mobile, we can now announce that Extinction Eclipse is officially available for Android devices on the Google Play Store.

We put a lot of effort adapting the controls, gameplay and screens to work great on touch screens and we are very happy with the end result.







For instance, we worked a version of the map that can be expanded from the mini map and move selected ships from there, allowing you, the player, to control your fleet easily.



And of course, we adapted the tutorial for this touch controls version.

The game is free to download, and you can play the first 2 missions for free. If you wish to unlock the full game, there is a single IAP for $2.99. The game has no ads.

New Feature: Item Quality

This patch adds Item Quality to the game. Item Quality does three things currently:
  • Increases the chance of finding Unique items
  • Increases the chance that an item will spawn with more modifiers
  • Increases the chance of a modifier being of a higher tier, assuming its tier is below the maximum tier for that item level

Item Quality has replaced most sources of Item Quantity. Common feedback was that there were way too many items dropping lategame which were difficult to keep track of. This is a minor step in the direction of improving that.

I'll continue to make more changes to the item system in the coming weeks, but I wanted to roll out this quickly in order to see what the impact will be.

Crafting Improvements

I'm continuing to iterate on crafting in order to make it a fun experience and really help items shine as interesting. Prior to this update the Chaos Reset was too common and powerful, and there weren't enough fun options ingame when the Crafter was encountered.

  • Reset Chaos has been replaced with Halve Chaos, and its rarity has been increased
  • Added a variety of crafting options related to item modifier types. These are the same types you can sort by in the inventory. Enjoy finding them and exploring what they can do!

Other Changes and Fixes

  • Blood Enjoyer no longer scales its life gained on hit based on the damage you deal. It is now exclusively based on your regen rate
  • Highlight the Quest Board, as most players didn't even realize it existed!
  • Experience from Reward Chests no longer scales with % increased Experience Earned
  • The Elemental Aura skill was supplying twice as many resists as it claimed to in the tooltip. It now properly supplies 5% per point invested
  • Greatly reduced memory fragmentation caused by quests
  • Forced the garbage collector to sweep up some areas of the heap after level generation in order to improve performance
  • Reduced the performance impact of various combat calculations substantially
  • Improved the performance of the modifiers granted by Weather effects
  • Fixed a bug where Increased Critical Strikes was not displaying the previous Critical Hit Damage scale in the upgrade preview
  • Fixed an issue where the boss icon in the event display was offset weirdly on some resolutions
  • Fixed a bug where Whirlwind and Shockwave ingame skills could override each other and cause weird things to happen with your damage
  • Fixed a bug which would cause the player skill cache to not update properly when selecting skills on the tree or ingame on runs. This would cause abilities to briefly not scale when upgrades were first picked, and would lead to stats on the Skill Tree not immediately reflecting your changes

New Features / Bug Fixes
-Added loading screen when starting the game
-Reduced micro stutters when changing camera angle
-We've updated the doors to have texture instead of plain shading
-We've reworked all the static camera angles for better viewing and presentation, along with making direction easier
-We've fixed issues with the camersa making it more responsive. It may however still glitch from time to time as we perfect it.
-We've added the living quarters to the mansion (big double doors) The key has also been moved tothe lounge that opens this door.
-Upstairs has been altered as it was highly bugged before
-Improved collisions throughout.
-We've drastically improved the lighting and refractions in the game
-We've added the ability to go outside to the grounds and grab the shotgun from outside the shed.
-We've updated the map graphic. It's still not functional but this is being worked on.
-We've randomised the enemy health to give more variance. Some will also be stronger than others.
-You will notice the size of the game files has doubled, this is because we've added the Grounds and the other section of the mansion. As the game develops, it may fluctuate in size until all assets are finalized.
-We've added shotgun ammo pickups throughout.
-Some item locations have moved to be in better view of ther camera.
-Fixed an issue which made it impossible to skip the intro. Simply hit enter or south button when it appears if you wish to skip it.
-Added more monsters throughout the residents section as this would be the part of the game where you need to rescue Rose

Known Isssues in this release
-The shed currently has no collision
-It may be nessecary to keep walking in direction if you leave the camera to return to the next angle, we are working on this
-You may experience stuttering on loading larger rooms when opening doors
-Monster and player sound effects are still bugged and will not play
Savant - Ascent REMIX - DPad
Spooky week is right around the corner! There's several new additions to Survival Mode this week, as well as balances & fixes to the game. Here's a full list of changes:

Spooky Survival:
+ Scarecrow King mini-boss event has been added to Survival Mode! Take him on in the Daily or Weekly challenge! Watch our for those pesky kiddie-ghosts!

+ Goat Rain enemy event has been added to Survival Mode! Get your umbrella (or just blast them away with your Power Shots!)

+ Several new Chain-A-Rang waves to keep you on your toes! Deflect those Rotating Sawblades back onto the foes for a Trick-Shot, which awards massive bonus points!



Minor Fixes:
+ Reduced screen-shake on shooting regular missiles.
+ Leaderboards now include Friend scores, as well as Global scores.
+ Bombs in the Samurai fight now explode adjacent bombs during his 2nd phase.

We've teased it before on our Discord, but here it finally is: The Movement 2.0 update!
Also, as a bonus, another highly requested feature: Cross Region play!

Features
New Mechanic: Super Jump

  • Pressing Space after Gear Dodging will activate the Super Jump!
  • Enables a whole new layer of Movement Tech in the game!
New Mechanic: Ledge Climb

  • While jumping towards a ledge or when falling near it, your character will automatically climb up!
  • You're now able to reach heights you weren't able to before, and movement through the map feels much more fluid!
Improved Mechanic: Gear Dodge
  • Dodging near Cliffs won't pull you down anymore, it'll pull you forward instead!
  • Improved Dodging upwards while on a Cliff!
New Feature: Cross Region Play
  • You're now able to play with anyone, anywhere in the world! (Just beware of your ping!)

  • Significant performance improvements of our AI Pathfinding

Director's Commentary
We're finally able to release this one! We've been working on this for a while, our animator had a lot of fun doing some new parkour movements. It was super fun watching the team play with the Lege Climb for the first time, once they experimented it they never wanted to play the game without it again 🤣

The Super Jump is a mechanic born out of a byproduct of our Dodge, where some players were able to do a super jump when precisely timing the jump after dodging, so we were like "why not turn this into and ACTUAL mechanic?" and we did! And that's because you guys loved it so much :)
