Dear Queens and Kings, This week's update provides a couple of bug fixes and quality of life improvements we wanted to roll out before focusing on delivering more content. Among many other things we’ve implemented a much requested feature: You can now select all units belonging to a building by holding the unit command button next to it. This makes it a lot easier to sort the different parts of your army, especially if they’re all mixed up after a hard night of fighting. You can find the detailed patch notes at the bottom of this post.
Thank you so much for thoroughly stress-testing the new map Uferwind we released with the last update. We’re so happy about the warm reception and appreciate the comprehensive feedback you shared with us!
Along with that also a big thanks to everyone who participated in the community survey. We understand a lot better which parts of Thronefall you enjoy and which parts still need some love. It will be an invaluable resource for future design decisions. We’re already working on some exciting new things and can’t wait to share them with you!

New Features:You can quick-select units directly at their corresponding barracks. This allows you to separate and manage your units more easily.
Lightning Staff Bug Fixes:- The lightning staff active ability damage was not affected by any upgrades or perks except for the blacksmith upgrades. This bug should be fixed now. Castle center upgrades and perks should affect it correctly now. (Big ooopsie!!)
- The lightning staff no longer deals double damage to its primary attack target (this bug fix is a small nerf, a lucky coincidence considering the buff above)
Light Spear Bug Fixes:- Assassin’s Training upgrade cooldown reduction is actually applied to this weapon now (Oops.)
More Bug Fixes:- Big harbors now adjust their income correctly when upgrading them immediately
- Fixed some navigation problems for flying units on Uferwind
- Archery range shows its hp bar when damaged
- Fixed a bug for the Big Harbors perk that only increased the boat and income capacity by one instead of the promised two. This bug fix is a buff to an already strong perk so the upgrade cost of big harbors is increased by +3 when playing with this perk to compensate for this change. (The initial build cost remains unaffected.)
- Bow and Dagger can no longer stab into the air
- Golem splash damage can no longer damage air units
- Upgrading destroyed buildings respawns them now (when playing with the God of Destruction mutator)
- Builder’s Guild can no longer upgrade the blacksmith, which caused a bunch of spinoff bugs that should all be fixed as well now.
- The blacksmith does not make any upgrade progress when destroyed during the night
- Firewing no longer gets unnecessarily close to enemies because its attack range has been reduced to match how close it gets to enemies. In return that distance has been increased by a small amount.
- Unit anchor circles are more visible on Frostsee
- Units should no longer be able go get stuck outside of the level boundaries (for real this time)
- Fixed some minor issues on Uferwind. One of the boats is no longer positioned inside of the dock. The houses in the middle of the map are slightly more separated to prevent pathfinding issues for units.
- Treasure Hunter Perk shows the correct amount of gold in the tooltips
- Fixed a bug where the anti-air telescope perk caused the boss fight on Frostsee to crash and softlock the game
- Elite Warriors perk no longer gives the barracks an abnormal amount of health
- Fixed a problem with Builder’s Guild that allowed you to upgrade buildings during the night.
- Adjusted hitbox of the gold mine to make it less likely to be attacked from a different height level (mainly relevant for one specific spot on Durststein).
The server maintenance has now been completed, and you can log in to the game normally. Thank you for your patience.

Servers’ routine maintenance.
Bingo Ticket Coupons can be grind/loot by killing monsters.
Exchange the Bingo Ticket Coupons for Bingo Ticket to NPC "Limited Time Merchant.
Bingo Card is located at Main Menu
Bingo Board is in the form of 5*5
Use the Bingo Tickets to randomly activate the numbers in the Bingo Board to fulfill it
If you get a duplicate number, the new number will overwrite the original number and consume one Bingo Ticket.
When you complete any row of numbers in the horizontal, vertical and diagonal lines, you will complete a Bingo line, and the more lines you complete, the better the rewards you can receive
Rewards are divided into 5 stages: Stage 1: 1-2 Bingo Lines Stage 2: 3-4 Bingo Lines Stage 3: 5-7 Bingo Lines Stage 4: 8-11 Bingo Lines Stage 5: 12 Bingo Lines which corresponds to different Bingo Stage Reward Boxes
You can only get the Bingo Rewards Box for the corresponding stage.
You can choose to fill up the Bingo Board or complete any number of Bingo lines to exchange the rewards; after receiving the rewards, the Bingo Board will be refreshed and reset
Note: If you are unable to refresh the Bingo Board or get a digital exception message, please sync the data and try again.

Hope you had a lovely summer. We're back with a preview of the next Mask of the Rose update, just for you.
Laburnum is going to focus on the Storycrafting element of Mask of the Rose. It will also introduce more autosave points, and all the bugfixes we can squeeze in.
Our overall aim with this update is to reduce the cognitive overhead involved in crafting murder-related stories. We’re making changes to help clarify what murderboard choices actually matter, and you should feel like you have more understanding of and agency over the trial itself.
We've made the initial Ministerial Exposé assignment that Archie gives you after the tutorial more linear. The idea is that it guides you, step by step, through the process of first forming a question (a hypothesis) on the board and how this opens up new options to explore on the map, which lets you unlock new tokens before being able to form solutions (a theory) which can be handed in.
We’ve made the murderboard smaller (every slot on it now potentially really affects the trial outcome). This will only impact murder-related stories; stories about rats, revolution, romance, etc will have the same number of slots as they currently have.
We’ve also made both the generated text and Harjit's response much clearer about what you've generated, whether it's a hypothesis or a final theory, and what it's likely to achieve.
Harjit will now expressly warn you if you've formed an "incorrect" murder theory, something that's plausible but hard to prove, and which will therefore mean the trial is likely to go sideways.
You now can't invent explanations that are too fundamentally incoherent (like that Griz took the candles in to David, because everyone knows she didn't).
It'll be harder to get into a bad situation in the trial unless you do it on purpose, but also easier to get out of said situation using One Weird Trick (can’t wait for you to discover this one, hahahah).
We hope this makes the whole experience simpler, the categories of murderboard outcome easier to understand, and the generated text more consistently satisfying (because it's less likely to be full-on bonkers).
Opting in to the Laburnum beta

Instructions for accessing the beta
From Steam, install Mask of the Rose and open the menu on Mask of the Rose from your games library.
Select “Properties” Select “Betas”
Enter the access code “DarkdropCoffee” under “Private Betas”. From Beta Participation, select “laburnum_beta” from the drop down. That’s it - Steam will automatically update.
The Beta test is only accessible on Steam, but the patch will be available on all platforms.
For avoidance of doubt, the build numbers you're looking for are as follows: Windows 1.4.903 Linux 1.4.904 OSX 1.4.119
Starting a New Save
While existing save files will work with this patch, we’d like to request that you start a new save.

Please use the in-game bug reporter to submit all feedback. Select the category that closest matches your feedback. Normally this would just be used for bugs, but please use this method for everything to do with the beta.

There are two elements of Storycrafting that we'd like your thoughts on:
The “Ministerial Exposés” assignment from Archie has been streamlined. We’re interested in learning if this is a clearer and more comprehensible way of introducing the storycrafting mechanic.
Do you feel like you understand what to do and where to go next?
Do you feel concepts like the difference between hypotheticals (questions) and conclusions (solutions) are clear?
The “Mystery Solutions” (murder case) assignment that Harjit gives you has been simplified.
Is it easier to form questions and theories?
Do you feel like you know what to do and where to go for answers?
Do you feel able to form solutions and present them to Harjit?
And we'd like to hear about any bugs, of course.
How long should you play?
Any amount of time is appreciated, but to test the major changes introduced here, we ask you to play up to Yule and experiment with the revised “Mystery Solutions” storycrafting assignment.
Saving
If you’ve already got three saves in progress already, we suggest you rename one of the existing save files temporarily, and start a new save file. You can then delete the new save file when you are done, and set the name of the save you wished to retain back to the previous name. Where to find your saves.
New saves created in the beta branch will not be backwards compatible - if you switch to the standard branch they will not work. They will carry forward, however, and be compatible with the release version of the patch.
Note: The final version of this patch will increase the frequency of autosaving, but this is not in the beta version.

G'day all! You may have noticed Blub Emporium has been enjoying a comfortable rest as far as updates go, why is this? Well as you may know I am one man, so I can only do so much at once. I have been hard at work on fleshing out another project which started its life around the same time as Blub Emporium did originally.
- What's happening with Blub Emporium? Blub Emporium is in a great state, but I'm still not officially done with it. I absolutely plan to do more updates for it, adding more items and quality of life features! I have to balance my attention between BE and my other projects, so I can't release updates as fast, but I will always strive to keep them to my standard of quality.
- New game? Tell us more! The new game in question is "Huecube", it's a puzzle platformer with super smooth and satisfying movement featuring the abilities to manipulate time (having a recording of your past self help you solve fantastic puzzles, or vice versa) and colour shift (adding and subtracting colours to your cube to help clear gaps or phase through walls). The game has a fully integrated and extensive level editor tool to allow players to create their own Huecube levels of any style, be it a parkour/obstacle course, a head-scratching puzzle, or a creative contraption using the in-depth wiring system and the many ways players can interact with them. Levels can be submitted to the Steam workshop to be played by other players!
To sum up, Blub Emporium will see more updates, and a brand new game solo developed by myself once again is up on Steam, and I implore you to go give the page a look, and maybe even add it to your Steam wishlist (this helps me out a tonne!).
