New Features and Improvements

Leaderboards Are Here
Player Ranks are on the way, but in the mean time we are bringing leaderboards to Glassbreakers! You can now see how you stack up against other players. To access the Leaderboard, open the System Menu while in the Attic.


Smarter AI
In this update, Skynet is taking over! One of the most requested features is more engaging matches with our AI. While we still have a lot of work to do, our first improvements are going into this update. The AI will now have profiles: for newer players, the starting AI will not get harder, while for more advanced players, the AI should no longer allow you to simply walk right into their base and get their Glass.
Along with this change, we have reduced the time it takes for idle Champions to attack nearby enemy targets. Overall we have found this makes the game feel smoother in several areas.
Quests
In their current state, quests can feel a little confusing. We wanted to have a concept for “normal” and “hard” quests but this is not coming across as well as we hoped. For now, we are going to pare down the quests to provide more consistency. Look for more, exciting quests being implemented in the future!

Bug Fixes
  • Fixed an issue where Default Dye was not being applied properly in the Lobby.

Halloween 2023 Condo Contest



Hey everyone!

It's time for the Halloween 2023 Condo Contest!

Submit something that fits the Halloween spirit. It can be fun, spooky, eerie, or whatever you want, so long as it follows the rules!

Like last month's contest, there is no restriction on when the Condo was made as long as it hasn't been submitted before.

Halloween 2023 Events!



Last week, we released the Halloween 2023 events to the public. Enjoy the Halloween festivities and fun as well as some new items that can be found at the Ghoulcery at the center fountain and the long-awaited Haunted Catsack!

Paper Shakespeare: Cthulhu Coriolanus - Duck Whitman

Due to increased stress due to family medical issues and my own medical issues, Dinosaur Cousin Squad has been delayed until sometime next year. We're fast tracking a game that we intended to work on for next Halloween in order to fill its place, as well as working on the DLC sequels that we were going to do for early next year.

DCS could potentially be done by the rest of the team, but because it is the first game of ours in a new genre and engine, plus since I originally started making it as a Christmas present for my younger cousins, I'm trying to be as hands-on as I possibly can be. That just is not possible given my current stress levels from real life currently coming at me from all sides.

I promised them this game two Christmas Day's ago. Ugh. Well, it's going to be great when it comes out. This also gives us the chance to give the game a decent lead-in with a Coming Soon page, rather than just putting one up a few weeks before launch during the busiest time of the year.

So there's the trick. The treats are coming soon.
