What's new?

Multiplayer Menu

There is a new menu where you can find Player Servers & Dedicated Servers (soon).
When creating a server, you can also protect it with a password.

Multiplayer game features

It really took long to bring the game to the state where all single player mechanics are working in the multiplayer game.

Here are features which got implemented:
  • In game chat
  • Blueprint Designer
  • Vehicles Designer
  • Stargate construction
  • Parallel universes
  • Cosmic events (ex. black holes)
  • Screen player markers have nicknames, so you know where your friends are
  • Independent chunk creation, so each player can explore and discover new planets.
    Depending on how far away the generated planet is, it will appear on the map. All planets modified by other players will also appear.
  • Asteroids for every player - when generating asteroids, the location of each player is checked, so each player has asteroids around him
  • Players assigned to their Steam accounts - each player is recognized by its unique Steam ID, so each time you re-join the game, your progress will be automatically restored.
  • Each player is visible on the map
  • Clients can now join mid-game and progress is synchronized.

Dedicated Servers


It's already confirmed that dedicated servers by GPortal will be enabled soon!
They are making a huge difference when it comes to game synchronization and additional features like joining during the session.

Crocotile 3D - Ninja Sprout

  • Added: Scale mode for selected UVs when holding Shift+Alt. You can now scale UVs via the mouse. Scaling will be relative to the crosshair position.
  • Added: "Pack" action in UVs panel to organize the selected uvs within the tileset bounds. Connected UVs will stay grouped together. Right-click to open context-menu and choose Transform > Pack.
  • Added: Keybindings for selecting a specific tab in the sidepanel ("Open Next Panel", "Open Previous Panel", "Open Tileset Panel", "Open UVs Panel", "Open Painting Panel", "Open Transform Panel", "Open Scene Panel"). You can bind a key for these in the Edit > Buttons > General section.
  • Improved: Subdivide panel inputs can be adjusted with mousewheel/arrow keys.
  • Fixed: Importing .obj models without an .mtl file would fail.
  • Fixed: When "Deselect when single clicking" is enabled, the Gizmo wouldn't always reposition itself.
  • Fixed: "Properties" section in the Transform panel wouldn't apply position or rotation to objects. This was caused by a recent change, but is fixed now.
  • NW.js: Updated the nwjs to version 80, except for the builds marked with "_old" suffix and also the arm version.

Stardander Revenant - David Maletz
We've made a lot of improvements and changes to Stardander School for Witches, and with the recent launch, I decided to copy those over to Stardander Revenant!



This includes lots of UI and usability improvements, lots of additional options (like auto advance, text speed and controls), and a complete overhaul of the battle UI, including quick casting spells, and added animations to potions and enemies.



While this update doesn't add any additional content (I feel the story is complete as is), it does make Stardander Revenant much better to play, especially if you're used to the improvements in Stardander School for Witches.

I hope you enjoy these improvements, and will give Stardander School for Witches a look if you haven't yet!
