Did I said that I wouldn't add new content to the level editor? Well yes but actually I found out that I can add new objects to the level editor without older levels to not be updated with newer objects!!!

Here's a list of the new things that will come out so far:

  • New Level Editor item: Arrow that is used to tell the player where to go or where something is
  • New Level Editor item: Wood block, the one in level 8 and 9 that breaks from the middle
  • New Level Editor item: Small group of knifes from the level 4, 8 and 9 that fall very fast
  • New Level Editor item: Huge group of knifes from the level 5 and 7 that fall very slowly
  • New Level Editor adjustement: When saving a loaded level, it's name will be pre-filled

This list can change at any moment and idk when the update will come out so don't get too hype.
Death or Glory - John - Death or Glory
Death or Glory officially goes into Early Access next Tuesday, 17.10.23! Become the champion of Corum by mastering the five classes and craft your deck to defeat challengers from across the land. It has been a tough but fulfilling 3 years of development where we had gruesome deadlines, shifts in design and twists in direction. But all of this comes together for a new beginning starting on the 17th when Death or Glory is officially live! This is just the start of our adventure as we have many updates and new content planned for the coming months and years with the first coming in November.

Hi Everyone,
We are ready with a new update with lots of new unique items making the game so much more rewarding. These are powerful items that can usually be found after the boss fights. Unique rings can also be found while fishing. A few of them are rewards at the Artisan's treasure vault. Save files are compatible with this update, but in order to see the new items in the treasure vault, starting a new game is required.

Some of these items have interesting effects like starting/stopping rain or giving the hero more chance to find a treasure while fishing. Some rings can even amplify talent stone damages.

ADDITIONS:
  • 48 new unique items added:
    8 rings
    11 amulets
    12 shortswords
    5 greatswords
    6 warhammers
    6 staves
  • A new weapon trait, "Undead Bane" added. Now all Silver weapons have this trait and they inflict 25% more damage to undeads.
  • "Scent of Beast" curse added. This may happen when the hero shapeshifts to bear or bat. Speechcraft decreases but intimidation increases. Hero also can not enter towns easily.
  • Remove Curse potion added.


CHANGES
  • Every dungeon's last room chest contains a unique item.
  • Iron chests have 25% chance to contain a unique item.
  • Sword in the stone incident drops a unique sword. There are more ghosts that protect sword in the stone.
  • Tomb at the mausoleum always has a unique item. There are more monsters that protect the tomb.
  • Trees drop loot bags. They used to drop only wood, but now drop different materials.
  • Changed some of the drop rates of certain ingredients so that the hero can make health and stamina potions more easily.
  • "Nigthmares" is a curse instead of a "Sanity loss".
  • Undeads are now immune to drain life.
  • There are crystals at the last room of lava dungeon for more loot.
  • Hyena encounters are more crowded now.
  • Improved the roll over card on melee damage and ranged damage on the character sheet. Now you can read fire, ice, poison, lightning and bleed damage on the cards.

The trial version will be closed before the game is released

Mid October Developement update!
As we announced recently Chief has been hard at work on Taming - among other areas of development and has finished the coding regarding Taming. So successful is his work that he’s managed to add a new creature.

Proudly introducing the Grimscaler.
"This creature is said to have very thick scaly skin akin to Armor. Not much has been recorded about these ferocious beasts as not many have managed to get close enough to observe and survive to tell the tale! In a constant state of anger, the Grimscaler is sure to be a tough foe turn invaluable tame for those skilled enough"

Tame Levels
We’ve added different tiers of smoke grenades used for taming and they will affect different creatures according to their level/strength.
We’ve broken them down into the following classes;
  • Small
  • Medium
  • Big
  • Boss
Creature Levels
We’ve made some major changes to the creature levelling system. We’ve expanded the levels from 5 to 15. Not only will this allow for balancing as we add more and more creatures, but it will also slightly add to the immersion or realism.

With only 5 levels we felt that the upgrades would have to be minor, or the changes would need to be drastic. After all you don’t grow a huge bicep just because you completed your first set.

We want your maximum levelled tames to be significantly stronger than the wild counterpart, but we want this to be achieved gradually or naturally if you would. We feel that our level system has reached that balance.

Scaling
I’m not talking about scaly skin like the Grimscaler this time, instead it’s just a small note to say we’ve increased the Werewolf’s size by 25%. It’s not a massive change or has any impact in game but we do feel that at this new revised size, the Werewolf better fits its formidable reputation.

Missions and Dynamic Map
We’ve decided to write a new story for creatures inc. Although much of the game and the lore will remain the same, we have decided on a much more detailed, intricate and in-depth story to help us fulfil the experience we want our players to have.

With the new storyline and condition-based quest system players can expect the game world around them to change and react with the players progression in the story.

Although this is an ongoing task, we are confident that our story so far is filled with mystery, deep lore and logical progression. This is our first time attempting such a complex system and expect this to take a significant amount of time.

Weapons
Chief has created a new weapon and has created the animations and sound effects necessary to go with it.



Currently the Weapon has no name, and we’d really like the community to offer some suggestions.

I added the voice chat but be aware that this has to be tested and it is possible that it will may not work properly.

- Fixed: When using a glider and stop using it above the ground right before you would land the character dies. Now the falling damage is calculated from the point you unequip the glider
- Fixed: Using the phalanx Talent on a mount will cause a throw of the spear instead of hitting with it
- Fixed: It is possible to put small magic types into the hotbar even if the battlemage talent is not unlocked
- Fixed: The ring of illumination will be toggled off when the character gets damage
