How much will Space Salvage cost?
We know many of you have been keen to know how Space Salvage will be priced, and we can finally announce what this is going to be. Space Salvage will retail at 24.99 USD, on both the Meta Quest Store and on Steam. Very soon we will be able to announce the release date for the game, so keep an eye out for that!

Recent changes to how the game handles microphones did not have the desired effects and caused further issues. The game now reverts to the microphone option as set by the operating system
Come by and hang with Christopher Atallah as he takes on the Hockey Godz in ODR Hockey Heroes! Before hitting the road, he's going to have to make the team. In this stream Chris will be playing through the unique rpg-style narrative-drive story mode prologue and will play a best-of-7 series against some scrubs.

Today we’re sharing the first details of our roadmap for the upcoming months and how we plan to keep improving the game, and we’ll go into detail on some of these upcoming features.
Update 1.1
The next update is rapidly approaching and expected to go live on October 25th! It will contain the much anticipated Asteroid Impact disaster, as well as a rework to the Crisis system and many improvements to the balance. In the meanwhile, you can still help us improve the new disaster by joining our weekly community streams (each Friday at 8PM CEST / 2PM EST) and sharing your feedback!
Roadmap
After update 1.1 we plan to implement the most-requested features by the community and continue adding more content. Please note that this roadmap is still subject to change, as we’re constantly gathering more feedback from players and reassessing our priorities accordingly.
Clarifying these upcoming features and changes, we received lots of requests to add additional languages to the game. As our game contains over 200,000 words, it is simply too expensive for a small Indie studio like ours to translate the game in the traditional manner. To accommodate non-English speaking players however, we have set up a system using AI-translations to reach an acceptable quality. We then want to iteratively improve these translations over time, assisted by community members who have already offered their support with translations. More on this later!
The Solar Flare will be the next big disaster added to the game after the Asteroid. In this disaster, players will face a devastating coronal mass ejection, destroying energy grids, crashing satellites, and disrupting supply lines to plunge humanity into a new dark age.
Another much requested feature is the ability to adjust game speeds. To achieve this, we are (re)introducing customizable turn timers where players need to make a decision before the timer runs out. We are also giving players the option to adjust animation speeds, e.g. how long news items stay on-screen or how long Live Feed notifications stay centre screen before floating to the top right.
The new “Policy” feature will allow Humanity players to set certain policies to affect the planet’s Ecosystems and Pollution. This allows them to work against Earth more at the cost of their own Score, or improve their score at the expense of Humanity, as well as giving players a little more to do during other players’ turns.
Finally the Twitch integration will give streamers the option to let their chat take over the Public role. Viewers will be able to vote on options through polls, to decide whether they want to team up with the streamer and other players, or work against them. This feature was much-requested by streamers, so we hope this will add a whole new dynamic to streaming Project Planet!

Introducing the Altar System for Skipping Nights: -You can now safely skip the night by offering 30 Faded Gems obtained through farming or monster hunting. -Altars are scattered throughout the map and will ignite with a sound effect when approached by a player. -Offering 30 Faded Gems to the Altar will prevent monsters from spawning during that night, and the ---Altar will be engulfed in blue flames. -Once the night is safe, you can use the bed to pass the night.
Added Night-Skipping Feature to Beds: -If the current night is peaceful, you can press the 'Z' key to skip the night via the Altar. -Pressing 'Z' will send all players into sleep mode, allowing you to skip the current night and quickly move to the morning. -This feature is unavailable in the morning.
Increased the Utility of Faded Gems:
-Faded Gems are now important items in our game. -They contain a substantial amount of energy and can be used as ingredients for crafting bombs or as fuel. -They can also be used to craft health-restoring potions. -The utility of Faded Gems will continue to expand.
Added Grenade (Bomb) Items: -You can initially obtain 3 grenades on the beach.
Item grades have been introduced: -Ranging from D to S grades. -D-grade items are relatively easy to obtain through farming. -C-grade items are moderately rare. -B-grade items are very rare. -A-grade items cannot be obtained through farming. -S-grade items are crafted using ancient artifacts and will be limited within the world.
Equipment item balance has been adjusted. -We are planning to create a new damage formula and update the existing damage formula in the future.
Adjusted the balance of Night Waves. -More adjustments will be made in the future.
Integrated various functions to suit the new UI: -Updated the materials you own in the crafting screen. -Ability to add items to the crafting queue when crafting. -Added items to the root container upon completion of crafting.
Improved functionality for campfires, containers, workbenches, and more.
Implemented server HUD: -Now you can press the 'Tab' key to see who is currently on the server. Expanded the tutorial messages.
