It's been a year since Heat and Run was released in early access!
Four major updates have been implemented since its release, and a fifth one is coming in November: a new character that some of you may have encountered during the alpha!
Despite the low number of players logging in, we continue to update the game for several reasons, but we'll have to slow down the pace soon. The studio currently consists of just two people, and we can't sustain ourselves solely from Heat and Run's revenue.
We've been working for other companies for the past few months and are currently preparing a second production. All we can tell you for now is that it will be a solo 3D game.
The updates in 2024 may be less frequent, but we'll always strive to add more content!
Keep yourself informed and discuss with us our discord.
We hope you will have fun playing! Damnatio Games.
Doozie's damage has been increased, Yiiiiii's damage has been increased, the damage of the radish has been adjusted, the damage growth of all Boons has been changed, and the mechanism of Greatos has been modified!
The charging attack of the gun has been strengthened!
Morale is now capped at level 20.
Damage numbers have been enlarged (you can adjust this in the settings panel).
Some other minor tweaks and adjustments have been made. Can't remember all of them, but they're not worth mentioning. Anyway, it's more fun now! Good!
Bug Fixes:
Sometimes only two cards appear in the item room.
Discarding Boons before entering the Great Tree room might result in no options in the Great Tree room.

Remember that it is still just a demo, so while you can get a nice sense of how the game plays and the overall features are more or less all shown in the demo, a lot of depth and replayability value will be saved for the actual release.
I do hope that you enjoy the demo - and please leave any and all feedback or bug reports in the a thread in the community or in the discord server: https://discord.gg/BuzeGND878 .
UI/UX Overhaul
The major new feature is the UI/UX overhaul. The UI now matches the graphical style of the game alot better, plus it is now easier to navigate the inventory system, which is now up to par with other games in the genre.
The inventory space has been increased as well, so you don't need to throw items out of it all the time.
After 5 days of publishing the demo of Love n Life: Lucky Teacher, we have received a tremendous amount of invaluable feedback from many of you. We want to express our heartfelt gratitude to the community for your continuous support and your desire to see our game grow and improve even further. ❤️
Based on your feedback, we will be releasing an updated demo version 0.0.2 on October 14th at 5 AM Pacific. We also continue to welcome further feedback and provide ongoing updates with new patches.
Here are the details of Patch Note 0.0.2:
Bug fixes:
Fixed the bug that caused the game to get stuck at tutorials.
Fixed the Chinese language in the tutorial (small texts, missing texts, etc.).
Fixed the issue where sound and music settings were not saved after adjustments.
Improvements:
Added Gym workout activities at the Fitness center to increase the energy cap.
Items and gifts will now appear in the player's and girls' rooms (if they like particular decorations). Please note that the effects of decorations are not yet active. We will continue to update in future updates.
Added Displayed information about Money, Energy, Mood, etc., after each activity.
Don’t delay! The survey will only be available for completion until October 15, at 10 AM Pacific.
We will thoroughly review all of your feedback and will announce the 10 winners on the nearest day. Please stay tuned, and thank you for your patience.
It's been a long road Getting from there to here It's been a long time But my time is finally near And I can feel the change in the wind right now Nothing's in my way And they're not gonna hold me down no more No, they're not gonna hold me down
Yesterday was launch day for Star Trek: Infinite, and like with most launches, fires had to be put out and hotfixes needed to be pushed.
We still are fighting fires though, antivirus blocking our game's ability to write settings files, DLC not being recognized, and weird one-off issues that we are still working on reproducing and fixing. We are working through these as I write this log, and that is why this is a bit short.
We are also starting to see all our reviews come in, and they are hitting around where we expected it to go.
Polygon.com - Star Trek: Infinite leans in to the best of Trek Star Trek: Infinite is a 4X grand strategy game that shares a lot of qualities with a good Star Trek episode: It’s cerebral, accessible, occasionally a little clumsy, and overall a good time.
PCgamer.com - It's Stellaris, but not as we know it. I ask myself "do I still want to play this game some more, now that I'm not being paid?" and the answer here is yes.
Rock Paper Shotgun - Not exactly a strategy pioneer, but still an enjoyable journey It's a combination of engaging and undemanding that grand strategy seldom manages, and has enough Trek stuff to work for someone who's seen most of the serieseses but only once, and can only sometimes tell if something's a reference to an episode or wholly new
Trek Central - Trek Gaming Is Back! Star Trek: Infinite is the perfect game for those looking to lead their own version of the Federation, Klingons, Romulans or even the Cardassians.
Stevivor.com - Where no one has gone before Star Trek Infinite is a glorious strategy game just dripping in canon and nostalgia. I love it sometimes — and hate it in others — but I’ll be damned if it hasn’t taken up my thoughts during most waking moments as I sit pondering how to better deal with the Nausicaans, integrate Bajor or fight the Borg.
Godisageek.com - Huge, complex, and a Trekkie’s dream The thing is though, it’s all so incredibly Star Trek. That’s obvious, yes, but more than any other Star Trek game I’ve played, Infinite leans totally and completely into the brand.
Now, I'll head back to putting out those fires, and I'll see you all next week.

Up next: Oh, what's this? New Ferengi buildings… shiny. And a Dyson Sphere, Oh Myyy…
This is a slightly agressive patch improving a few areas according to your feedback. We hope you enjoy all the changes!
- Increased player speed (both running and pushing objects) around 20%. - Increased reaction speed to controls. - Now you can brake during jump. - Now when you die in any combat the room restarts with all the objects as you left them. When choosing "restart checkpoint", the room is fully restarted. - Now the magical barriers block enemy bullets. - Buffed player blows: they have more range and they always interrupt the attacks of the basic enemies. - Remapped several rooms at the start of the game, River Island, Misty Forest, Dock. - Tuned several areas reducing large spaces and removing invisible walls. - Added painterly visual effects to the pause menu and fade-outs. - Fixed crash when you have certain combination of paintings in the inventory. - Multiple minor fixes.
