Eleanor 3 - leonizer
We just want to let you know that Eleanor is still so close to our hearts and we're developing it's continuation for over a year now. The plan are very ambitious and we hope to deliver one of a kind experience once more.

BACKGROUND STORY
Eleanor felt the suffocating weight of her past pressed down on her shoulders, and she sunk further into her chair as she begged Drake to leave this place to start fresh in Florida. When she told him about Kevin and how he had been using her for months, Drake's expression shifted from shock to profound sadness. His hands trembled as he thought about possibly breaking up their marriage. But in the end, Drake couldn't bear the idea of not having Eleanor, and he chose to forgive her.

Eleanor's addiction to the thrill of meaningless sex had pushed her husband, Drake, to a breaking point. In a desperate attempt to save their marriage, they agreed to a rather unconventional solution - Eleanor would be allowed to sleep with other people if it was in the presence of her husband. The same rule was designed for Drake. For Eleanor, this seemed like the perfect compromise; she would get the thrill of illicit sex without actually cheating on her husband.

They moved into a small apartment and began their next step together. Eleanor promised Drake she would stay faithful, yet she still fought with temptation daily and wondered what dirty secret she could keep hidden if he weren't watching closely. She got a job at Faith's beauty salon, where she formed tight bonds with other girls without them knowing anything about each other's stories.

CAREER
We gonna focus on 3 careers here:
  • hairdresser in Faith salon, where Eleanor will have a chance to earn honest money without any crazy stunts
  • become a fashion model for Senka at first and then take part in more erotic sessions
  • work for Bogdan as a croupier in his illegal casino and earn good money for doing kinky stuff with rich customers

STORY
A powerful narrative arc will revolve around Faith, which serves as the game’s central premise. You’ll gain more insight into her life, form an intimate bond with her spouse, and uncover a hidden truth. Whether you can help Faith or not rests in your gameplay choices.

Senka and Bogdan have landed in Miami to pursue their clandestine objectives. Will you join them on their path to success or attempt to challenge them?

Grace is Drake’s colleague from work. Can you assist her in blossoming like a butterfly?

Hey, don’t forget Cali from the bar – she eagerly awaits any wild escapade that Eleanor has up her sleeve.

And there is so much more to discover...

GAMEPLAY
You'll be immersed in a stunning mix of visual novel and relationship-simulating elements as they make decisions that shape the main plot. Each character featured in the game has its unique storyline to discover, with various daily actions, stats, and events set in place to strengthen the gameplay experience.

SEXUAL CONTENT
Eleanor promised her husband to remain faithful, but you could still sway her actions. Inviting partners for sex in front of her husband is exciting, but being ravished by strangers when he isn't around is even more tantalizing. Choose whether you want her to be a devoted wife or a naughty vixen with no regrets.

Also, we're going to reveal some of the things that have been worked on which didn't fit into Festivals - Headliners (as we've already announced in a previous update in 2022) and what we've got planned in it's place. We're very hyped and excited about it, and think you will be too!

Of course there will be plenty of opportunity to ask questions and provide suggestions during this hour long stream, and hope to see you all there!

Howdy, cowpokes!
🤠

We are super happy to see so many of you playing and enjoying the demo. Also a big round of thanks for all the feedback and reports you have been giving us. 🙌

Here is a list of all the fixes we have been able to fix so far based on your input:

Bandit balance changes
  • Quest bug fixes (some quests weren't tracking properly and would not progress as designed)
  • Containers could get the UI stuck if they were closed with the close inventory button (TAB) (no more getting stuck looking into safes and chests!)
  • Buffed revolver damage (the west is a dangerous place, we made sure you pack a bit heat)
  • Fixed an issue where the stolen horse wouldn't always be hitched (what good is a hitching post if the horse can just walk away?!)
  • Improved performance to reduce stuttering (we noticed issues with stuttering/frame rate drops. Optimization is ongoing)

Best of howdies,
The Don't Die in the West team
Solace Crafting - Malkere
This has been in the works for a long time, and is still not quite a complete solution as I finish plugging in some UI elements (there are a lot of them) into the full controller support system, but I wanted to get it up onto beta to get some feedback as I'm not actually a controller player myself.

Currently the biggest problem as I see it for full controller support is choosing which is more important:
1. Being able to cycle between next and last targets with R2 and L2
or
2. Being able to cycle between next and last hotbars with R2 and L2

As I've been torn between this, there's currently not a pre-bound key for targeting, though using any offensive skill will generally try to target whatever is in front of you. Currently I am leaning towards putting next target on the far right button (B for me), and maybe putting last target on the select key, as something not generally used, but there if you need it.

One of the biggest challenges of this patch was actually merging the 3+ months of on/off work that were spent on the controller support branch and the 3+ months of bug fixes that were being done on a separate branch. I spent pretty much the entirety of the past three days just getting everything to come together properly, and still have some weird unanswered questions why git (version control) was behaving the way it was with certain files, but all's well that ends well.

There are still some oddities I'm ironing out though, the save and quit menu is not highlighting properly, even though it is technically being selected properly from top to bottom, as well as the solace interface, and some things here and there. But for the most past the game is fully playable with a controller, so again I wanted to get it onto beta in it's current state in hopes of some feedback or suggestions from more experienced controller users ːsteamthumbsupː

And of course there's a round of random bug fixes to go with everything.
More to come over the next few days.

v 1.0.4.28 2023.10.11
- Added controller support (90% working, some changes pending)
- Fixed Q and E to rotate and R to autorun triggering even when certain windows are open/input fields are focused

- Fixed certain monster abilities throwing an error
- Fixed recipes unlocked in multiplayer not showing up in the crafting UI immediately
- Fixed the initial loading screen not loading any text where it should say loading in at least English

- Fixed starting the game for the first time throwing a harmless localization error
- Fixed a harmless error that could fire from PlayerSkills when starting up

You may need to restart Steam for the update to begin, or you can verify file integrity to trigger it.

    - Club Membership now includes the Banana Boost, earning 2x Golden Bananas from Bling Quests with no daily quest limit.
  • Named Monkey and Prestige Toggles
    - It is now possible to hide your monkey names and prestige badges.
    - Find this option in the settings menu.
Balance Changes
  • Tower Boost
    - Tower Boost initial cooldown 30s -> 20s
    - We have reduced tower boost’s initial cooldown so that it is more accessible in the tricky early rounds of Speed Battles, as a lot of towers struggle here.
  • Dart Monkey
    - 3xx Spike-o-pult now allows re-hitting targets after bouncing
    - 4xx Juggernaut now allows re-hitting targets after bouncing
    - 5xx Ultra-Juggernaut now allows re-hitting targets after bouncing
    - Allowing juggernaut projectiles to re-hit bloons after bouncing is a core mechanism of the tower in BTD6, so we are adding it to Battles 2 as well. We are also extending this to the Spike-o-pult like btd6 recently did, as Dart Monkey could definitely do with this small improvement.
  • Boomerang Monkey
    - xx5 MOAB Domination: $55k -> $52k
    - We have given MOAB Domination some decent damage buffs in the past, but it’s still pricey for what it does, so we think a small price cut is a fair adjustment.
  • Tack Shooter
    - x4x Blade Maelstrom: crosspathing with xx1 now changes the ability rotation direction to counter-clockwise
    - 5xx Inferno Ring: 510 Tack’s Meteor has 1 -> 2 pierce, 520 has 2 -> 3 pierce, 501 has 700 -> 1000 damage, and 502 has 1000 -> 1400 damage.
    - This Blade Maelstrom change was made to add greater versatility and limit any side advantages. Despite Tack being an incredibly popular tower, Inferno Ring still feels lacking in damage, therefore we have upped its Meteor damage and pierce values when crosspathed.
  • Monkey Sub
    - xx5 Sub Commander: attacks 2x -> 3x faster than xx4
    - Sub Commander is a very underutilised tier 5. Since its main strength is buffing other Monkey Subs, it lacks versatility as there are often situations where it isn’t practical to build up an army of subs with it. Therefore, we opted to buff its individual strength so that it can shine more on its own.
  • Monkey Buccaneer
    - 031 Cannonship: cannonball pierce 28 -> 35
    - 031 Cannonship: frags pierce 1 -> 2
    - We’re bringing over some changes from BTD6 that felt reasonable for this game too, buffing the rarely-used Cannonship upgrade.
  • Heli Pilot
    - x5x Special Poperations: cash crate ability will now also trigger all other cash crate abilities
    - x5x Special Poperations: cash crate ability no longer shares button space in the ability quickbar with tier 4 cash crate abilities.
    - We’ve extended the change that we did to Sniper’s ability to Heli Pilot, as it is a nice quality of life change that fits here as well.
  • Mortar Monkey
    - 3xx Shell Shock: $950 -> $1100
    - xx2 Burny Stuff: $600 -> $700
    - Mortar has still been incredibly strong even with the previous nerfs. The last 3xx stun duration change didn’t appear to have much of an impact, so we have opted for a price increase as well. Burny stuff and signal flare also stand out as being exceptionally efficient options, so we have increased the xx2 price. Also note that we have fixed a bug that caused mortar’s targeting to be significantly more accurate than intended.
  • Dartling Gunner
    - 5xx Ray of Doom: now deals +55 bonus damage to the first target hit
    - Ray of Doom is designed to be a high-pierce tower that effectively deals with large amounts of grouped bloons. However, due to this, it performs incredibly poorly against individual tough bloons, such as a single BAD. We felt that it should perform better against these types of bloons considering its extremely high price tag, therefore we added this change to improve its single target damage considerably.
  • Druid
    - x5x Spirit of the Forest: Jungle’s Bounty ability will now also trigger all other Jungle’s Bounty abilities
    - x5x Spirit of the Forest: Jungle’s Bounty ability no longer shares button space in the ability quickbar with tier 4 Jungle’s Bounty abilities.
    - x5x Spirit of the Forest: Jungle’s Bounty ability cash $1k -> $1.5, end of round cash $3k -> $2.5k
    - Like with Heli Pilot and Sniper, this nice quality of life change fits very well for Druid’s ability too. We’ve also shuffled some of the cash amounts to distinguish the tier 5 ability from the tier 4, so that it can have its own button space in the ability quickbar.
  • Sentai Churchill
    - Level 1: Pierce per explosion 5 -> 4 (carries over to future levels, so 7 -> 6 at level 2, 10 -> 9 at level 11)
    - Level 3 High Energy Shells: ability reduces attack cooldown by 45% -> 42%
    - Sentai Churchill is extremely strong in the early game for its cost. Not much gets past its ability either, so minor adjustments have been made to both.
  • Pat Fusty
    - Level 6: stuns bloons for 0.3 -> 0.45 seconds
    - We’re making a small buff to encourage Pat Fusty to be utilised more, since he has fallen off in popularity in the highest arenas.
Bug Fixes
  • Fixed Mortar attacks being significantly more accurate than they should be.
  • Fixed Sentai Churchill using Captain Churchill’s voice lines when tapped.
  • Various text fixes
  • Fixed Banana Farmer icon appearing with low resolution in game.
  • Fixed Engineer Traps, Obyn’s trees, etc spawning over the empty lift shaft on Bloon Bot Factory.
  • Fixed bloons sometimes getting stuck in a loop when affected by the Ninja Monkey’s distraction.
  • Fixed Engineer’s sentries not spawning with the same targeting as the Engineer.
  • Fixed incorrect sell values for towers in No Pain, No Gain games.
