Known issues
  • Holo projector fx is not applying to Niallis in 2.2, nor in 2.9 and 4.5
  • Audio issue of some sounds fading out or ambience sounding quieter when they’re not supposed to
  • Exiting Chloe's Thoughts UI via B button while it is animating and reopening duplicates Chloe's thoughts. This does not crash the game nor soft locks it, and is just a UI visual error.
  • Rare bug: Truck in 4.5b goes missing in one node if you make a save in a particular spot in the game.
  • Rare bug: Car in 4.7 duplicates if you make a save in a particular spot in the game.
  • Very Rare bug: In less than 1/30 chances, controller LB + RB simultaneous button press during some hacks may cause tooltips to open rather than allow player to select a hack choice.

Quick patch fixing some progression issues for 4th boss

Gameplay
  • Beach now has chance to spawn ALL shells, although rarer shells at a much reduced rate than normal beach shells. Shells caught from fishing have the common beach shells removed from spawn chances, so you’re likely to get more rare shells fishing.
  • Add name and favorite food to Suspended Animal item description
  • Treasure chest drop chances adjusted slightly for better chests.

  • Shell drop generation was bugged I think, now fixed
  • Removed Lemon from stock in summer (they have been changed to only grow in winter/spring)
  • Soybean seed sale price corrected
  • Player legs move now during intro scene
  • Accounting is now correct at the end of the day T_T
  • A copy of the original house entry and exit points remained on map when you move your house building.
  • Fishing pole no longer goes through bottom edge of bridges.
  • Player movement no longer gets caught/stuck when cornering the entry of bridges
  • Penguin post no longer gets stuck if pet tries to teleport to you while you are boarding it.
  • Action button work on card more info button (when using keyboard or controller)

Phew! Glad that’s just about over and done with. I ran afoul of an eight legged monster (Brown Recluse spider) around three and a half months ago, an event that left my one arm rendered incapacitated for quite an extended period of time. After several recurring infections and swelling that had me resemble an overly zealous bodybuilder with balancing troubles, my “fat” arm finally got cut open and, as a friend continues to joke every opportunity she gets, all the spiderlings were removed (spoiler alert: There were no spiderlings). Yeah. . . Fun times. Just about healed up, but this appendage o’mine is still a bit dumb and lazy. Also seems like I’ve finally kicked this head cold to the curb.

So with that behind us, we now look to the stars once more!
While recovering StarStruck took a bit of a backseat, a position it will hopefully not occupy for much longer. You can expect a small update in the immediate future that will fix some dialogue issues and smooth out a few wrinkles with the “new” save system implemented not too long ago. Beyond that we have come up with a few ideas to improve upon said system, an endeavor that will be tackled as soon as we finalize a few more details.

Now beyond StarStruck we have started work on another project, something I’m actually looking forward to quite a bit. Moving away from the tons of dialogue that go into making a Visual Novel, this new entry will be a sidescroller Metroidvania roguelike. We’re just about done with the majority of the planning and with setting up the base character, and we’re aiming for a bit of a showcase by the end of this month, should nothing pop up to hinder our progress. A word of warning: Hold onto your socks!!! And if, like me, you don’t really wear socks, well. . . Prepare to be blown away!

A quick heads-up if you're facing issues with the game appearing pixelated after the latest update 1.063.8. This was an unexpected issue due to updating the Unity engine from 2021LTS to 2022LTS, as it introduced some extremely low resolutions in the mix, messing up our saved resolution preferences.

To rectify this, please head to game settings (4th button if it's eligible), scroll down and select the last option in the resolution list (first dropdown), then apply the settings. This will set the game to the highest supported resolution for your monitor.
