We're not going to lie, but we're 72 hours away from the release of the most hookah-drinking DEMO of any game, Booze Masters: Freezing Moonshine. The developers have been up all night waiting for the demo to see the light of day.

The demo will be available from October 9th during the Steam Next Fest, from 7 PM CEST (mark your calendars). Come and see for yourself what the Motel "La Sorpresa" has to offer you. We look forward to your warm words and a few shots of valuable comments.

On Monday at 10 PM CEST there will be a livestream of the Booz game on Steam. The next livestream will be on Thursday (October 12th) at 9 PM CEST, so you might want to come by for the first one. Obviously, it would be great if you come by for both.



Now for a nice change - a moonshine recipe straight from Dr Professor:

Ingredients:

• 1 untouched jar of Nutella
  
• 1 bottle of spirit
  
• 10 cinnamon sticks (or something with cinnamon)

Instructions (if anyone still reads them):

1. Open a jar of Nutella. Make sure no one can see you - it's your sweet secret.
   
2. Pour the whole bottle of brandy into the jar of Nutella.
   
3. Put cinnamon sticks in the glass. It adds flavour to the liqueur, believe me.
   
4. Stir well. You can also flavour the drink by adding a few drops of your favourite alcohol. BUT ONLY A FEW DROPS.
   
5. Set the jar aside in a dark place for a few weeks, or until you start to doubt that this is really a moonshine recipe.
   
6. Enjoy.

It’s time for a spook-tacular celebration! Halloween is here for the monkes, and they’ve gone all-out decorating for the occasion. There’s plenty of fun and frights waiting for you, so get your friends together for a bone-chilling good time! Beware of the creepy cobwebs, eerie fog, and spooky scary skeletons that’ll send shivers down your spine.

The fun cosmetics in the store are sure to make you shriek with laughter. There’s masks, costumes, and a new pack that will have you looking boo-tiful! Dress up in your new scary swag before venturing out to find the ghastly ghouls and all sorts of tricks and treats.

• The demons at minute 30 now spawn with slow speed and increase slowly to make it possible to get away in ironman mode.
  
• The campfire now triggers the gameover screen when you leave an area, so you get the soul bonuses and unlocks. This also fixes the problem that there was no way to make progress in ironman-mode.
  
• Spear distance increased
  
• Interaction with buildings, people and the campfire is now triggered with the attack key to prevent accidentally walking into them
  
• The campfire will now not show the leave area message anymore in the farmspots.
  
• Hitbox of beam of death slightly decreased
  
• Increased scrap resources
  
• Player hitbox slightly decreased
  
• Soulpower second life is now more rare
  
• The type and material of the crafting window are now saved after scraping an item.
  
• The shop now autosaves the game at closing the window instead of after every purchase.
  
• The sunbeam and leave effects can now be separately turned on/off in the settings menu instead of being coupled with she particle setting.
  
• Bugfix: Fixed some language typos
  
• Bugfix: Lightning bug after death in ironman mode
  
• Bugfix: Crash at dieing when particles were turned off

We've also added the concept of "Daily Goals" to Noun Town to keep you on track with your learning. The system prompts you to do certain activities each day to build your "learning streak" (sound familiar? 😁)

Here's a sad looking "Daily Goals" screen where you've not made any progress - it gets more colorful as you complete your goals...


Finally, the fabricator! And finally, one of the coolest parts of the VR version of Noun Town was spawning items on demand and then throwing them around and we've added the same concept to Noun Town Desktop!


On a serious note - this feature is super helpful to practice tricky items. You can spawn them and build your own memory palace, grouping similar sounding words, or putting them in a place to prompt you to remember them

It is time! The Talos Principle 2 Demo is available now, ahead of Steam Next Fest, and you can jump in to get a taste of this long-awaited sequel by playing a specially tailored demo. In this demo, play through some of the puzzles from the very beginning of the game, before moving forward to roughly a halfway point and seeing how things evolve.
