Diluvian Ultra - FQ_Dom
Hello everyone!

Here we are with the first patch for Diluvian Ultra Chapter One - It is filled with fixes and changes you have been asking for. The full list of changes and fixes is below, but most notable are changes to the audio of enemy barks, fixing many controller issues and improvements to the flow of texts.

We are aware that not all reported issues have been fixed, but we decided that publishing an incremental improvement is better than having you wait until everything is done.

There are two issues specifically that we are working on fixing as soon as possible, but can already be somewhat remedied if you encounter them:
  • There is a bug that can sometimes corrupt a Waystone save and cause you to lose all weapons when you die and respawn. Going to the menu and selecting "restart level" should restore your arsenal, albeit losing the progress you've made in that particular level of course. The bug is difficult to replicate however, and while this worked for us, we cannot guarantee it will work every time - please let us know here in the comments, in Steam discussions or on our Discord server if you encounter this issue and whether restarting the level solved it for you or not. The more details we have, the easier it will be for us to squash the bug!
  • If you start a game and cannot move and in general it seems unresponsive to any keyboard commands, make sure you don't have a controller plugged in or wirelessly connected - currently it disables the keyboard and "takes over".

Hear, Hear, dear Queens and Kings!


We give you Thronefall's very first community event: The Desert Lightning Challenge!

But what is it? 🤔
EZ PZ. (or is it? 👀 ) All you have to do is play on Durststein, with the Lightning Wand, AND the Commander Mode perk, and try to get the highest score possible! You can bring any amount of other perks and mutators you want.


Just take a screenshot of the "Victory" screen, so everyone can see Durststein's background, and post it on our Discord server in the #lightningdesert channel. Feel free to chat there using threads, as the channel itself will be dedicated to the event.

The event's deadline is on Friday, October 13, 9 AM CST time ; no more scores will be accepted after. We'll then proceed to announce the winners.

- Dramatically reduced Axe chop's recovery time. (0.45 -> 0.25 sec)

- Increased Armor Break duration on all pickaxes by 2.5 seconds.
- Removed the durability loss reduction from Shotgun's infusion trait.

BACKROOMS: APPREHENSION - Heisenraptor Designs
NEW MAP
I've read a lot of your guys' feedback and it was apparent that the previous map was way too big, players had trouble finding each other, especially in smaller lobbies, it was also too bright.
This new map addresses all those issues, it has elements from both the original and the previous map, it's much more focused while not feeling too big and empty, the brightness has been toned down and it's full of useful hiding/ambush spots.

NEW WEAPON
The revolver is a new weapon that can be found in crates, it's precise and deadly but fires slower than the pistol and takes longer to reload.

GAMEPLAY CHANGES
There have been some changes to the core gameplay, scientists won't always die in one shot anymore, they will take damage, health can only be replenished with painkillers (Which can be infected by the Skin Stealer).

NEW SKIN STEALER MODEL AND SOUNDS
The Skin Stealer has received a brand new model as well as terrifying new sound effects.

Cats on Duty - Mr. Horrible Gelatinous Blob
Prove that you are a true master and assemble the most powerful squad of cats in battle with incredibly terrible and slightly flat monsters!

We gona make it not only fun, but also profitable. During the Steam Next Fest, play the Cats on Duty demo and at the end of it don’t forget to take a screenshot (GIF or video) of your resulting meow-squad. Post a screenshot (GIF or video) on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Tik-Tok, YouTube... anywhere, the main thing is that it can be found, which is what our brave SMM will do.
