Good day everyone,

Today is our fourth hotfix, that will release for Steam, Epic and GoG users.
Updates for consoles will follow up later as they need to be certified on their side.
We are still working at a high pace to improve the game and fix more bugs.




BUGFIXES

  • Fixed bug that left wrong advantage icon when targets where deselected on AOE abilities
  • Fixed bug that sometimes caused two-handed items to be left on screen after closing inventory
  • Triforce: fixed bug that caused Confirm button to disappear during precise AOE attacks (i.e. Lava Eruption) when used in combination of Formless Power ability
  • Fixed card previews on unselected level up Ability Cards when using Mouse+Keyboard controls
  • Fixed bug that caused map information under the cursor (Gold, Obstacle, Enemy or Mercenary Info) to be over All Cards screen (Alt)



USEFUL INFORMATION

  • Some of your issues may be coming from mods not being updated for the newest version. Launching the game without mods might fix some of theses issues.

  • For anyone having trouble playing on the last updates or wanting to return to the latest pre-Saber version e.g. the same version as the latest Mac release, it is available on Steam, and here is how to opt in:

    - To opt into the last pre-update version, v.28009, right-click on the game in Steam -> Properties -> BETAS and select the "v.28009" from the drop-down list.

    - Important information: switching to the open beta or this v.28009 version might corrupt the save files if you have launched the newer version before doing it.

    You simply have to do a backup of the initial save file to protect your save - Save files are located in C:\Users<USERNAME>\AppData\LocalLow\FlamingFowlStudios\Gloomhaven

    If you are moving from the regular version of the game to Open Beta, simply create a copy of your GloomSaves folder and rename it to GloomSavesV28009.
    Individual saves can also be copied between the Guildmaster folders if you prefer.

This will give the possibility to make better timelapses aswell as way more control over the recording

【ステージ追加】
第二章、追憶の狂騎士 ライゼンシャハ
亡国ルクレガニア最後の騎士であり使徒。奪った命を得る代わりに、一日に一人、殺す事を義務付けられた。



【特殊能力を持つエネミーの追加】
ステージ2からは新たに特殊な能力を持ったエネミーが登場します。
ここではその一部を紹介します。

・飛翔する者
空を飛び、近接型ユニットの攻撃を受けずブロックが不可能なエネミーです。
弓や魔法系のジョブのユニットを配置したり、リーダースキルを利用することで対策しましょう。


・舞い散る悲嘆
発火の状態異常になると防御力が低下するエネミーです。
しかし防御力が下がる代わりに別のなにかが起きるようで…?



【UI・UX改善】
・出現するエネミーを確認できる画面の追加
戦闘準備に現在の階層で出現するエネミーのステータスを表示する機能を追加しました。
またボス戦闘の時には敵の詳しい出現数まで確認できるようになっています。



重ね重ねになりますが、これらの内容はアップデートの一部になります。
新しいスキルやイベント、細かなバランス調整など多数の更新があります。
ぜひステージ2をプレイして確かめてみてください。

今後もステージ追加や、多言語対応などアップデートを続けてまいります。

The city overhaul is almost finished, I just need to retexture the furniture, redo the navmesh so the NPC pathfinding will work on the new map and redo the occlusion mapping so things don't disappear when looking through a window.
I also have to wait until my brother finishes the bamboo and make interactable again, after that we can use the same system to add dandelions and other forage.



Have a look on the before and after of the city overhaul, there is much more color and the style now matches the characters more.



All new textures are more stylized, but I managed to recycle some of the realistic looking ones in some places as long as they don't conflict with the new style.



You will notice the many new gardens and pots around the town, some are cultivating clovers instead of flowers, these are placeholder for the vines we couldn't get working yet, we want to have vines climbing the wood structures specially around the shops and have some hanging down the bridges.

There should be a test version on the beta build somewhere next week, stay tuned.

8D Character Creator - cub3


Fellow Character Enthusiasts,

this week is a really big update with a really short changelog, so I won't even display a changes list :)

We changed exactly two things. Number 1: We increased the available range for scalings, so you can now scale your chars down to 15% of the available size. And number 2...



We added horses!

Horses are available as a new mount option for the animations idle, walk and run. Your character will be layered and positioned automacially on it, so you don't need to do anything. Also the dimensions stay exactly the same!

The only minor inconvenience - horses are only available in 4 directions, but we are still the only character creator delivering horses ;)


There might be no update next week as we are preparing for update 3.0, which might take us a while longer to complete.

Slime? Climb?:

  • NPC's on lifts, now move with lift when pushed with block. Rather than die or pushed off lift.
  • Made lift stop when lift has hit block below, when moving down.
  • Lifts now don't explode when colliding with another lift when moving up/down.
  • Stopped NPC flashing when pushed up by crusher.
  • NPC's now don't climb/drop down Left/Right when pushed up by a crusher.
  • Balloon's now burst when coming into contact with sharp hazards.
  • Added visual representation of hazard blocks.





  • Added Rock hazard.




Please note.

At the moment I'm chucking in all the assists/hazards, they will probably in the future, be slowly introduced as you make your way through the levels.
