Mage Lords of Brams - Justinian
Added an Armaments index to the Options menu. Can be accessed from both options in main menu and in-game Options screen. Will give extra info on whether an armament will crit (useful for knowing what will trigger on crit abilities like the Wood Elf's), what status effects they inflict, and their base cooldown.

I did not include damage due to limited space and because it's not that useful of a stat.

Please let me know if you run into any issues, adding menu items to this game is actually very prone to bugs due to lack of decent gamemaker menu support + my inexperience when coding it (will definitely take a different approach in future games but what's done is done).

This will be the last content/features update for this game.

Future updates will only deal with bug fixes or editing stuff like inaccurate displayed info.

Thank you to everyone who bought and/or played Mage Lords of Brams and I hope you had fun with it.

Greetings from the Warhaven team!

To show our appreciation for all of the players who have enjoyed Warhaven's early access build, we're thrilled to announce that Warhaven's unique font is now freely available to download and use!

◼ Nexon Warhaven Font
The Warhaven font was designed to evoke the shaped of a forged sword, with sharp angles and clean strokes.
By giving the long gothic body font additional character at the end of each stroke, we hoped to create a font that was ready for the battlefield.

Go to the official website now and download the font through [Media] → [Logo and Font]!

The Warhaven font is provided to all users for personal and commercial use free of charge, and may be freely used and distributed.

Gehinnom - ChaosMinds
A big issue that many of you reported is that when a player leaves the game, it exits for everyone.
The reason is because some quests require all human players to complete. This issue is now fixed.
unless the lobby leader leaves - the game continues!

-Fixed a pause menu bug when the chatbox is opened.

Deathbulge: Battle of the Bands - Baconhousefive
SAVING

Each save slot is now divided into two save files: your latest autosave and your latest manual (Saeva) save. Upon loading the save screen, you will be presented with the LATEST save first, but will have the ability to cycle between them using UP and DOWN while the save slot is highlighted.

For existing saves made prior to this patch, they will appear as a single autosave in the menu until new saves are performed in game.

DOOR KICKING:

There is now a special little extra event that occurs in Bopstead once a certain someone finds out you’ve kicked every door in. If you’ve already completed this portion of the game, fret not, you don’t need to talk to him again to trigger this and can scope this out immediately without starting a fresh file.

MODS:

Updated the TYPE of a few mods to better align with their effects. This is purely a cosmetic change.

COMBAT:

  • Added Exit to Title functionality: by holding the MENU button (C on keyboard, Y on Xbox/Steam Controller) you’ll now be able to exit the current battle and return to the title screen. This can come in handy if you want to try out a different gear setup without dying/force restarting the game.
  • Reduced the duration of field invincibility after winning a battle.

The duration of the post-battle victory invincibility was too long to the point of being potentially annoying.

?????:

Added additional exits to improve pacing.

UI:

  • Improved the appearance and clarity of sold-out items when selected in shops.
  • Improved the clarity of the Info button in combat.

MISCELLANEOUS:

  • Optimized memory usage for certain character/class combos.
  • Added the ability to skip a certain endgame cutscene in some cases.
  • Added an extra tidbit of situational dialogue for the Whale.

BUG FIXES:

  • Fixed a bug that prevented Harpleen from summoning her Mooncloud minion.
  • Fixed a bug that prevented Shredded Shred from Shredding three times when Ian’s Mad Fortify was up.
  • Fixed a visual bug that occurred when displaying measure modifiers in the beat booster menu.
  • Fixed layering issues with certain bus stops.
  • Fixed a bug which caused characters to drop to 0 HP when equipping certain patches.
  • Fixed a bug that caused certain abilities to deal 1 damage when they weren’t supposed to.
  • Fixed a bug that caused Orbomina to play the incorrect encounter sound effect.
  • Fixed a bug that caused the Hoho music to play the indoor variant outdoors after skipping certain cutscenes.
  • Fixed a bug that caused Who Cares? to sometimes make the incorrect door kick sound.
  • Fixed a bug that prevented the game from autosaving when skipping certain cutscenes.
  • Fixed various sound mixing issues.
  • Fixed various collision issues.
  • Fixed various grammatical errors and typos.

Sky: Children of the Light - ThatSkyStellify

It’s been a busy year in and out of Sky—new events and features in the game, multiple Sky Assemblies around the world, and of course, you may have heard about that world record-breaking AURORA concert at gamescom. Now it’s time for more news about Steam Next Fest, and an update on our Wishlist campaign.

Join Us During Steam Next Fest

We’re excited to share that Sky will next be participating in Steam Next Fest from October 9th through 16th! During that window, all PC players can play a demo version of Sky via Steam—no special sign-ups or invite codes are needed.

To play on the Next Fest PC demo, you’ll be able to download Sky from Steam like any other game. We’d love to get your feedback on things like:

  • How does the game feel as you play it? Is performance smooth and stable?
  • Do you have any issues with graphics?
  • How were controls and UI (user interface)?

Both new and current players are welcome to try this version out—feedback from players of all experience levels is vital! We’ll track feedback through a dedicated channel on Discord—join us on the server to send it there so that we can hear from you! That feedback will be vital as we work towards the full PC launch—and on big plans we have for next year, too…

During Next Fest we’ll also be hosting a special livestream! Join us on October 13th at 9:00 am PDT (UTC -7) for a special Steam Next Fest stream featuring Cozy K, Game Designer Julian Jimsa, and Community Manager Stellify on our official Steam page. Julian and Stellify will join Cozy K in exploring the world of Sky, as well as enjoying the Days of Style vibes. Keep an eye on our Steam page too for exclusive material (like, say, concept art) being posted there as part of the event.

The main difference between the demo version of Sky available during Next Fest and the full version is that in-game purchases won’t be available. Otherwise, PC players will be able to play the Next Fest version of Sky the same as players on mobile, Switch, and PlayStation, and there will be crossplay with all other platforms.

(Note that account progress on the Next Fest PC demo will be saved and carried over to the full official launch later on. If you already have a Sky account, link it to a Steam account first while you’re on a mobile device, and you’ll be able to play that account during Next Fest.)

Steam Wishlist Extravaganza Results

There’s no other way to put it: You all were AMAZING. You easily took us past 100,000 and then 200,000 wishlists, and kept going past 250,000 and even 300,000! THANK YOU! As we mentioned in our Wishlist announcement, we’re giving something to the community for each of these four tiers:

  1. 100,000: Special Edition Desktop Backgrounds ({LINK REMOVED})
  2. 200,000: Sneak Peek Concept Art (if you missed them, we posted them earlier here!)
  3. 250,000: Traveling Spirit Community Vote
  4. 300,000: Double Hearts + Double Candles event during the first week of the full PC launch

We’re working out the specific dates for when the Community-voted Traveling Spirit and Double Hearts + Double Candles will appear in the game for everyone. But, in the meantime, there’s a very important decision to make—

Traveling Spirit Community Vote

Since we reached 250,000 Wishlists, it’s time to choose a Traveling Spirit! This Spirit will be the second in line to visit after Sky’s official launch on PC. All Spirits currently eligible to return as a TS are listed on the voting form; whichever Spirit gets the most votes compared to any other will be chosen.

Voting begins today, October 5th, and continues until 10:00 am on October 16th PDT (UTC -7), the last day of Next Fest. Happy voting!

{LINK REMOVED}

Phew!

Next Fest, livestreaming, more Steam PC players, a Traveling Spirit vote—that was a lot for one blog article. With everything going on, and some bigger plans on the horizon, we can’t wait to share what’s coming up. We’ll see you at Next Fest!

Swarm Grinder - Gimmick
v0.5.0

SUMMARY

  • An Endgame Boss has been added to the Mining Expedition mode.
  • New types of enemies have been added.
  • In-game events have been added.
  • Small adjustments have been made to game balance.

CHANGES

Meet Lecronator!

  • To complete the Mining Expedition mission, you now have to confront and defeat the Lecronator, who appears in the Final Mining Zone.
  • The Lecronator currently has two types of attacks. In the first attack, when the character approaches, it strikes around itself, creating a rush wave. In the second attack, it generates tendrils that attack the character.
In future updates, we will be adding different attack types and phases to the Lecronator. Please share your feedback with us!

New Enemy Types

We are adding 5 different types of enemies to the game. We are distributing them across the maps and evolution levels. Now, the basic enemies on the maps are different, and a new enemy type is added to the maps every 3 evolution levels.

  • Scorpion enemies spin around for a while before targeting the character and attacking. They have similar health and damage values to regular enemies but are much faster.
  • Slime enemies move in random directions after emerging from cells. They have high health.
  • Fly Thrower enemies take a certain distance from characters and throw fly enemies. Fly enemies follow the character, and if they collide with the character, disappear and deal damage.
  • The Slowdown Explosive enemy type creates a slowing area where it explodes. If the character comes into contact with this area, they are slowed down.
  • The Poisonous Explosive enemy type creates a poison area where it explodes. If characters and enemies come into contact with this area, they take damage.
We have designed the new enemies to be strong against different builds, so don't hesitate to try different builds if you encounter a difficulty you can't overcome!

In-game Events

We are introducing 4 types of in-game events that can strengthen your character in various ways. These are Upgrade Parts, Station Areas, Cursed Upgrades, and Temporary Buffs. All in-game events are scattered randomly across the map.

  • When you collect 3 Upgrade Parts, you receive two upgrades for the ability that your character is closest to getting a special upgrade for.
  • When you enter a Station Area, your character benefits from the buff of the Station Area they are in.
  • Cursed Upgrades are available in the game starting from the 2nd Evolution Level. Cursed Upgrades greatly enhance some of the character's attributes while significantly reducing others. Discretion is advised. 🙂
  • Temporary Buffs are available in the game starting from the 5th Evolution Level. To obtain temporary buffs, you need to destroy Crystal Enemies with buffs on them.

Balance Adjustments

  • Early and mid-game damage dealt by enemies has been reduced.
  • Health drop chance of enemies has been decreased.
  • Awarded bioshard for every run has been increased for every evolution stage.
  • Prices for Workshop upgrades have been raised.
  • Knockback Distance upgrade of Project Lute in Workshop upgrades has been strengthened. Burn Duration upgrade in the same project has been changed to Burn Chance.
  • The base penetration value of the Spiral Shot ability has been increased, and the cooldown time has been reduced.
  • The quantity of the Vortex Blades ability has been increased by 1, but the cooldown time has also been slightly increased.
