We've dived into different dimensions, but it's time to take Morgan into another game! Take out vampires with slow-mo flair in Strange Scaffolding's neo-noir throwback, El Paso, Elsewhere. The game has been getting rave reviews so don't miss out on joining in on the stake-driving fun this Halloween season:
As for Morgan's lil cameo? Well, keep your eyes open (when you're not driving stakes into vampires) and look for a Morgan figurine. To help you out, here's a closer look:
Aside from the sneaky cameo, we also dropped a brand NEW trailer for our Solus update. The trailer shows off one of the new song tracks we added and some footage of our new update we released last month. Do give the Solus trailer a watch here:

For this update, we wanted to talk a little more about the environment and why you should stay alert while walking round town.
You will of course have lots to do in Spirittea, including quests from your friends in town, and while starting some quests may be as simple as speaking to someone, others may sneak up on you in different ways...
The environment is a big part of that! The spirits are up to no good and hassling the people in town, however some of them may be getting up to other antics, so it's a good idea to keep your eyes peeled when walking around to see if you can spot anything strange or odd, for example...
WHY ARE THESE SNOWMEN ALIVE AND WHY ARE THEY PELTING ME WITH SNOWBALLS?!?
You'll start to notice things as the seasons change too, whether it's the environment or wildlife, so keep an eye out once they do and see if you can spot anything untoward...
Thanks for tuning into this FROSTY update, we'll see you in the next one!

2 patches in 1 day! Around 10 bugs down, probably around 200 more bugs to go...
This month you'll see a lot of these patches. Again, a big thank you to anyone who finds a bug and reports it via Steam or Discord. It helps me a ton! Working solo on this project means that even if I do a ton of play-testing, I'll likely miss at least a few bugs every time.
Here's what I fixed in this patch:
- Potential fix for an issue where status cards persist in your deck after a combat encounter, leading to strange bugs and possible soft-locking. I say "potential" because I personally haven't encountered this bug (it was reported by a player), but I did see a possible issue in the code that I patched. - Red Geyser, Scare to Death, and Blindsided cards now add 2 status cards to enemy deck, instead of 1. - Made Primal Regeneration card description a bit easier to understand, it was kinda confusing. - Panicked tooltip text mentioned Enraged status instead of Panicked status. - Add back in tooltips for static cards (cards in card reward store, view deck overlay, etc.) - More fixes for Smoke status card descriptions - Some players have reported issues with tabbing out of the game and tabbing back in causing soft-locking. I added a potential fix that allows the game to continue running in the background. I'll need to do more testing to ensure that this has actually been fixed. - Fix a bug where you could keep removing cards from your deck even though you couldn't afford it. - Flush Out card had a white box where the art should be. I added a placeholder image for now (still need to finish all the card art!). - Unlocks page pagination had an incorrect pagination label, was showing an incorrect total page count.
It looks like we're going to have ourselves a livestream soon!
We will go through The Burst demo build, talk a bit about cool things we've been doing and maybe even answer some of your questions at the end of the stream!
Today marks TWO WEEKS until Alaskan Road Truckers launches on Steam!
In the buildup to launch, we've been running a few closed playtests for our Discord members. This has been incredibly useful to us, helping us to refine our focus, fix bugs, and make some changes that the community has asked for.
Community Playtest Updates
We've received a ton of feedback over the most recent playtest sessions. Here are some of the changes we've been able to implement in our playtest build, which all helps make the final game better than ever:
Added dedicated quality settings for rear view mirrors
Can now disable the first-person camera following the steering wheel
Camera toggle speed is increased
NPC cars now use taillights
Truck and trailer stop lights, reverse lights and direction lights now work (still WIP)
Wet road reflections have been improved
Trucker perk tooltips don’t flicker anymore
AI car improvements (still WIP)
UI scaling fixes
Concrete barrier collision fix
Sky and light tweaks - night is darker, sun reflections are fixed, fog is tweaked
Bird size and velocity tweaks
Draw distance improvement in some places
Subtle UI changes in facility and map menus
There are many more changes, these are just the headlines, but we wanted everyone to know - we're listening to your feedback very carefully. This won't stop here either, when we launch the game we want to continue hearing from you - you're an essential component in making Alaskan Road Truckers a success.
Playtest Videos
We've been able to let streamers and content creators get their hands on the latest playtest builds over the last few days and the response has blown us away. Here's a few for you to whet your appetite in anticipation of the full game launch.
