Hey engineers! And congratulations to you, as this update marks Early Access Stage 4 as complete! We've been really focused on updating the visuals in the past couple of monts, so this update is something new.
On one hand, we've pushed it hard to make some of the game's mechanics more comprehensive. On the other hand, we've made crafting more complex and challenging for more intense brain stimulation!

Re: Factory
Q: "Make mouse grid able to multiselect dimantle or destroy. Would make clearing the map from plants much easier instead of clicking on them individually." -CheeseAndChocolate A: This feature already exists in the game, make sure to research an upgrade for your Multitool!

1. Change the title of "Craft" to "Kill the Ancient God". Suggest that players need these equipments to kill that ancient god. At the same time, I also describe it directly in the quest. In fact, if you carefully read the plot, you won't miss this clue.
2. If you need to kill a monster first to trigger quest plot, the triggering scene will prompt the player: "You need to kill a spider first. You can search for it on the map by pressing M key." Alternatively, it may say "You need six god equipments".
3. Reduce the drop rate of purple equipments in level 10 treasure box. Although it is only a small game with a life of about 4 hours, too many purple drops can still make the equipment quality meaningless.
4. Considering that the game plot unfolds too slowly at early time, I place a cutscene at the beginning of the game to optimize the game rhythm. Originally I intended to place it at the beginning of each new saveslot, but new saveslot has already an animation. And the game's life is relatively short. There is not much difference between placing it at the beginning of the game and placing it at the beginning of a saveslot. This cutscene cannot be skipped during the first time watching. If you have already watched it, you can skip it by pressing ESC or Space key.
I'm excited to announce that Fishyphus is now available for Windows, Linux, and Steam Deck. Fishyphus is a horror fishing game originally developed for Games for Blind Gamers 2. In it you sail an impressionistic sea, catching fish to summon and battle a sea monster. This release finally brings it to Steam with a few small improvements.
Enjoy!

In this chill metroidvania experience, you pilot an upgradable exosuit and explore a musical solar system. The inspiration for Fishyphus came from wanting to add a fishing minigame to its water world, which has waves to surf and caves to explore beneath its mysterious surface.

In a game so wrapped up in mystery, Shatter exploration is an integral part of Wizard With a Gun. Each time you leave the Tower into a procedurally generated world, you will be able to collect items used for crafting, meet and talk with NPCs that can aid you in your journey, and scan to your heart’s content. 🧙
Collect & Craft 🍂⚒️
Crafting is a large part of Wizard With a Gun. You’ll need to collect items from around the Shatter in order to craft clothing, furniture, potions, and even the spells you’ll use to take down enemies! When you leave the safety of the Tower, leave no stone unturned. Leave no turnip ungathered. One of the strategies the team used most in playtesting were farming runs, where once you go out of that portal, pockets empty and guns a-blazing, the primary goal was collecting crafting materials. This way, you can stock up on everything you need to make yourself the best and most powerful little wizard you can be!
Meet NPCs 🤝
If you happen to find yourself low on health while wandering the Shatter, find Grandma Bogfen! She is a master potion crafter and will be more than happy to offer you one of her creations. If it’s weaponry you seek, find our good friend Young Joshua, the Gunsmithy! He will make you guns that you can use in your journeys. These aren’t the only two friends you can make, so ensure you explore all biomes for more friendly faces!
Scanning for Lore & More 📕
In order to learn more about the creatures, objects, and enemies you encounter, you should scan them with the First Edition. It will tell you all you need to know (and sometimes even give you recipes for furniture, powders, and upgrades to clothing.) Always worth it to scan!

Thank you for playing the demo and we are really excited to see you at Next Fest along with hundreds of other great games!
If you haven't already, please add Darkblade Ascent to your wishlist.
This may come as a surprise but we’ve released an optimization patch for Project Cappuccino! Originally, we developed this as our first project with little experience, but have gained considerable knowledge since its release and used an opportunity we had to make some fixes to the game. Unfortunately, some things like adding more save slots would require major reworks since we didn’t know better at the time and we risk breaking saves. (So that stuff will need to wait for an eventual remaster!)
However, there’s been massive optimization fixes done and the game is smoother to play now. If you run into any bugs, please don’t hesitate to let us know and we’ll do our best to solve them.
Here’s what’s changed.
Optimized load times between large scenes such as the Cafe Lobby. Players should see around 20-30% faster loading between scenes.
Optimized Compression of Some Sprites: This should also contribute to loading times and the game’s file size.
Cleaned up unnecessary code
Added new SFX to secret Sophie route
