Balancing/QOL/Player Feedback
  • You can now swap clothing items.
  • You can now dismantle built items by Holding X (you get all your resources back).
  • Health bar will show briefly for any damaged structure.
  • Gamepad icons will only show if the controller is used.
  • Skill changes: Hoarder skill is now Deep Pockets.
  • New Skill: Stealth Speed.
  • New Night time enemy has been added!
  • Adjusted human AI timer if no encounter with player occurred.
  • Hitting a bush and a zombie at the same time is possible now.
  • Improved melee weapon durability.
  • Lock picking now uses A and D.
  • Guitar weapon added.
  • Guitar Emote added (Guitar equipped required).
  • Interactable fuel pumps at gas stations (empty can of fuel required).
  • All built structures can now be damaged by zombies.
  • Sleeping added for Single Player (Use via emote system to speed up time).
  • Car Jack loot bug fixed now spawning correctly in lockers.
  • Car parts durability improved and they now last longer.
  • Clothing durability improved and they now last longer.
  • Added 5 additional Weapon Slots to the buildable Weapon Crate.
  • Hitting Fire barrels with a vehicle will explode the barrel.
  • Fire arrow (cycle arrows with Y).
  • Fire arrow and fire torch deal fire damage and can set zeeks on fire.
  • More items are now stackable.
  • New nail spawners added to hardware stores.
  • Hatchet can now chop logs.
  • Painkillers now heal over time.
  • Adjusted thirst drain while hot/very hot.
  • Made Car Headlights more powerful.
  • Antique items can be found in the Antiques shop (Enjoy!).
  • Improvements to the map and look of some houses.
  • Fireplace added to another house type.
  • Improved damage slightly of hunting rifle and revolver.
  • Improved helmet falling off sound.
  • Added tip for vehicle flipping over to vehicle survival guide section.
  • New hockey masks added (more coming soon).
  • Balance pass for vehicle fuel economy.
  • New Movement option in Settings>Gameplay>PlayerRotation called “Movement” (Allows player to move freely without following the crosshair unless in combat mode made for controller but also nice with Keyboard and Mouse).
  • New Weapon break option in world settings (Allows all weapons to break at 0% durability apart from crowbar, if not selected the default option of improvised weapons breaking will be enabled)
  • You can now set Zombie Multiplier to x10 (We recommend not going over x2 unless you think your PC can handle it, we are NOT responsible for anyone's PC blowing up! )
  • Updated vitals UI to display colour change when vitals drop below 50%.

Fixes:
  • Fixed loot container not checking for respawn loot.
  • Fixed inventory quick slot interaction with consumables.
  • Fixed zombies stuck and clipping through doors.
  • Fixed camera shake setting not working as expected (options now are Default, soft and disabled).
  • Fixed slow montage when hitting bushes.
  • Fixed some text typos.
  • Fixed white trainers icon.
  • Fixed missing sockets from houses for adding barricades (i,e. For Sale houses).
  • Fixed respawning loot not respawning on loading of save.
  • Fixed seating positions for Campervan and Dubey Croquet.
  • Fixed Additional Weapon Slots showing incorrectly in APC and Camper Van.
  • Fixed certain items disappearing(Hose, Syringe etc)
  • Fixed Campervan logs showing on roof.
  • Fix for interacting with vehicles and getting stuck in driving animation.
  • Fix for being stuck in farm plots after interacting with them.
  • Fixed Bear Trap being destroyed on interaction.
  • Fixed Bear Trap damages Human AI.
  • Fixed getting stuck with LMB on Ores in crafting menus.
  • Controller fixes: unable to close crafting, repair car, move items from quick slot, take crafted item.
  • Added fall back check for being stuck in vaulting state.
  • Death screen potential fix.
  • Potential fix mining lag Multiplayer.
  • Potential fix for spawn point does not remove zombies or AI.
  • Potential fix for falling through the map (player gets teleported back).
  • Fixed stuck if hit while doing some animation.

Last but not least there are two quirks that we’re aware of and ready to tackle in the future:
Painkillers are inadvertently stacking to 5 instead of 10 - hotfix this weekend will correct this.
Caffeine Conundrum: Clicking on coffee beans can currently lock up your character. Logging out and back in fixes the state.

Continuous Game Mode
  • Allows you to "save" the game
    • Currently only saves the score, in the future the game will save the position of each ingame item, settings and other stuff

Started remaking the UI again
  • The old UI was very... stupid...
  • It also used a lot of Unity-Store assets
  • We decided to remake it again using our own assets.
  • Not all UI elements have been updated yet. A list of what needs to be done can be seen on our Trello Page

Updated Cheats Handler
  • Added a few new cheats
  • The achievement.free.unlock cheat now works on all scenes where cheats can be used, even when cheats are enabled
  • Cheats now disable Steam stats and the money system.
    • However the achievements, steam stats and money system are reenabled when you exit the scene.

Remade the entire achievement system
  • Achievements are now disabled on levels where cheats are used
  • Added a few different achievements

Updated the powerup system
  • Increased the chance for a powerup to spawn from 10% to 30%
  • HOPEFULLY fixed the bug preventing the speed boost powerup from spawning

Misc Changes
  • Started making the game completely DRM-Free
  • Remade the REDACTED Easter Egg - Still Unfinished
  • Removed all content toggles
  • Added text to the Survival Game Mode to explain what it's for
  • Fixed many issues in the Survival Mode
  • Updated to a newer Unity LTS version (2022.3.5f1)

Hello, dear players! Our first small-scale test event, which runs from September 29, 2023, to October 6, 2023, is now officially open. Come and join the trial play!

After the development team's overnight efforts, many optimizations and modifications have been made to the game. However, there are still some issues that cannot be resolved immediately. The following problems are currently known, and they will be addressed or completely fixed after this round of testing. Please look forward to future testing sessions. If you encounter other issues or wish to provide feedback, please do so through Steam. The entire development team would like to express their gratitude!

Some known bugs at the moment:

When exiting a game midway or dissolving a room, there may be a bug preventing re-entry into the game, with it continuously showing "Creating." If you encounter this issue, please restart the game.
There is an issue with player-controlled character hands twitching and stretching, and there may also be problems with long-press interactions with doors, making them unresponsive. Please temporarily avoid using long-press interactions and instead use left-clicking or pressing the E key.
During the spirit recovery phase, if all players die, the host's game may crash.
When multiple players simultaneously attempt to grab a door, it may cause a player's game to crash

- Fixed an issue that causes saving to corrupt the savefiles

This was a big one. I prepared something for the big update but mistakenly put it in the save class, which caused errors when saving. This corrupted the save files, making them disappear from the list. Unfortunately, those saves files can't be saved anymore.

I hope this doesn't affect too many people. Terribly sorry about this.

- Fixed bug in Single Player mode when obtaining an FTP shell, causing the terminal to stop responding.

- Fixed bug that caused mission NPC emails to not generate under certain circumstances, also preventing the use of social engineering.

- Fixed regression bug that could cause a crash when accessing a computer with a hidden or karma mission after performing certain actions.

- Fixed bug that could negatively affect game performance until the player connected to a Wi-Fi network.

- Fixed bug in connect_ethernet that caused a crash when used on an NPC computer.

- Fixed bug that caused the player's computer to not be deleted from the device it was connected to after exiting the game, potentially causing duplicates.

- When reactivating the ethernet card or starting the game, it correctly connects to the ISP network using the last data used instead of the forced IP and gateway addresses 192.168.0.2 and 192.168.0.1, respectively.

- Fixed bug that prevented the creation of email accounts for NPCs related to a hidden or karma mission.

- Fixed bug that caused repeated information to be added to the UI when using connect_ethernet from the ISP multiple times.

Misc:
-Added a camera shake intensity slider to the settings menu (which is in the pause menu);
-Tanks now smoke and burn when badly damaged, like cars in the game do;
-Player driven tanks now sink in the ocean;
-Added tank tread sounds to tanks when the player is driving them;
-Added driveable tanks to 3 of the military outposts;
-Made a new material for the rock platforms from the tutorial island, which were completely flat;

Bug and Mistake Fixes:
-Enemy homing missiles not exploding when colliding with player driven vehicles;
-Tank driving inputs not being able to be remapped;
-Some tanks being lit incorrectly, looking much darker than intended;
-Player hair visible when inside a tank, and player driven tank being lit incorrectly;
-Player footsteps playing after pausing and then unpausing the game while driving a tank;
-New cave dungeon not counting towards the completion of the cave dungeons Steam achievement;
-My arena system breaks if the player beats a difficulty and then attempts to play the same difficulty again in the same session. I addressed this issue by preventing the player from attempting to play the same difficulty after they've beaten it during the same session. However, if you return to the main menu and reload the game, you'll be able to play the same difficulty again;

Now that the major implementation of controller support has been completed,
our next step is to implement the screens that are still pending.
First, we are planning to implement a tutorial screen where you can access various game tips.

Oh, by the way, when we implemented controller support, it worked perfectly on the Steam Deck, and I was really surprised!
I was talking with the team members about whether we should do something specifically for the Steam Deck, so I'm glad it's working well.
If you have a Steam Deck, I'd love to hear your thoughts on how it feels to play and your overall experience!

We have received many requests for adding and customizing BGM (Background Music),
but unfortunately, at this moment, we cannot implement these changes.

However, if we can get more people to play Logiart Grimoire,
