Important announcement regarding pricing
We've got some important news to share with all of you, and we want to ensure you understand our decision's reasoning. At Fika, our commitment has always been to deliver the ultimate Ship of Fools experience, and we've poured our hearts and countless hours into achieving that goal. Over the past year, we've continuously released free content to make our game the best it can be.
Now, after careful consideration and extensive discussions, we've concluded that our game has evolved to a point where it deserves a price that truly reflects the dedication and hard work we've invested.
Starting from October 6th, we will be adjusting the price of Ship of Fools from $14.99 to $21.99 USD / €14.99 to €21.99. Regional equivalents and console pricing may vary. We understand that change can be unsettling, especially for our early adopters who have been with us from the beginning. But please rest assured that we have your best interests at heart. We are committed to ensuring that you, our fans, are not impacted in any way by this price adjustment. The upcoming Fish and Ships update is still free of charge and to make this as smooth as possible, we’ve announced this in advance while the game is on sale, so you have the perfect opportunity to go and purchase Ship of Fools now if you haven’t yet or pick up a copy for a friend.

Fish & Ships SPOILER ALERT!
Now it’s time for some EXCITING news! Fish & Ships is around the corner, and Stormstrider’s time is over! Let me introduce you to the Wavehulk!
The Wavehulk is a masterpiece of engineering, and it’s the first new boat provided by Otto the shipwright. With its upgraded hull, you’ll be able to carry one additional cargo at the expense of a less optimized pedestal placement.
The Wavehulk comes equipped with 2 new unique items that synergize with each other and will shape many new run strategies.
The Foundry The Foundry is a mystical device designed for converting trinkets into artifacts! Artifacts produced by The Foundry distribute the trinket’s power they hold to every player. Here's how it works:
Solo Play:
When playing solo, The Foundry will transform 1 trinket into 2 artifacts. This sorcery is stronger than any of Halga’s soups.
But keep in mind you need enough cargo space to place both artifacts on your pedestals.
Co-op Play:
In co-op mode, the Foundry operates slightly differently. It simply transforms one trinket into an artifact.
The exciting part here is that both players can enjoy the benefits of the trinket's power once it's transformed into an artifact.
So, whether sailing solo or with a crew, the Foundry is your go-to place for turning humble trinkets into mighty artifacts!
Metal Scraps At first glance, metal scraps may not seem very impressive, but they can become quite powerful as you collect more artifacts for your boat! The Metal Scraps projectile gains an extra 2 damage for every artifact you have in play. So, the more artifacts you accumulate on your ship, the stronger those seemingly humble metal scraps become, packing a more significant punch!
Let’s see it in action! Are you ready to get crazy! Here’s an example with a brand new trinket: Shuriken!
In the same way The Beacon on the Stormstrider is activated, you first need to power up The Foundry using a Tendril.
Once powered, take any trinket you want and place it inside The Foundry. Maybe some trinkets act differently once turned into artifacts… who knows?
TA-DA! See those artifacts? They carry the same power as the trinket, but in artifact form benefiting every player. As you can see, in this case, the player goes solo and turns one Shuriken trinket into 2 Shuriken artifacts, allowing them to shoot 2 additional projectiles with each shot! Since those trinkets are now artifacts, it also increases the Metal Scraps' power! PRETTY COOL RIGHT?
There is a loot collector in all of us, and this boat perfectly fills this primal need. Will you go all-in on artifact tiles and become richer than Briny? Or you'll aim to be the trinket duplication kingpin, filling your ship with more bling than a disco ball. And let's not forget, with that shiny metal coating, you'll hit the fashion peaks no one even knew existed! The Wavehulk is like a buffet of build possibilities, and trust us, you won't leave hungry for adventure!

BattleJuice Alchemist is a complex alchemy RPG that adds an equipment-based skill system to the classic aRPG formula. Focus on top-down combat or opt for JRPG-style one-on-one fights. Explore the wilderness, learn ritual magic, and craft potions to fight demonic hordes overrunning the lands.
Juice, the alchemist, is called to Caribou Creek to fight the demons that roam the lands. As your unique version of Juice, you explore the wilderness that once was New England. Fight evil in classic action RPG isometric top-down view and in bullet-time close combat.
Find and craft items with game-changing powers. Master BattleJuice Alchemist’s deck-building mechanics by arranging your compilation of flasks to suit your playstyle. Accentuate your character beyond character customization by using ritual magic as long-term buffs. Meet strange creatures from the Crossroads while the dark plot of BattleJuice Alchemist unravels.
UNIQUE ITEMS AND CHARACTER BUILDS
Loot and Craft: As an alchemist you wear no armor and wield no sword, but you rain down fire on your enemies. Find flasks with unique properties in the wilderness or craft them at your workbench. In deck-building fashion you create a compilation of flasks which you randomly draw from.
Unique Skill System: In BattleJuice Alchemist, your flasks are your skills. Every flask can be used the normal way and at times in a supercharged, "jucified" way for stronger effects. Some flasks have powers attached to them that drastically change their effects when used, which allows you to develop your own playstyle.
EXPLORE A DARK WORLD
Procedural Landscapes, Hand-crafted Towns: The world of BattleJuice Alchemist is separated into vast levels of procedural landscape. Every valley, sea, river, mountain, building, stone, tree and item is placed by a unique algorithm. This allows you to continue exploring after you completed the main story. Quest locations are still hand-crafted to tell compelling stories.
Dark Lands to Discover: You are influenced by daytime and weather effects and so are your enemies. But they are also buffed by the evermore spawning demons’ presence. Find dark altars to hold their influence at bay and discover many other secrets.
ENGAGING COMBAT
Classic isometric ARPG action: Fight your enemies from afar in classic top down view. Throw explosive or freezing flasks at them, prepare ambushes of explosive barrels. Use the “Frog Hop” flask to jump away from danger or right into close combat.
Close Combat with Bullet-time: Enter close combat with an enemy, where you can interact hands on by dodging or using smoke flasks to avoid being hit. Manage your resources and flasks during these intense one on one battles against your awe-inspiring enemies from the Crossroads.

The monsters of Guy's world, who are tired of the constant hunting for them, continue their riot! Templar Guild intelligence reports: the monsters are planning a new attack on the already suspicious Horizon! The smuggler of the Nostra clan managed to overhear their plot again, and this is what he told!
The attack will take place this Friday at the Horizon field:

The energy of the dead monsters will increase the server buff this weekend: each killed Reviak will increase the level of the "Necromancer's Power" buff (+0.5% to all characteristics) by 1! And of course, the defenders of the city will be able to get loot from the bosses!
Essence Finder! You can now enable the linked Essence Finder near an Essence Rock. When active, items with a locked essence significantly increase their likelihood to spawn during a run.
