Brand New Content

Limited-time Event: Mythic Scrolls
The scroll paintings stand majestic, each depicting a scene of natural beauty.

Event Time: From Sep 27, 2023 Update to Oct 18, 2023 at 20:00 (UTC)

Event Rules:
There are 8 Scrolls which will open as time progresses. Once open, players can complete the Scroll Quests to get Lunar Essence and other rewards. During the event, all quests are permanently valid and will not reset.

Hero Adjustments

I. Zai
Adjustments made to the Ultimate [Chain Scythe: Suppress] with the move [Chain Link: Suppress] are as follows:
  1. Optimized enemy reactions when hit by the move.
  2. Slightly reduced the interval between strikes.
  3. Reduced the stagger time after the last strike hits.
Weapon Adjustments

I. Spear/Staff
New Mechanism: Congeneric Skill of Spear and Staff is now available.

II. Staff
Reduced damage multiplier of Staff's Counterstrike Combo from 3.22 * 2 to 1.30 + 5.14.
(Showdown mode excluded)

Combat Adjustments

Moderately reduced the Disengage points granted by hits from Grappling Hook and Scale Rush.

Feature Optimizations

I. Adjusted the interaction priority of mechanisms and interactive objects to avoid conflicts with dropped items.

II. Capture the Spirit Well
Added a mini-map warning before the Flag respawns in Capture the Flag Challenge, and the Flag will respawn in random locations.

Out-game Adjustments

Ref Spectate Optimizations
Expanded the original options in Settings - Game - Ref Spectate - See-through of Free Roam to include Free Roam/Camera Follow See-through.

II. Custom Match Adjustments
The Omni's Nightmare mode will be temporarily removed from the Custom Room.

III. Fairyland Penglai Optimizations
Added a quick interaction feature to view target player info with one tap.

IV. The Hero Returns Event is Now Permanent
  • If a player has been offline for over 14 days, The Hero Returns event will be initiated upon login.
  • Obtain Rebirth Seals by being online for a certain duration or completing given event quests, which can be exchanged for various rare Collections.
  • During the event, players can view changes made to each Hero during their absence in the Hero interface to have a quicker grasp of the adjustments.
V. Free Training Adjustments
  • The style of the Free Training menu has been changed.
  • Ally Bots are now listed as an independent option.
VI. Rotating Mode
Rotating mode is available again! The modes ready to be rotated are Shadow Surge (Morus Isle) and Capture the Spirit Well.

VIII. Star-Collections
Tessa exclusive Star-Collection [Star - Nine Tailed Destiny] will be available for trade from Oct 1st, 2023 at 02:00 (UTC). Players can then trade this outfit in Steam Market.

The following Daily Quests can currently be completed in the Showdown mode:
  • Travel 500m using the Grappling Hook.
  • Hit 8 enemies with the Grappling Hook.
  • Travel 2,000m.
  • Deal 2,000 damage with melee weapons.
  • Deal 1,000 damage with ranged weapons.
Daily Quests will automatically refresh after the update.

X. Deluxe Edition and Ultimate Edition have been removed
From October 1, 2023, the Deluxe and Ultimate editions will be removed from in-game store. Rewards that come with the Deluxe and Ultimate editions (such as Spear Legendary Skin [White Viper], Legendary Accessory [Aroma] and the Matari's Extreme Outfit [Flawless Elegance) will also be temporarily unavailable.

We will strive to bring more season packs in the future which will not only upgrade the game edition but also grant players with more Gold, Treasure, exclusive outfits and items as rewards. Thank you for your understanding and support as always.

This Patch includes updates and fixes for the 2023 Season 4 Release, including the new Super Formula SF23 Honda model version!


iRACING: (8.39.0)
--------------------------------------------------------------
General
All tables displayed throughout iRacing have been updated so that they always show the most important and relevant information regardless of the iRacing window width.
- - This means the most important information for all tables will remain, even if the iRacing window is extremely narrow. Also, as window width increases, a logical priority of additional columns will be added to the user's view while maintaining optimal legibility and column width.
- - This also means some items are no longer visible at some breakpoints. Typically this information is available by either making the UI wider, decreasing the scale, or clicking on a row to open the relevant menu.
Logic added to prevent the Updater from being launched more than once, even if Update is clicked multiple times.
- - This should prevent users from getting into a state where they need to manually execute the iRacingUpdater.tmp.exe in order to complete the update process.
Fixed an issue that could cause iRacing to fail to load when freshly installed and using a screen resolution of 1920x1080 or smaller.
Fixed an issue that could cause iRacing to fail to refresh when Maintenance mode ended.

Results
An event log table is now available on the Results screen.
- - It appears below the Results table and displays the lap number, time, and event description. It also includes checkboxes that highlight the associated rows in the table when selected.
- - There is another update coming to improve the behavior of the "Highlight By Event" selection to allow it to work for big, some might say “Special”, events.

SIMULATION:

Race Control
Fixed an issue where some Drive Through Penalties were behaving like Stop-and-Go Penalties.
Fixed an issue that could allow the “Ready to Race” button to appear when a registered driver was already in the final Session of an event, and there were no additional Sessions for which to be ready.

Graphics
Fixed an issue that could cause older track surfaces to appear extra shiny.
Fixed an issue where car paints could shuffle onto incorrect cars when a Session’s video memory requirements greatly exceeded the GPU’s dedicated RAM. For example, when running a very large session on an older GPU. In this case, texture quality needed to be reduced to fit the Session into video memory, and that was interfering with the Simulation’s car paint management.
Fixed an issue where the Simulation only supported 44 paint jobs if the user’s GPU VRAM allocation was set to less than one gigabyte in the Graphics Options. So if the field was more than 44 cars and the GPU was older, some of the cars would remain unpainted.
Fixed an issue where if a car in a Session had an invalid paint scheme or invalid paint files, it could cause other cars to appear untextured or white.
Fixed an issue where if there was a car visible in the world, but the previous driver had exited the car, the car would not repaint until a driver got back into the car.

Audio
The selection order for the Driver Audio Filters have been reorganized in order of intensity.
Fixed an issue that was causing extra static sounds in the Spotter/Crew Chief and Voice Chat channels.

Spotter - Crew Chief
Requested damage report calls will now be received regardless of the chattiness level.

The Russian Dmitry Eniseev spotter pack has been updated.

We have focused on gameplay updates and bug fixes based on our knowledge and community feedback since our first update.

  • The general lighting of Galata has been corrected.

The perfect habitat
In Deep Freeze you gain access to a new style of tank: The abyssal tank!



These tanks are designed to recreate the conditions found in the abyssal zone so that your creatures feel right at home.

The cost of science
But there's a catch. For the first time in Megaquarium history, these tanks consume science points.



But remember, science points are also used to unlock new equipment. Build too many abyssal tanks and you'll find your research progressing at a sea snail's pace!

Observe closely
Another Megaquarium first! Many abyssal creatures require observation, some as often as every single day.



This means some animals need to be fed, observed and given a supplement in a single day. Thankfully there are some accessories that can help with this - more on that another time!

Filter feeders
On the bottom of the ocean, under 3000m of water, there's not enough light for plants to survive. In this region, carnivorous corals thrive, lending crucial aquascaping and decoration to your tanks.



The monstrous Bubblegum Coral grows to 3m tall and needs a constant supply of live mysis shrimp to keep it fed!

Burdensome beasts
You'll only have access to abyssal animals in limited numbers, and that might be a good thing! They need high water quality, have awkward compatibility issues, tricky tank requirements and many eat nothing but live food!



However, if you manage to build a collection and look after them well, they'll reward you and your guests with a show like no other!

Hello adventurers!

We have a lot of news so it’s highly recommended to grab a cup of your favourite drink before you start reading. There are tons of new and cool stuff packed in this announcement. Let’s get started!



First and foremost our new DLC — Adventureland. Mark the date: 03.10.2023 (October 3rd, 2023). That’s when Adventureland will launch for all players around the globe. Release time will be announced at a later date. The base price is $2,99/€2,99 with a 10% launch discount and an additional 5% loyalty discount for all owners of the base game.

Adventureland unlocks a whole new entertainment industry for you to use and enjoy. Build your own amusement park with 7 unique attractions and interact with your visitors like never before. Decorate your park, build pavements, add fancy lights and plants. The fancier, the better: your level of decoration will directly impact the profits your park brings. We can’t wait to see all your creations!

The best of all is that unlike the first DLC, Adventureland doesn’t need a new save game to function — you can jump straight into new stuff without any worries. Another cool thing is how we implemented co-op mode: only the host needs to own the DLC. The second player can join the game without their own copy and still enjoy all new content for free.

Next we’d like to talk about Quality of Life and Beach Resort. We had a ton of requests from our dear community and we are excited to reveal what will be arriving as part of the upcoming free update. Very important: all new Quality of Life features will be available on PC first and come to consoles at a later date. The reason for that is certification. If we add all these new features right now, it would postpone the release by another 1.5-2 months. We don’t want this to happen, so we will add everything later in a free DLC or an update, whichever we can release quicker. We hope you understand.

New Quality of Life features list:
  • The tech is here: now you can create buildings without moving resources to your character’s inventory;
  • Players and tourists can sit on the chairs;

  • We removed lightning strike effect during rain to improve performance;
  • We’ve changed how museum stores items to adjust for better text fonts;
  • Option to invert the scroll wheel direction on the item hotbar.
You thought that’s it? NO! We have a few more exciting things to announce. Next up: New Story.

In the second half of November (final date TBA), we will release another big update that will bring a brand new main storyline and an updated side quest system in Spirit of the Island. We’ve completely reworked the story, but don’t want to spoil anything, so you’ll have to wait and see everything for yourself later. Important: to play the new story, you will need to create a new savegame, because it is so different from the old one that they cannot be merged together.

Together with the new story, we will bring a second round of highly requested Quality of Life changes, which are taking a bit longer to implement:
  • Inventory drag and drop for items;
  • New items, such as beach umbrellas, chairs, and other new decorative items for the tourists.
Together with the new story, we’ll also add Japanese translations and we will preserve the old storyline in all available languages. With that, you will be able to enjoy both old and new storylines and keep your savegame. We’ll also add an option to choose between old and new story modes when you start a new game, so all new players can try both and compare. For your very first playthrough, we are strongly recommending picking the new one though.

However, as time marches on, technology advances, and gaming standards reach new heights.
It has become increasingly difficult for us to ensure the best possible gaming experience for players of the classic edition of Ticket to Ride.
The engine on which the game runs was specifically developed for it, with its own technology - an engine which is not supported anymore by any of the platforms you can play the game on.
Thus, it makes it impossible to create new content for the game, to make any significant updates or ensure the game's stability.

This new game will be a reimagining of the classic edition that you've come to love. While we recognize that change can be bittersweet, we're confident that the new version will captivate you with its enhanced features, modern design, and even more immersive gameplay.
It will be releasing on Steam in November 2023, with the other platforms coming out in 2024.

What about the current version?

The current version developed by Days of Wonder will be rebranded “Ticket to Ride: Classic Edition” in every store where the game is currently available.
It is important to note that this version of the game will be removed from all the stores from the 3rd of October, and in-app purchases, such as acquiring new maps, will no longer be possible.

While Ticket to Ride: Classic Edition will no longer be available for download from October 3rd, current owners will retain access to the game in their game library and can continue enjoying it without interruption. This change ensures that players who already possess the game and DLCs can play and experience the joy of Ticket to Ride: Classic Edition even after the version becomes unavailable for new downloads.

How is the new edition of Ticket to Ride going to differ from the current Ticket to Ride: Classic Edition?
The game is being made by Marmalade Game Studio with a modern engine and a number of new features and improvements on top of your classic Ticket to Ride experience.

Can I still play the original "Ticket to Ride: Classic Edition" after it's removed?
Yes, you will always be able to play the game in solo mode as long as it remains in your library. On the other hand, online multiplayer will be available for a few more months as we will keep the servers running for a last nostalgia ride!

On iOS, due to the store limitations and exclusively on this platform, if you uninstall the game, you will be unable to install it again afterward.

Is there a way to migrate my progress to the new game?

This major update will unlock the fourth area of the game as planned: the Chasm of Darkness, while releasing the final boss and the final plot of the game as well. The specific updates are as follows:

Open the Chasm of Darkness Region
Defeat Boss Fear in the Sea of Fear and jump from the abyss to reach it. Release the boss Dark Twin, as well as over 10 new monsters/animals, and corresponding resources/craft recipes, etc. Add 6 new achievements related to the fourth region.

Final Boss Battle
After defeating all four regional bosses, you can reach it from the Dream Altar. Defeating the boss will trigger the final plot, and there will be different endings based on the previous game progress.

Modification of minor content
Some monsters, objects, and some visuals adjustments.
