We can finally say it - we’re really on the homestretch of the 1.0 release! 🥹 And we’re getting close to Haversack Hill - the Story Mode will be available for everyone to playtest on our public testing branch in October. Hello Colonels and Polkovniks.

In case you missed the live broadcast, our stream featuring SgtZDog and developer Jeff Sugden is now live on the Matrix Games Youtube channel. As a companion to our tutorial video series, the devs livestreamed a scenario and went into depth on the does and dont's of reconnaissance, scouting, and the role of cavalry on the cold war battlefield.

With many service veterans on the team, we really took a deep dive into Cold War mechanized tactics. We also covered the lessons and doctrine that were actually taught in the 1980's as components of AirLand battle.

A lot was made for the last months.
The game got UI, saves, settings.
In-game content was updated with new buildings like Farms, Gardens, Fishing Huts.
Though, i had to cut "Adventures" for now, because the base mechanics were not ready to normally integrate it.

Last weeks were spent for fixing major bugs that occured with regress/save and load. Thanks to the community in Discord, they really helped a lot

Yesterday i have added Achievements to Steam, and update those that are in-game

I'll create a nice roadmap in near future, but for now it looks like:

• New buildings for better resource usefullness, like Tavern
  
• New minigames - i really want to make "Mine Kart Racing League"
  
• Inventory system for Items, that will be usefull for the "Adventure"

That's the core points of future plan.

Also, there were added localizations, so i would be grateful for feedback and response about languages other than English.

In the end i want to thank everyone who played the demo, joined discord, posted in community hub and made videos - all those actions helped a lot.

We had a pretty long journey and have a longer one in the future!

The latest build adds in Tool Tips for Equipment, Items and Staff types.

There is also the addition of two graphs, one to show how many of each Equipment type you have in your Gym and another to show what the Equipment types the Clients are interested in. Helping you decide what Equipment to buy for the type of Gym you want to build.
