Bugfixes: General bugfixes _______________
With this patch Steam Leaderboards have been integrated into the game. It will not be retroactive, to submit a time to the leaderboard you must recomplete the level in question. There may be some bugginess introduced if you have previously completed a level before this update while online, completing the level and having a score submitted should fix this.
The leaderboards only compare you with your friend's scores. There's, unfortunately, no great way for me to prevent cheating currently, so limiting the leaderboards in this way will hopefully keep it interesting for the people you play with and you. You can view the full leaderboard for each level in the Steam community area. This could be changed depending on feedback.
The scores recorded directly on the leaderboard are recorded as centi-seconds and the score for Endless mode is recorded as meters.

Greetings gladiators!
As many of you know, I'm taking a (hopefully well earned) break from the long running Swords and Sandals series to recharge and restore my creative capital. I am definitely keen to return bigger and better than ever with more gladiatorial action in the next few years, but until them I've been working away at another game dev project since May this year.
Behold, Gorgon Shield! This is an idea I've been sitting on for nearly a decade. Imagine if you will, four heroes climbing a tower on a shield. For much of the game, you don't control the heroes directly, instead you rotate the shield. If your barbarian faces the Melee platform, they will automatically attack. Face the healing platform and they will heal, and so on. YOU must manage these heroes in ever-more challenging situations as the tower rises.
Waves of enemies throw themselves at you, you will encounter mysterious NPCs, shops and scenarios that could be the difference between a successful run and the shield collapsing into ruin.
But that's not all. Expect top down dungeon crawling where you control up to FOUR heroes at once. Side scrolling auto-battling against the relentless creatures of Greek mythology. And much more. It's rogue-lite gameplay meets puzzle action, RPG lite, fast paced action.
I'm confident you've never seen anything quite like this.

We are currently working on various construction sites in the game. We've been working on new lighting effects lately, changing objects as you requested and new event assets.
We are currently planning to develop a weather system. It is not yet clear whether we will develop the weather system dynamically or statically. We will decide that in the first test.

Solium Infernum will have a Demo available at the upcoming Steam Next Fest!
We are so, so excited to show off the improvements we've made after Playtesting. Your voices have been fundamental in the iterations of SI, and shaping how the game looks and feels so far!
There are a few important things to note:
The Next Fest Demo is planned to be Singleplayer.
The usual caveat that is: there will be some features that are not yet fully implemented, or that have been adjusted because of the parameters of the Demo itself.
In addition, to celebrate Next Fest, we're hosting two very exciting streams with our Dev Team..

The first is our Let's Play featuring Trent (Studio Director, Co-Founder of LoG) and Chan (Community Manager), which will be LIVE right here on Steam at 2pm Pacific Time on Monday, the 9th of October!

IFSS has improved the quality of graphics by using unreal engine 5, the latest game engine. Actually, the value we pursue the most is "ENV graphic", and we got a lot of changes during development.

At first, only graphic artists gathered together and work on environment(ENV) without a development team. So the game was poorly optimized and unplayable as we've focused only on 'high quality graphics.

However, after large number of testing and hard work by out team members throughout the one-year development period, Finally we have implemented a playable background with beautiful graphics.
It is still far from enough. In order to show improvements not only in graphics but also in optimization and level design, Our team members are continuously developing day and night.
Also, the island is consist of beautiful nature spaces. Hidden treasures and sections with beautiful scenery add to the fun of exploring the island.
Architecture
You can build a base using the free construction system within IFSS. Gather materials and build your own home to survive on the island.
A variety of furniture is also available. Making a comfortable bed can also help you survive.
Crafting Items
We cannot leave out the weapons and armor that can be made through the workbench. There are numerous items with various performances and personalities available in the game.
When night falls on the island, cursed castaways come to attack you. You should hold on tight by using a strong base and traps.

As you become stronger, monsters may also appear in newer and stronger forms.
In order to preserve the charm of defense games, We have prepared a variety of traps to exterminate monsters.
If you get a clue from the island's secrets....
You can also use ancient knowledge to build stronger traps!
▲ Each trap should be fueled directly to be used. but if you use 'Gemstone', you can control multiple traps from one center.
If you design your traps carefully, you can efficiently defeat hordes of monsters.

There are different beings all over the island, which we've never met so far. They lost their human form and gained greater power through the stronger power of the curse.
What reward awaits you when you defeat the boss? In addition to the two of them, various bosses will be constantly updated.

Our team wanted players to play the game with characters they've custimized. So we added customizing system.

Our team aims to produce flawless dishes no matter what recipe we use. More than 40 dishes are being added.
