Fixed: Sound bug which caused the bullet sound effects to overshadow the sound of SLASH the boss.

Optimization: In Chapter 4, the third-last phase of the second boss has been slightly adjusted, the laser attack, to provide a healthier challenge.

Optimization: In Chapter 3, during the third phase with the Simulant - Thousand Faces, the collision center of the orange gears has been reduced.

Optimization: Minor tweaks have been made to the "Samurai Extra" in Chapter 3, making it better.

Toge Productions is proud to present our premiere offline demo showcase of Whisper Mountain Outbreak for the first time at LEVEL UP Kuala Lumpur 2023. We are opening a booth that will showcase the co-op gameplay of Whisper Mountain Outbreak and several of our games.

LEVEL UP KL is an annual game developer conference focusing on an exclusive showcase surrounding the Southeast Asia ecosystem to provide a platform for creators in the game industry. We are excited to showcase our progress to the public for the first time. Some of us from the Toge Productions crew will attend the event, so be sure to drop by!

Whisper Mountain Outbreak is an isometric co-op PvE multiplayer survival horror game where you can work alone or together to escape the outbreak. Set in the late 90's, after a mining operation gone wrong, a curse is released and affects everyone living near it. An outbreak was unexpected; as one of the few, you must survive and uncover the secrets behind the incident.

Explore various locations, scavenge resources, solve environmental puzzles, and discover a way to escape the whispering madness. Stay vigilant, don't give in to the whispers, fight off the eldritch horrors, and solve the cause before time runs out.

It's been 15 days since the release of the major update. During this time we have added a lot of interesting things to the game, namely:
1. Added 19 new quests and new NPCs.
2. Added the ability to fish in lakes and 5 types of fish.
You will need to buy a rod from a fisherman near the lake.





3. Added new locations: "At the Fortune Teller's". "Railroad station" (with its own quest), "Kindergarten" with quests from Julia.



4. Added 11 new recipes.



5. Added the ability to buy geese.



6. Improved sawing of timbers: now you don't have to saw timbers one by one, but can specify the number of timbers at once.
7. After completing quests from NPCs, these NPCs will be doing their own things, not just walking around the village.



8. The game has Photo Mode, you can run it on the P button and take beautiful screenshots.
9. Added more Buchanoks.
10. Added two granny vendors at the "Theme Park" location.




11. Some of the items have had their balance changed.
12. Animals now cost more.



13. Added the ability to grow beets.
14. Added 17 achievements.
15. Added an extra clip on TV.
16. Added 11 new tracks. Now there are 32 of them in the game. All tracks are written from scratch specifically for our game.
16. Fixed the clothes of some NPCs.
17. If you linger in the menu, you will be waiting for various animated references.



18. And other minor changes and improvements.

We still have a lot of different improvements and updates in the plans. But the fate of the game depends solely on the activity of players.

For those who started the game in early access we recommend starting the game over to avoid the problems that were in the old patches.

GREAT news for fans of REMEDIUM: Sentinels! The game has just received a long-awaited and crucial update that players have been eagerly anticipating. The highlight of this update is the introduction of the "Dash" feature, a highly requested addition that promises to revolutionize gameplay!



The "Dash" feature can be activated by pressing Shift or X, allowing players to perform lightning-fast dashes, enhancing mobility, and opening up new strategic possibilities. This addition not only accelerates the pace of the game but also adds depth to the gameplay.



In addition to the "Dash" feature, the game has migrated to Unreal Engine 5.3. While this change may not be immediately noticeable, it sets the stage for future improvements and optimizations.

One notable adjustment is the rebalancing of the difficulty in Berserk Mode, making it even more challenging for players seeking an adrenaline-fueled experience. To accommodate this increased difficulty, score points have been doubled, rewarding players who dare to take on the heightened challenges.

I've noticed there's been a lot of misconceptions/confusion around our plans for the game's future, so I want to take a moment to clear up some things that are being said:

Will the rest of the chapters be free?

Every chapter releasing after Chapter 1 will NOT be free, however, there will be an option for you to buy them all early which is what we call the "All Chapters DLC" This DLC is not available yet simply because we want to wait and see how long Chapter 2 takes to develop to give you guys a general idea of how long it takes for each chapter to release.

Will Chapter 1 ever be free?

No, Chapter 1 was released as a paid product and will still remain as such, making Chapter 1 free would be unfair for previous players who already bought the base game. If a store ever approaches us with a deal to make the game free for a limited time, that's on them.

How long will each chapter take to develop?

We would love to give you a clear answer on this, but the reality is that we don't know. Our team is really small at the moment, I, Pichon, do the programming, art, music, and almost everything about the game, and it is not an easy process. Chapter 1 took us almost a year to develop due a lack of organization and planning, but now that we actually know what we're doing, I expect later chapters to take us less time, but we'll just have to wait and see.

Besides the "All Chapters DLC", will we be able to purchase chapters individually?

Upcoming chapters will be released individually as separate applications, however if you want to receive them as updates, you must purchase the "All Chapters DLC"

Will each chapter be $6.99 each?

We currently plan on releasing every chapter for the same price as the base game.

Will the story of the game change depending on what players are saying?

No, the game's story has been already planned in its entirety, we know what happens from here to the last chapter, and we will not be making any changes to the story throughout the development of this game.

When will Chapter 2 begin development?

Chapter 2 has already begun development, In fact, we're actually 20% done already. Expect more news about Chapter 2 soon.

Will there be any post-game content?

We have plans to expand the game in terms of post-game content, especially for replay value. We can't go into details yet, but expect more ways to replay the game later down the line.

Will the game release on consoles?

It is something that we would love to do, but it's still in the planning stages, we will let you know if anything's confirmed.

Why does Skye look different in most of the promotional art for the game?

Skye goes through a lot in this game, we know you have many questions about her and trust me, they will all be answered soon.

Will you ever make merchandise for the game?

Merchandise is something that we're totally down for, but it's not something we're currently working on. We also don't want merchandise to slow down development time, so anything we end up doing must be something that takes us enough time to still work on the game.

Why did the game go through so many changes in pricing before release?

While developing this game, we were still figuring out ways we could distribute it, in the past we've said a lot of different things we want to do but never said what we actually decided on. As someone who had not received any type of funding to develop this game, I was very uncertain about a lot of things, heck, I didn't even know if people would like this game when it released. You might find some old posts here or on different platforms of us saying the game will be released in a certain way or that it'll have this price or that, but I hope this post can clear all the confusion now.

Again, I apologize for all the confusion, and I hope you look forward to the next chapter. Thank you all for your amazing support these past few days, we know this has only just begun, but I'm really happy with how everything has turned out.
