After a short delay to squash a bunch of bugs found in closed testing, we are finally ready to share the first look at the hotly-anticipated Ellisbury Update with everyone!

As the Ellisbury Update is entering into the open beta phase, this will be an opt-in event. You can opt in to the Ellisbury Update open beta with the following steps:

  1. Right-click on Automation in your Steam library, and go to Properties.
  2. Go to the Betas tab.
  3. From the Beta Participation dropdown, choose openbeta - Ellisbury Update Open Beta

Allow Automation to update, then launch the game!

Compatibility Note: All Sandbox Mode cars made in LCV4.2 will be compatible with the Ellisbury Update, but some minor adjustments to engines and transmissions specifically will be needed for them to perform at their full potential with the new update. All Steam Workshop mod content from LCV4.2 is fully compatible with the Ellisbury Update.

What's Next?

The immediate task at hand for us is to take the vast amount of questions, comments and inevitable bug reports generated in the open beta phase. We'll provide regular patches working towards the full public release. After an inevitably busy first one or two weeks, our team will start to partially shift some focus toward the second milestone of the Supercharger Update, the Al-Rilma Update. More news on that in the not-too-distant future!

Focus of this update has been on tweaking the enemies/difficulty for later waves to avoid the session going on forever.

Which brings us to a very important first poll I'd like to make about endless: what do you like about endless?

The previous version with 10 waves was definitely too short and difficulty was not ramping up enough towards the final waves, current version does a better job up to the 20th wave, for those of you that go beyond that: at which point do you think the game gets hard enough to be satisfied with the run? (better to check out v0.91 first to answer this)

The reason I'm asking is because I'm thinking of going back to a finite amount of waves/stages, the more answers I get the more informed the final decision will be ๐Ÿ™

Bug Blazer Playtest - xysaph
  • Added auto triggering of attractor and call of the void
  • In settings there are 2 more options to select as auto attractor or auto cotv
  • Selecting either of those will only trigger the special power if the weapon has 1 and is capable of activating.
  • If you keep it in manual mode activating by clicking the button or using the hotkey you set will set them off too.

Ascended Survivor - Autistic Cat
Hello friends and fans, I'm sure many of you are eagerly awaiting the launch of Ascended Survivor's first episode. I did previously state that it would release in 2023, but that is looking to be very unlikely now. So much stuff has happened in my personal life that took attention away from working on AS, so that's not good.

But don't worry, good things are happening in the background! Progress on the game has been going steady, and most of the main content is finished. Episode One will release before you know it!

A new artist has also come on board the project! Sugarflow is an incredibly talented artist who has agreed to work on cutscenes and promotional material for the game. Already she's done a great job redesigning the main character.



I've also been working with another artist to remake the sprites, and they're looking amazing! More of that will be shared later.

But now, let's get to the most pressing news.



ASCENDED SURVIVOR WILL BE IN STEAM'S SHMUP FEST!

The last Steam Next Fest was such a great opportunity to grow, that I couldn't pass up the opportunity to do it again! I won't be able to stream the game this time, so I've organized something else to excite you: the Ascended Survivor demo will be updated to include an additional level! Now you will be able to experience more of the game to get a feel with it.

But be warned, once the Steam Shmup Fest ends, the extra level will become unavailable, so don't miss your chance to play it!

The demo will also be updated with brand new, exciting features for you to enjoy. Including...



The game will now save your best level completion times, your best kill counts, and the lowest amount of times you died for each level!



Not only that, The game will also grade your performance, and give you a star if you manage to master a level in a particular area!

I hope these features encourage you to play the levels again and again, to find all their secrets and master each of them!

Hey Hey so I noticed a lot of stuff went wrong with the update so this package should help fix some stuff, let's break it down.

1. I noticed things in the dialogue like the wheel and choices not showing up in the right spot, fixed that and now i'm fine tuning the ability to go to other states and come back and the story progresses so dialogue saving and game saving are on the way!

2. Noticed some people are crashing or just freezing when going to other areas or just stuck in the black screen of death. Fixed so hopefully when you travel it wont crash.

Added bandidos with bandanas to all the gangs also added yellow gangs and red. gotta finish the others and once dialogue works i can get reputations going.

Inventory is still buggy but that is fine right now farming is not a huge part of the game atm so you dont have to worry about that.

Thats a little break down. thank you for the support I know its taken a while but one man team gets the dream!
