Coin Chase - adam


So... It's been awhile since the release of the game. The process of making the game fun and re-playable is under heavy development. I'm rebuilding the game from scratch in a different game engine which is making the process a bit slower than I would have hoped for.

I updated the game with some new mechanics such as power ups and more police but something is making the game extremely laggy.

HOWEVER! The new, 2.0 version of the game will look and feel completely different. So what's in the future?

For 2.0
  • FACELIFT. The police and player cars are now more than just a pixel. Even though I loved the idea of keeping it simple, I have to admit that this is necessary. Perhaps a single pixel will be a choice in the future but right now the cars look like actual cars, in a nice pixelated way! Ever the smoke is now more than just circles created by code, its now actual sprites
  • SEVERAL POWER UP COINS. Right now the following is in place and working: Invincible, 5 points coin and freeze the police. But more are planned to be added such as: speed boost, guns, spikes and nails and more!
  • SOUNDS. New sounds reacting to the environment in a 2d space. You will hear the police chasing you literally.
  • LEVEL DESIGNER. A whole new level designer with different kinds blocks with different kinds of attributes to build with.

For 2.x
  • STORY MODE. Of course there is a reason why you are chasing coins. And even though the game is a "high-score" game like snake, pac-man or pong I love a good story and will try my best to get it into the game.
  • STORE. What to do with all the coins you collect? Customize your car and weapons of course!

For the future:
  • ONLINE MULTIPLAYER. I really hope to get some kind of online lobby where you can play against others and play your favorite maps.

The game is out and the feedback is rolling in.
We'd love to her your thoughts, anything goes, big or small.

Future content is planned to be added (without any extra cost) for this game due to popular demand:
  1. Adding postponed and cut content, there are at least a few hundred renders that were cut or postponed to get the game out, but now, we'll be able to render and add them to the story.
  2. Adding more SFX, Music, and Vocals, especially to the sex scenes.
  3. Adding more animation angles and the ability change angles of the camera during the sex scenes, and a less intrusive continue button, for a clean looping animation.
  4. Adding a Gallery page to the main menu, a Gallery will be added to the main page where you'll be able to replay all the cool animations, and see inspiring images.
  5. Adding special wallpapers of the main characters, wallpapers and special images for each of the girls will be added to the gallery.
  6. All these in addition to many bug fixes, graphical, textual, and code.

Sugar Shack - Informality
Hello everyone!

With patch 1.0.3, we are again working on fixing both bugs and adding lots of quality of Life (QoL). We hope that you will be able to enjoy the game even more.


Multiple fix with NPC/Quest:
  • Fixed Expo 67 stand not following its tile
  • Unlocked Corriveau being stuck on the docks forever after The Expo67.
  • Fixed inputs being lost for players when talking to customers that are supposed to go back to the boat
  • Fixed the Devil disappearing again to the Shadow Realm. He should not disappear ever again.
  • Fixed Blue Pigs not spawning on reload
  • Added SFX to Blue Pig
Shack and Build Mode:
  • QoL : Added visual indication to stations and furnitures (arrows and x) so players better see what is the front of the station
  • QoL : Made it so the beds can be interacted with from any angle to prevent softlocks
  • Fixed bug on the grid that prevented placement in certain area or over repairable area
  • Fix items not capable of being placed in corner when they are not squared
  • Fairy Lights can now be open and closed like a real light
  • Adjustments made to the indoor corridor to prevent baskets from getting stuck if a player throws it accidentally.
Co-op Fixes:
  • Fixed food not appearing on plates for client and host
  • Fixed Basket replication so it properly display if it is open or closed
  • Fixed UI that showed an Apple with Item Name on top of it
Other Fixes/Changes:
  • Fixed other vanishing items like evaporators, furnace, barrels, mixer.
  • Fixed mailbox that wouldn’t show old letters
  • QoL : Modified icon for Juices to be easier to recognize.
  • QoL : There is a sparkle to indicate where is the broom in the cooking quest.
  • QoL : It no longer takes 12 ovens to upgrade an 2* oven.
  • QoL : Allowed placing Antoine's tile next to mineral tiles (was only rock before).
  • Preventing trees from spawning under roads and other ground obstacles.
  • Fixed achievement for upgrading all your tools to gold and harvesting veggies.
  • Fixed buckets not being usable on reload
  • Fixed typos and other localisation issues that were giving wrong instructions.
  • Fixed tools being lost for non-host players when upgrading. Save game affected should have a default tool available.
  • Fixed crash when a client owning a Fido disconnects
  • Fixed price for maple syrup on table to give the base sell price + 5$ extra instead of just being 5$.
Other small fixes and improvements.

The Soviet invasion of Poland took place from September 17, 1939 to October 6, 1939 as part of the Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact, a secret agreement between Nazi Germany and the Soviet Union. Following the German invasion of Poland on September 1, Soviet forces, under the command of Marshal Kliment Voroshilov, crossed into eastern Poland. The invasion further divided Poland, which was already reeling from the German onslaught in the west, ultimately contributing to the country's tragic fate.


The Soviet invasion aimed to annex territories in eastern Poland, including parts of Ukraine and Belarus, under the pretext of protecting ethnic Ukrainians and Belarusians. The invasion was swift and met with minimal resistance, as the Polish military was overwhelmed by the simultaneous aggression from both Germany and the Soviet Union. The Soviet occupation of eastern Poland brought suffering and repression to the population, as the Soviets imposed their totalitarian regime, arresting and executing perceived political enemies and intellectuals.


The consequences of the Soviet invasion of Poland were profound and enduring. The eastern territories of Poland that were annexed by the Soviet Union remained under Soviet control for decades, even after World War II. The invasion further highlighted the vulnerability of smaller nations to the designs of more powerful and expansionist regimes, setting a bleak precedent for the early stages of World War II and the subsequent division of Europe.

Under A New Sun - newhorizongamestudio
Can't wait any longer to try Under A New Sun? Great news survivors! The game will participate in the Steam next fest from October 9th to 16th, 2023. Anybody can try out the demo during the event and, of course, give feedback for improvements, bugs or ideas to make the best possible game. The early access release is planned to take place very soon after the fest.

Furthermore, the game received its first elements and hints that will tell the story of Under A New Sun and its characters. These elements will be extended and further developed over time in the game's early access state. And, to capture the mood even a little more, you can find some unique items that are scattered all over the world!

If you ever find yourself clueless in game, e.g. how to sail or how to use the workstations properly, there will now be the option to open a 'Help' menu when the game is paused. It contains some basic but very helpful information about game mechanics and more.


Additional notes:
- The base-building system got extended by new pieces and a complete second tier variant, made out of bricks.

- Food will spoil over time and there is a possibility to receive food poisoning when eating raw or spoiled food.

- Some animals will poison you when encountered. The poison status can be stacked to a second level when bitten twice. Keep that in mind as it will drain your health pretty quickly!

- The weather system was updated to make the environment look more cloudy, wet and saturated while it is raining.

- Implemented coordinates and a compass shown on the player's watch.

- Added a toolrack to store and quickly access tools.

We invite all talented artists and non-artists alike to participate in this upcoming event and showcase their artistic abilities!

To participate in the contest, we kindly ask that you first complete the following Google Form here.

This form will ask for some general information, to help us better streamline the submission process.

Please note the following dates for the contest:

Access to Submission Form Period:
Starting from today 21:00 BST until Friday 29th 21:00 BST.
Ensure that you complete the Google Form within this timeframe to secure your spot as a participant.

Artwork Creation and Submission Period:
After completing the access submission form, you will have 20 days to create your artwork, and to submit it on our official contest webpage.
The submission deadline is Thursday 19th of October 21:00 BST.

Please note:
Voting will officially open to the public on Tuesday 10th of October 22:00 BST, and will remain open until Monday 30th of October 22:00 BST.

You may also choose to include a title and a small paragraph describing the inspiration behind your art piece when submitting your entry.

A total of two winners will be chosen for this year's contest.
Winners will receive the following awards:

  • Event Winner' tag on the official SCP:SL Discord.
  • SCP: SL Art Contest Winner 2023' in-game badges.
  • Their artwork will be incorporated into SCP: SL, where it can then be viewed in-game.
