We are so excited for everyone to jump into Relic Hunters Legend’s Early Access on September 25th, 2023!
Here are some game mode highlights for you to experience during Early Access!
New Game Mode: In a new game mode Asteroid Dungeon Nemesis, players can earn the best loot in the galaxy by conquering five increasingly challenging missions. Upon completing each mission, either solo or in highly cooperative multiplayer matches with up to three other Hunters, players can receive incredible limited time rewards like ultra-rare Legendary Materials, endgame Gear and Weapons, and lots of Bounty.
Friendship Adventures: Through the single player story mission Friendship Adventures, players can delve deeper into the Hunters’ stories and lore. The Early Access Launch debuts the Friendship Adventure “Keytar Hero” to unlock Raff, the team’s engineer musician, and “Ace of Hearts” for Ace, the team’s jetpacking pilot donkey.
New Relics: Three new powerful Relic weapons - the Thunder Hammer, The Cross, and The Obsidian Cat - can be uncovered and equipped to deal massive damage.
New timeline unlocked: Broken Era, with the new EPIC difficulty. Collect the new super-rare Unique Gear, a new collection of super-powerful gear pieces available on the Broken Era.
Players can continue to enjoy unlocking playable Hunters through story mode, and jump into missions either solo, with friends, or with Hunters from around the world to comb the universe for powerful loot and face off against the evil Ducans.
But it doesn’t stop there! We’ll continue to deliver content updates over the course of Early Access, including new Hunters, missions, and story content. We’ll also continue to refine the game based on player feedback.
KNOWN ISSUES
This is an in-development build of Relic Hunters Legend, so you may encounter some issues while you play. Below are some of the known issues you may encounter:
Players may get soft-locked when playing Fight Like a Rebel's first Quest, due to their weapons not working properly during this mission. Leaving the Secret Market and reentering fixes this issue.
Shift Overlay may display incorrect language in 'Rewards History' section
Cannot send Trade invitation if your system datetime isn't at the expected according to international system datetime
There are a few lines in some Story Missions that are in English even if you are playing in other languages
Sometimes Private/Public Matchmaking options won’t work as expected
Scoreboard may not show other players' custom cosmetics setup.
Game Mode Announcements are sometimes resetting when the game is paused during a match.
Game Mode Audio Announcements sometimes are playing the wrong audio clip.
World Map paths sometimes do not represent the actual map node connection state properly.
In-game map silhouettes are not visible for remote Players.
Completing Special Missions does not always track progress.
Using a melee attack as Seven has a small chance of rendering weapons non-functional.
Collecting a Legendary weapon does not complete its respective Rebel Feat until the game is restarted.
Beam weapons do not work against the Kami King’s vulnerable state.
Possible to join Private Missions via ‘Help Others’ feature under certain conditions.
‘Breaking the Silence’ is not accessible during specific circumstances.
When Raff uses Keytar Blast during her ultimate, she will swap the Keytar for her previously equipped weapon.
Pinkyy’s ‘Short Fuse’ skill won't always work as expected
When playing on ‘Energy Field’, 3rd drill will not work if at the South-Central position
Sometimes certain Faction Quests mark all MapNodes as relevant to the completion of those Quests.
Sometimes enemies are not interrupted when defeated or when crowd-controlled.
Certain Item Affixes only have their texts written in English.
Asteroid Dungeon Nemesis Greater Timeline map nodes have their graphics misaligned.
Opening the SHiFT Overlay while using Steam Deck traps the player in the SHiFT Overlay screen, forcing them to use the Steam Deck Overlay to exit the game.
It's currently possible to Level a Relic beyond Level 30. This is currently being addressed and Relics will be locked at the proper level cap. We recommend players to not spend Memories on Relics that are at Level 30 or above.
If you find bugs that aren't on this list, you can report them using the steps below! Thank you so much for being a part of our community, Hunter! ⭐
REPORTING BUGS
In-Game Bug Report Tool
If you encounter any issues while playing, there’s a handy built-in bug-reporting tool! To access it, hit F3 on your keyboard. This will automatically take a screenshot and attach it to your report, so our team knows where the issue happened.
Next, fill out the Description text box with:
What you were doing when the issue arose
What the issue (bug) was
Where you found it
For instance, if the audio suddenly cut out while playing in the Galyno Canyon stage, you would hit F3 and write:
“While playing in the Galyno Canyon stage with my party, the sound of the weapons disappeared right after I switched weapons and didn’t come back”.
Please feel free to report any bugs you encounter, no matter how simple they may seem. Each bug report is valuable information for our team and helps us make Relic Hunters Legend even better!
We are beyond excited to have Relic Hunters Legend in Early Access on September 25th. Join our Community to meet, talk, and play with other Hunters and prepare for your SUPER AWESOME adventures hunting relics and taking down the Ducans!

What We’re Working On
Thank you for your bug reports and feedback. We’re still working on addressing more issues for future patches.
Here are some things we’re currently investigating:
Progression blocker in Temporal Sanctum (offline)
Some skill projectiles are colliding with 'invisible terrain'
Transition times between scenes can be quite long.
Rarely disconnecting immediately after connecting to a new server.
Sometimes, your player model is duplicated after entering a new scene and the camera gets stuck. Portaling out to another server usually fixes this.
Rune Prisons can rarely fail to spawn an Exiled Mage.
Enemies in Arena and Monolith often do not animate properly.
Certain abilities failing to hit enemies correctly.
Swapping loot filters can cause the loot filter interface to bug out.
Textures can pile up on the ground as you load more monolith echoes, causing strange visuals and increased memory usage.
Item name lengths are now “Long” when they should be “Normal”.
We also wanted to take a moment to mention Towns. We had discovered a new bug with Towns very last minute before 0.9.2 went live, and had to quickly disable Towns again as the patch went live. As this happened last minute, we unfortunately didn't get communication out regarding needing to take Towns down again, and apologize for that. We are alongside fixing other bugs, continuing to get Towns to healthy state to get them in again, and just had an internal test for them today, so hopefully won't be too much longer.
We're currently working towards a much larger patch which we're hoping to get out next week to fix many of the reported issues. Thank you everyone for your patience, and reporting these bugs so we can get them taken care of!
What?? Is it that time again? Yes, yes it is! We have some fresh faces and some old friends along for this micropatch. Some of our recent changes affected the likes of Asher and Rune a bit too much, so they'll have to be rebalanced. We also, however, have a good collection of buffs too; some Oni, some Blobbos, and... X?
One frequent visitor to these notes that you will not see below (this time) is our favorite trickster, Finii. She has been getting a lot of magical buffs almost every patch, but they haven't been sticking. We recognized we needed to do something a bit more flashy, so she'll be getting a larger set of changes next full patch!
STRIKERS
Asher
Asher, on the wings of some bugfixes (and some intended buffs) really carved her own path. We're reducing the effectiveness her SPECIAL has in locking people down, knocking them out, and scoring. We're also taking down her Barrier Beam damage substantially; it's proven too effective as a KO tool even without Awakenings backing it.
[BUGFIX] :: Minimum stun time for the knockback is no longer .3s (unintentionally got reverted, which caused players to get locked down by the ability more)
Era
Era is battling with the best of them. We're bumping the Bewitching Beam back to better balance.
BEWITCHING BEAM [PRIMARY]
Cooldown :: 8s → 8.5s
Buff / Debuff Time :: 2.25s → 2s
Finii
If you skipped the blurb at the beginning, first of all, how dare you, second of all: bigger Finii changes are coming in a future patch!
Juliette
Juliette is the preeminent brawler at high MMRs and in tournaments. We're grounding her a bit, though she'll probably still rise from the ashes.
FLYING PHOENIX [SECONDARY]
Cooldown :: 16s → 18s
Juno
We gave players more control over Blobbos, but that unintentionally made her a bit harder to use. We're letting her Strike ‘suggestions' to Blobbos last a bit longer - and are upping her damage as well.
We might have given Obscura a bit too much power in the last micropatch. We're pulling back a bit on the range, and also pulling some power elsewhere from Unstable Anomaly to, well, stabalize it.
Max PvP Damage and Knockback Multiplier for Full Charge :: 2.25x → 2.5x
Max PvP Damage and Knockback :: 360 (+180% Power) → 400 (+200% Power)
X
It's hard to hit things with your head, even when it's a big one! We're giving X more opportunities and more payout for his difficult-to-land dashing attack.
Zentaro has been on the receiving end of a lot of buffs and then a lot of nerfs. While he is most effective (and annoying) at whittling enemies down, we're giving him some better finishing power for one of his harder to hit abilities.
Size isn't everything, but it is a VERY good stat. Like Stagger. In this case, Big Fish will remain big, but it will grant a bit less sturdiness.
Stagger :: 300 → 200
Bulk Up
Bulk Up has never been the belle of the ball. We suspect it still won't be the best in slot for most, but it should provide a better offensive contribution when you've accumulated a bunch of stagger.
Power per 100 max Stagger :: 1.5 → 1.75
Reverberation
Reverberation, like Bulk Up, grants good defense but doesn't really convert it meaningfully. We're taking a big swing here to make it live up to its promise.
Cooldown per 100 max Stagger :: .8 → 1.5
Sparks
Spark of Agility is overperforming largely due to its base stats. We're going to be pulling that back, but give better bonuses to its neighbors in Sparkington City as they are currently lackluster.
Spark of Agility
Base Speed :: 2% → 1%
Speed per Spark :: 7% → 6%
Spark of Focus
Base Cooldown Rate :: 2 → 4
Cooldown per Spark :: 10 → 12
Spark of Power
Power per Spark :: 20 -> 22
Spark of Resilience
Base Stagger :: 50 → 100
Stacks on Stacks
The pancakes have always been a staple of the meta. Lately, though, it's risen to the top of the heap. We're bumping it down to a more reasonable place, so it doesn't stack up so well against the other options.
