Okay, all our cards are on the table, it's time to listen to Riff Radio!

Early Access Patch #29 focuses on furthering stability and balance as we look towards Full Release and a new Backstage Pass! This Includes an updated card layout for added readability, a number of bug fixes and another balance pass.

We have updated the card layout to help with readability and clarity. The changes can be seen in the image below:

The cards are a little taller now to accommodate a bigger font size in the description.

• "Calming Keys" +1 protection.
  
• "Pause For Water" +1 hype and draw 1 self.
  
• "Inside Joke" no longer takes hype from opponent based on crew, +2 hype.
  
• "Hyper Jam" now exhausts, gives 3 hype for every 3 performance cards on overwrite and no longer costs 8 hype on overwrite, Upgrades "Vindictive" and "Reactive" replaced with "Speedy" and "Maintain"
  
• "Free Style Rap Verse" renamed "Free Style Verse"
  
• "Nice Note From Mum" now has all the band draw 3 cards on draw.
  
• "Free Jammin' (Guitar and Bass) upgrade "Zen" changed to give 2 hype per 3 performance cards. "Clever" upgrade on guitar removed.
  
• "Groovin' Your Heart Out" upgrade "Aggressively" removed.
  
• "Parody Jam" no longer gives any hype on overwrite.

We’re really excited to be a part of Game Devs of Color 2023 over the next week!



Making games is a dream for so many of us, but it’s also really difficult! It’s fantastic to be a part of an initiative that’s showcasing and amplifying the amazing games created by people of colour around the world.

Sharing your game that you love and have worked really hard on is a nerve wracking and scary feat for anyone! To be able to stand alongside similar people helps tackle those nerves and brings confidence and pride.



Before we started CorpoNation we were game dev hobbyists dreaming of making games full time. Seeing amazing games and the creators who looked like us behind them was a really important push that helped us have the confidence to quit our jobs and become game developers full-time.

If you’re currently dreaming of creating your own games, I’ll be giving a talk as part of the online Game Devs of Color Expo all about some of the things that have surprised me on my journey from hobbyist to full-time game developer.

Today is a special day as we are celebrating the Electrician Simulator anniversary! This is not only an occasion to celebrate, but also a moment to look back at how much we have achieved over the past year. We would like to share with you our successes and updates, both big and small, and thank you for the support we have received from our fantastic community.



Over the past year, we have been constantly working on improving the game by listening to your feedback and suggestions. Here is what we have managed to do:

• On 21 September, the game was launched with a 20% discount to celebrate reaching 9,000 community members. There was also a stream and a contest.
  
• The first patch was released in September 2022, tweaking the game and fixing minor bugs.
  
• A month later, another patch was released, taking into account the community's comments and introducing important fixes and new features. We were also present at PGA 2022, where we had some of the activities prepared for you.
  
• In November, we fixed bugs, added exciting Halloween missions and add-ons, and introduced Steam Community Items. Electrician Simulator also became on Steam Deck.
  
• Not much later, we introduced Score the Goal! - football-related content and discounted the game by 30% in the Steam Autumn Sale.
  
• In December, we added winter content, introduced a roadmap, and refreshed the Steam card.
  
• Since January, we have been focusing on community feedback and working on new features related to Valentine's Day and the new mode.
  
• In February we introduced an update with Valentine's Day decor and items.
  
• March was dedicated to perfecting the new mode that arrived in April - Endless Mode. Meanwhile, we were polishing the Smart Devices DLC.
  
• In May, Smart Devices DLC was released.
  
• In June, we ran another contest for our community and participated in the Steam Summer Sale, offering another discount.

We would like to express our immense gratitude to you, our amazing community. Your passion and dedication have been incredibly inspiring to us. It is because of you that Electrician Simulator has become what it is today.
