Decision: Red Daze - NordcurrentLabs
Hi Survivors!

We have released an experimental build for Decision: Red Daze, that fixes some issues from community suggestions, as well as some that we found ourselves during development.

To access it, please opt-in to the EXPERIMENTAL branch on Steam.

Changes:
  • Melee weapons, explosions and fire are fixed to properly damage knocked down enemies.
  • Fixed a visual bug in the Key Rebind menu after re-assigning keys.
  • Fixed a bug that prevents assigning of Shift, Ctrl and Alt keys to alternate controls.
  • Fixed a bug that removes functionality of breaking items in the workshop.
  • Fixed the bug forcing bows Phantom and Rambo to have very low drop chances.
  • The damage of the newly added top melee weapon has been increased.
  • Price for selling items and resources has been reduced to better reflect balance of the game.
  • Breaking items for resources and loot has been reduced to better reflect balance of the game.
  • The weight of loot has been reduced by 30%.
  • The amount of mutant and zombie boss shouts has been reduced.
  • Other small bugs have been fixed.

We will fully release this build once we are able to thoroughly test it on our end.

Online Lobbies

This update introduces a new feature providing support for global lobbies. You'll now be able to create and browse lobbies anyone can join, no matter which version of the game they own (e.g. the Friend's Pass, see below). These lobbies can either be private (i.e. invite-only) or public. Public lobbies will show up in the in-game server list.

Upcoming Friend's Pass

In the coming days, the Shenanigans Friend's Pass will be released, available on the steam store page. The Friend's Pass is free and will allow players who do not own the game to play with others that do own it. It supports both LAN and online lobbies, as described above. Due to technical limitations, Steam lobbies (i.e. inviting friends via Steam) are not supported for cross-play between the purchased version of the game and the Friend's Pass.

Hosting your own games, singleplayer mode and browsing public online lobbies are not available in the Friend's Pass and require the purchased full version of the game.

The server will enter the shutdown maintenance preparation phase at 21:30, and [single person mode] will not be able to log in for 30 minutes from 21:30-22.

  • 2. Fixed the condition that players need to complete Li Yan missions without carrying bags. If they cannot carry bags now, they will be removed;

  • 3. Repair tasks [domineering] that take small steps and cannot be completed for thousands of miles;

  • 4. Fixed the probability of a prop error in Luo Sixi's backpack that prevented him from moving and picking up items;

  • 5. Fix the feature of being afraid that [never washing] will cause the character to be unable to use consumable items when entering a level;

Survivor Mercs - Wolpertinger Games
Commanders, a big "thank you!" once again for helping us reproduce some nasty bugs with the bosses, spot some unobtainable unlocks, and learn some new strategies and squad builds, among many other things you suggested and brought to our attention.

We have fixed the most annoying bugs and addressed lots of balancing issues in this patch update. Of course, this is a continuous process, so please keep the feedback flowing via the Steam forums and our Discord server!

  • Fixed Bosses spawning on objects and potentially getting stuck or warping itself or your whole squad out of the arena
  • Fixed an issue where the Oilrig Boss was not dropping Blood Diamonds & loot
  • Fixed an issue with the missile and compartment speeds of PhenX
  • Fixed Genome Lab percentages displaying over 100%
  • Added “Research Complete” tag when trait was fully researched
  • Fixed unlock requirements for Binoculars and Neurotoxins that were previously unobtainable
  • Fixed removing or deleting items from your inventory when you click them in your right Storage window while you are in the “buy” menu
  • Added “Insufficient funds” tag when buying something in the Storage with empty inventory and 0 funds

Known Issues
We continue improving the game and work on fixing these issues at the moment:

  • Nubetube & Curveball sometimes re-acquire different targets and deviate partially from their attack pattern
  • When using a Gamepad, the button bindings do not show up correctly in the bunker menus.
  • Silverback can get stuck in Objective crates or sandbags and walls
  • The progression of Room Upgrades is soft-locked at a certain upgrade level since some of the components required to upgrade the rooms are not yet dropping in the map. This will only become available once additional maps go into the game with the future Early Access updates.
  • The Operations menu shows an active “Select” button while the Arctic map is still locked. Using it does not change the map, you will still play the Desert map until the Arctic map is unlocked.
  • Sounds stack when capturing objectives, spiking to uncomfortable volume levels.
  • You can get stuck in an animation when dying while using a powerup until the powerup animation ends.
  • Reaper’s gun ignores Piercing and can penetrate everything
  • Some objective sentries can spawn inside of other buildings
  • When using a Gamepad, the mouse cursor is disabled but still highlights buttons or UI elements which can disturb navigation
  • The Treasury description does not show the #% in most popups and menus


Apart from that, we are already working on the first major Early Access update. Have fun and keep that feedback coming.
