The countdown begins, Alchemists!

We figured that it was time to introduce you to our team – the hard-working peeps who've been making all of this happen.

We're actually a really small team – just 3 core developers and a writer, plus a few artists who contribute their time when they can to make sprites, environments, and all kinds of gorgeous stuff that we get to put in the game.

That core team consists of:

Sandy is our lead developer! Moonstone Island is his baby, and he's in charge of designing the game, as well as wrangling all the art, design, story, characters, Spirits, and basically everything!

Stan is our programmer, who makes sure that Moonstone Island actually works. Like the choreographer of a ballet who works entirely behind the scenes, we couldn't have made Moonstone without Stan!

Cocefi is our lead artist! His stunning pixel art style set the tone for the way Moonstone Island looks today – it used to look VERY different. Now it's super pretty, largely thanks to Cocefi's beautiful work!

...and me, of course! I'm the writer and the Community Manager. I do all the words. Like this one. And this one! And theeeese.

Style Update

INCISION - HyperDaddy

Survivors!

The blood Gods have listened to us and here we are with news from the Meat world. A few fixes, few changes, a little sneak peak into future. A happy day but also sad day.

They have said that we praised our beloved pet Kitty too much and have taken away some of her powers but fear not, as she is still our cutest little leech that got extra animation (see for yourself in the game x>). Some of our masochists have negotiated with the Gods even more powerful enemies, they are brutal, they are fast, they will use any advantage to bring you down! Now available 500% Projectile Speed and Projectile Damage! Are you ready to Die and blame the bugs for it?

Full patchnotes:

Difficulty can be set up to 500% (Dare to enter)
Fixed freeze caused by standing on falling floor after picking up Jawbreaker.

Kitty balance:

Kitty now gains +5% blood instead of +10% from gibbed enemies.
Max blood is now 150% instead of 200%
Altfire costs 20% blood instead of 15%
Primary fire still costs 10% blood, but now fires 8 bombs instead of 5.
If Kitty doesn’t have enough blood to fire it will do a small sound and animation with a text “not enough blood!” appearing on top of your screen.

Other changes:

Feral Armament will blow into pieces on second encounter
All pickables have now shiny effect.
Enemies are slightly glowing in dark (almost invisible but helps)
End of E1M3 now has special decorations and new enemies waiting near level exit.
Stoneman are properly waking up in Enemy Randomizer mode.
One of secrets received missing special effect.

Lastly, there's one more update to the game, that doesn't change the gameplay, but it sure as hell can be a feast for the eyes. As of now - enjoy the new Keyart and Steam assets:

What’s up guys! We are extremely thrilled to announce that Corpse Keeper has just been updated with some very exciting new features.

For players who can now vanquish all the bosses easily, it’s time to spice things up! And also, this is a great chance for you to purchase Corpse Keeper as there will be a time-limited 25% discount till 10 am on September 25 (PDT). Don’t miss out!

[Update Contents]

- Added two new difficulty levels that will require 3 and 4 Demon’s Soul Crystals.
- Added three brand-new playable characters that will appear at the Difficulty Level with 3 Demon’s Soul Crystals—Felony Prisoner, Vagrant Knight, Abbess—each featuring unique attack actions and traits.
- Added a new area “Counsellor’s Hidden Chamber” at the Difficulty Level with 3 Demon’s Soul Crystals.
- Updated the main character’s appearance (fully make over).
- There will be chances that actions with Slow Start won’t be interrupted. *This trait will be effective for players only at the first three difficulty levels. And from the next level, it’s also possible that the enemies’ attack actions with Slow Start won’t be interrupted.

Please note that your previous game progress won’t be lost after the major update. If you’ve already defeated the Lesser Demon at the level of 2 Demon’s Soul Crystals, you will be able to start the next difficulty directly at the Demon's Soul Altar.

[About the New Difficulty Levels]

- 3 new playable characters—Felony Prisoner, Vagrant Knight, Abbess.

- New area “Counsellor’s Hidden Chamber”.
*All current enemies might appear in the Counsellor’s Hidden Chamber, and some of the stronger enemies will have extra attack moves, some even with elemental attacks.
- Added an enhanced version of Crazy Knight that you might encounter (small chance) in the Counsellor’s Chamber.

- Part of the flesh gained will become rotten, and Soul Crystals might become Dim Soul Crystals, these newly added items will need to be purified or transferred with special facilities to be turned into items you can actually use in the game.
Purifying Forge and Crystal Pile will only be available in the Counsellor’s Hidden Chamber.

- Besides, you may also find a special “Fountain” in the Counsellor’s Hidden Chamber that can lower the Decay of your characters.

Not gonna lie – the excitement is getting off the charts as we’re thrilled to announce that the Employee Update is finally here! I understand that you might be busy playing the new update right now, so I won’t take much time from you today. However, I’d highly advise you to stick with me ‘till the end as I have the privilege to reveal what is coming to the Gas Station Simulator universe. So let’s see what I’ve got for you this time.

Employee Update 🧑‍💼

With the much anticipated Employee Update, you’ll now have the possibility to hire two additional employees, schedule everyone’s work thanks to day/night shifts, prioritize their tasks, and pay them their rightful wages – all of this within one tab accessible via the computer. How convenient is that?

In addition to all the employee-related stuff, I’ve also managed to sneak around our office and steal the patch notes from the dev team. Just don’t tell them that I just did that, okay?

Gas Station Simulator⛽

Fixed an issue with a certain car causing traffic jam near spawning points
Fixed an issue that caused drivers to choose the wrong path while driving a car out of a parking lot
Fixed an issue that caused small car “Maluch” to pick up wrong path when driving away from fuel pump
Car spawn points are no longer visible
Collected cards no longer respawn after hiding and showing Landmarks
The triangular part of the roof is now properly paintable at Gas Station level 2
Fixed an issue with cleaning employee being stuck if we pick up last trash right before them
Employee that cleaned everything will now correctly resume his work when new trash/dirt stains appears
Fixed an issue that created an empty save file
Tutorial for car fueling no longer pops up twice

Party Bus Customers no longer have stretched tongues
