Fixed an issue with loading campaign mode fortification puzzles after a certain problematic puzzle was attempted to be loaded.
Fixed an issue with loading a tutorial which asks for player input on the first node. It was previously marking the options of where to play next on the board, which was not intended when asking the player to decide where to play.
Cooking Live - Italian Kitchen Simulator - Victoria S.
Jane’s been asked to shoot a TV program called “Cooking Strike” to show off her incredible cooking skills, and she needs to complete five levels in a row to make sure she’s ready!
While you complete the levels to get ready for the show, the TV crew will bring some more professional equipment.
If you fail a level, your progress will be reset and you’ll have to start from the beginning! You can try as many times as you want. The TV show’s paying for the food, so you won’t be using yours up.
When you finish the fifth level you’ll receive a big reward that includes booster parts, Coins, Rubies, and blog points!
If you don’t complete all the levels before the event ends, don’t worry. You aren’t losing anything, and there’ll always be another TV program!
Hello! This is Francisco González, developer of Lamplight City. I've got a special message from Lamplight City’s composer Mark Benis:
Today, September 13th 2023, marks the 5 year anniversary since we released Lamplight City. Whoa! Months ago when I found out this milestone was coming up, it had me reflecting on really how lucky I was to have collaborated with Francisco on this game. I was a young(er) composer just finding my way, and Lamplight City inspired me to write music that I feel brought out the best in me. The confidence I had to explore different sounds and focus in on a mid-19th-century-inspired orchestral score I really attribute to the game's vastly imaginative world and how much Francisco trusted me to do it justice. For that I'll always be grateful, and I know I'll always look back at our collaboration on this game quite fondly.
So to celebrate this milestone, I dug through my old files and included in a new soundtrack update we've put together 9 pieces arranged for piano and 4 of those with a full score. I chose the piano arrangements based on playability + what I thought would be fun to play, and the pieces with full scores are those where the orchestration/integration in the game might be fun to peek at should you be interested.
Special thank you to the team at Materia Collective -- Sydney, Jamie and Sebastian -- for supporting this project and for their hard work in making this collection a reality. I hope you enjoy revisiting the dark alleyways of Lamplight City with all this new sheet music in hand. And if you give the piano arrangements a go I'd love to hear, please feel free to share!
- Mark

As Mark said, there’s a Soundtrack update that includes a bunch of new sheet music! Current (and future) owners of the soundtrack can click on “Browse Local Files” after downloading to easily find them.
Thanks everyone for celebrating this big milestone with us! Your support over the years has meant so much, we hope you’ll continue enjoying the game for many more years to come. As a reminder, a developer commentary was added in 2019. so if you haven't listened, it's a great excuse to revisit the game!

-We've made some changes to the Proton version of the game, more specifically, an error is resolved which throws an exception 'Jacob's Quest Cache' when attempting to play on Steam Deck. We cannot yet guarantee compatibility 100% as of yet but are making major strides making Jacob's Quest cross-platform friendly. -We've also fixed some bugs in the mainline version of the game.
