We are just past the one-year anniversary milestone of Disney Dreamlight Valley’s launch! This community – and your Valleys! – have grown into incredibly magical places to be a part of. Thank you for joining us on this journey.
And the adventure has only just begun! The year is not over yet, so look out for more new and familiar stories to explore in the Valley!
A new Realm door opens!
Featured in our original key art and trailer, Belle is finally making her way to the Valley – along with Beast! Of course, before welcoming this magical duo, you’ll need to help them reunite through a series of quests in the Enchanted Castle, which exists just beyond the Beauty and the Beast Realm Door. We recommend you don your best furniture-inspired outfit and avoid the West Wing.
Welcome Belle and Beast
Once you invite Belle and Beast to your Valleys, you’ll embark on new adventures with each of them. So, what will this enchanting duo get up to once in the Valley? Well, in the case of the former – Belle is on a mission to find a new book, of course! Journey along with Belle to discover the rich and exciting written histories of the Valley.
As for Beast? Well, he could use a confidence booster. Help him look his beastly-best and plan a romantic date with Belle!
Don’t forget about The Forgotten
While many have already completed the main storyline, The Forgotten’s story is far from over! Once you’ve finished the main questline of Disney Dreamlight Valley, you’ll unlock a short series of quests with The Forgotten to discover more about them and help reintegrate them into the Valley.
Haunted Holiday Star Path
Prepare for plenty of frights and delights in this season’s new Star Path! Trick and treat yourself to various items and cosmetics inspired by Disney’s Hocus Pocus, Pirates of the Caribbean, Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas, and Disneyland’s The Haunted Mansion.
The Premium Shop will also get an assortment of new items! Don’t forget to participate in our ongoing DreamSnaps challenges to win Moonstones each week and unlock new and exclusive rewards.
Ursula’s Transformation Dream Bundle
Pond hopping no more – Ursula has finally found her land-legs as Vanessa! Nevertheless, like a fish out of water, she may need some help adjusting to her new form. Fans who purchase her optional Dream Bundle and equip her Vanessa Dream Style will join her on an adventure full of mischief, magic, and maybe stealing a few other characters' voices. It is Ursula, after all!
Fans who complete her new questline will gain an assortment of new cosmetic items and furniture – including her iconic Nautilus Pendant Necklace!
Halloween returns to the Valley once more!
Trick-or-treaters delight! Our candy event is returning to the Valley. From October 24th to November 1st, scour your Plazas for colorful candy buckets to unlock Dreamlight duties and their respective prizes. If you participated last year, you’ll still be able to pick up candy buckets – because who doesn’t love a sweet treat?
Community Based Changes
It’s already been one whole year of content influenced by you, our amazing Community! And we’re not stopping there. Here’s a short list of just some of the changes brought to the game, inspired by players like you:
Your Valley friends are back to their chatty selves! Characters will occasionally have speech bubbles appear as they talk to one another.
Pouch items added to Scrooge Shop rotation. It was never our intention to have some items only available through pink pouches – this bug has been resolved, and you can expect to see items previously found only in pouches (like the coveted Wooden Fruit Stand!) appear on Scrooge’s shelves.
More bang for your buck! Gone are the days of only crafting 1 path or fence – you’ll now receive more pathing and fencing pieces for your crafting materials.
We’ve also been busy behind the scenes the taking care of commonly reported bugs and issues. For a full list of what has been included in this Update, please see HERE.
Should you run into any issues while playing Disney Dreamlight Valley, we first recommend that you check out our known issues HERE. If you don’t see the issue you’re running into, you can get in touch with our Support team via our contact form. Running into issues with a certain quest or objective? Check out our friendly Discord Community for some Disney Dreamlight Valley tips and tricks!
If you’ve been hanging around the official Core Keeper Discord, you probably already know that Core Keeper has an active and talented modding community. You can find plenty of mods across the internet, from auto-fishing to tile placement, but there hasn’t been any official mod support for Core Keeper…until now!
After collating feedback from the modding community, we’re delighted to announce that we are launching a Mod Software Development Kit (SDK) for Core Keeper on September 20th 2023. The Mod SDK will offer players a standardised way to create mods (via Unity) and install them directly from the game menu using a https://mod.io/ integration.
As a brand-new tool, the Mod SDK may have some initial limitations, which we are aiming to expand over time. We hope the Mod SDK will open up the world of Core Keeper mods to even more Explorers and we can’t wait to see what you create come September 20th!
The essence of shattered souls were concentrated into these scarlet shards, echoing memories of past glories.
Fellow Adventurers:
we finally sorted out our program and made progress on clean coding, which is very important for future chapter updates as well as MOD support. It took longer than we expected but we never stopped keeping polishing the experience. Now there’s a Crystal Shard in each boss area, you can shatter it to re-challenge the boss. More importantly, we have improved the game by listening to our community suggestions. Chapter 2 is in development! We are eager to share more about it here in the following months. In the v0.4.3 we also implemented multiple languages. Hopefully it will make improve your gameplay experience while reading your own character and words. We are a small team, and welcome your support on localizations.

Today we would like to introduce you to the new Tactical ops mode in the Hardcore version. The idea behind it was that we wanted players looking for a greater challenge and those who prefer more realistic gameplay to feel at home in this new mode. In addition to simple changes, such as cutting down the interface to a minimum, the life of a single soldier will be definitely more at risk than in the other normal modes. In addition, there will be several new features available only in this mode. The full list of changes with a detailed description below.
• Reduced player interface (HUD) - We have left only the most essential elements of the interface available to the player. The visibility of everything on the minimap, the amount of health, the number of ammunition are now the information you need to remember. In hardcore mode, you also won't see information about who killed who, where it happened or where the bullets hit. Stay focused and remember to report everything through the team communication system.
• Designated respawn spot - A special gadget only available in this mode for the team commander. Immediately after the start of the game, for four minutes the commander can deploy a special gadget that will allow his team members to respawn at a location of his choice. However, the gadget is not infinite and only works for a limited time.
• Reduced time to kill (TTK) - The increase in difficulty and realism has taken place on several levels. One of these is the character's survival rate after being shot. For this mode, each bullet deals 200% of standard damage, while a headshot is 300% more effective than normal.
• Vehicles and gadgets - Just like ordinary weapons, vehicles, strikes and other gadgets are more powerful. Both for the operators and against each other.
• Medical assistance after being knocked down - When a player's operator receives damage that eliminates him from further combat, another player can give him medical assistance (lift him up) so that he can fight again.
• Movement speed - This has been adjusted to match the real pace at which people move. This means it is slightly lower than in the other modes.
• Spectator camera - This has been disabled, now you won't find out who killed your operator and from what point.
• 3rd person camera for vehicles - Players driving vehicles will not be able to use the 3rd person camera. As in real life, there will be no bird's eye view for vehicles.
A full comparison of Tactical ops mode and Hardcore tactical ops mode can be found below in a convenient table form:
Let us know on our Discord what do you think about this mode. Fall out Operators!
Just a quick note to let you know that our updated demo needs playtesting!
On 14th September we’ll be giving out 100 keys over on Discord and we’d love to hear your feedback.
To claim a key, keep an eye on the Discord at 4pm BST / 8am PT tomorrow. We’ll be creating a new channel called Key-Claim in REKA’s cottage. To make this as fair as possible, these keys will be given out first come, first served.
There will be plenty more playtest opportunities in the future, so please don’t be disheartened if you miss out. Thank you so much for all your support so far, and we can’t wait to hear your thoughts on our witchy game! 🔮
In order to run REKA on your PC these are the minimum requirements:
OS: Windows 7 Processor: Intel Core i5 4670/ AMD Ryzen 5 1400 Memory: 8 GB RAM Graphics: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1660 Super/AMD Radeon RX 590 DirectX: Version 11 Storage: 3 GB available space
Also, there's no NDA for this demo. We're happy for you to stream your playthrough if you'd like, but what we'd really appreciate is your thoughts and feedback (there will be a form for you to complete), as this will help shape our game. Please note: This is a pre-alpha version of REKA, so the performance won't be fully optimised yet! ❤️
Flashpoint Campaigns is getting a tutorial video series. We are starting off with scouts and recon units and how to use them effectivley and keep them alive. We plan to cover numerous other weapon systems and troops types, with actual military veterans advising us on how to use them against the enemy.
Hey, everyone! Here is our devlog #3. We’ve been developing “ExTime: Primal Menace” for quite a long time and are ready to show you some new stuff.
THE OFFICE
Not exactly what you might have thought, but this is where “ARROW” employees used to work. What is “ARROW”, and what kind of work did they use to do? To find out, you should subscribe to our social media! We’ll uncover this secret when we get 500 followers on our Twitter @vega_horizon. However, as you can see in these screenshots, we’re developing a dark horror game where fear and curiosity are your main companions.
MODELING A FEMALE CHARACTER
This has to be a real surprise for you, guys, as we’re announcing only for the first time that this supermodel will become one of the main characters in our game. You’ll get to know her closer in a few months, but currently, we’re still working on her appearance, mimics, and movements. Anyone likes to play for a girl in action-adventure games, right?
DETAILS MATTER MOST
We want to make our game accurate and high-quality, so we can’t use just some default boxes and electronic devices. Our designers put a lot of effort into creating authentic pieces of art. Let’s show you some of them.
We got to go, as there’s still much work for us to do. Stay tuned!
