After finishing what was left of Bianca’s content, I shifted focus to Seraphina and her quest. The dungeon layout is complete and I just need to tweak some of the puzzle elements and furnish the environments.
Some more scenes have been scripted and I think I’ve created a challenging boss out of her. Seraphina’s power of light will slowly drain Mila (and companion) of her HP, adding additional tension to the fight. If you are at a lower level, you will definitely want to bring a Pet to help you in this fight.
Seraphina’s support conversations and bad ending are the last major pieces of writing I have left. To be honest, I felt stuck with where I wanted her character to go. While writing the boss scene leading up to her bite, I got an epiphany. It required me to go back and create new character portraits, but now the conversations have the capability to be…sexier.
Outside of her initial fall and corruption, I want to explore the sexual deviousness of this wicked, holy woman. While I enjoy writing support conversations, I realize that the conversation tends to lean towards wholesome rather than arousing. While I think that’s worked well for the characters I’ve written for so far, I think there’s a portion of the player base that’s looking for more T&A out of these conversations.
One other quick thing I’d like to share with you all is this sketch of a new enemy type!
I’d been brainstorming ideas for new mook enemy types to add to the vampire route, since fighting vampire hunters can get pretty repetitive, even if their designs are varied. I came up with the idea of adding a hunter enemy that focuses on a singular skill type. This hunter focuses on Axe skills. Eventually, there will be an enemy type for Knives, Bombs, Crosses, and Silver Bullets too! This enemy type will not be added in this update as I already have my hands full, but will appear in the next update, which will advance the vampire route’s story.
I’ll be taking it easy this upcoming week, to celebrate my birthday with some friends. I have some fanart unrelated to Crimson Veil that I’ve meant to finish, but haven’t had the time to. That being said, I want to announce that I plan on releasing the next update some time in October. The last big hurdle is finishing up the art and writing the bad ending scenes, so expect to see those in the coming weeks leading up to the update’s release.
But that’s all I have for you this week. Until next time, everyone!
You have eight missions to complete. Each mission consists of a different location stage, and a different enemy boss unit.
You can choose which maniple to send on each mission, according to their strengths and weaknesses. For example, you will have to send one maniple to the Space location. The Saviour or Argent might be poor choices here due to the lack of cover, so you could send a faster maniple like the White One or Templar. If the boss unit in the Space location is the Banrigh, you might want to avoid using the Templar because of its low health.
Mission Success: that maniple is no longer available for the remaining missions.
Mission Failure: the mission remains available, and you must try it again with as a rescue mission with another maniple.
Rescue Mission: the rescuing maniple is no longer available, and the rescued maniples become available for your remaining missions.
I think this is quite nice mode. I usually play the All Random mode, but now you can avoid the randomness in favour of making strategic choices.
Revisiting the small but charming world of The Dark Prophecy, it’s hard for me to resist making small improvements. For now - I've brought a little more life to the game's start screen, where all players begin their journey. A small example is in the video (actually there is more). Thanks to everyone who plays the game, I hope you'll enjoy this small change.
You can now use Detailed plans to get Burners at the ready. Anti-depressants and alcohol now increase the minimum need level for sex for those who require erectile function. - But SVV now blocks this effect. There's some new workshop stuff. Added the missing text on Esme's Adventures 10.
Fixed some bugs and typos; thanks for the reports!

Added "Covert Gigs" These hidden gigs are for players who like to explore a bit more. If you're the type who enjoys digging into the game world, like finding out more about certain characters, you might just come across one of these.
The game will provide subtle hints whenever you are near a covert gig.
For those who are interested, the prologue includes one covert gig that begins right after you target James from Austin University with the Credential Harvester.
Improved Auto-complete
Now, when you press Tab once, it will auto-complete the next segment rather than filling in the entire code. If you still prefer the old auto-complete behavior, you can simply hold Tab instead. Additionally, you can switch between Click and Hold in Options > Controls > Auto-Complete.
Added Help Menus
Now you can issue a command followed by "--help" to access additional information about the command. For instance, you can use "airorun --help" as an example.
Added Scripting/Shortcut/Alias
You can now script your commands. Currently, there are three commands to facilitate this process:
"script -s !Script_Name": Replace "Script_Name" with the desired script name. Each script must start with an "!" After pressing Enter, the terminal will listen for your next command and save it.
For example, if you used "!use_ftp", the next time you type "!use_ftp", it will replace it with the chosen command, for example "use -x FTP_Bounce_Attack -version 1.0.0 -ip X"
To view your list of scripts, use the command: "search-scripts".
To delete a script, use the command: "delete-script -s 0", where "0" represents the index.
Terminal Command Highlighting
Commands entered in the terminal are now color-coded to match the suggested command, making it easier to detect syntax errors.
Bug Fixes and Improvements
Fixed a bug where players could get stuck after the bank gig.
Corrected a spelling error in the final gig.
Fixed a bug where audio files continue to play after deleting them.
Fixed a bug with Data Manipulation and Spoofing Operations mismatch.
Fixed a bug with Audio volumes.
Ctrl+T now opens the terminal.
Added a news article about the new covert gig.
Fixed a bug where side and completed gigs were listed in the wrong order.
Fixed a bug with mouse cursor.
Added more commands.
Full game
In the prologue, although the heat doesn't play a significant role, the consequences in the full game will be severe. You will become a target for other hackers. Being targeted doesn't simply mean evading or solving something; instead, it will be a detailed process, akin to a "gig."
Certain characters will assume more prominent roles in the full game, such as the DJ party guy.
More regular maintenance as part of codebase refactoring & clean up.
- Bot behavior for entering mountables/vehicles has been rewritten. Bots should hop onto tanks, mounted MGs, and artillery guns much more frequently. - Candidate bots for occupying a vehicle/mountable adjusted to prioritize nearby bots; this should prevent bots from attempting to run across the whole map to occupy a vehicle. Nearby bots will be prioritized and helps keep these guns active and in the battle.
We will perform maintenance on the Closers World server according to the following schedule, based on your time zone:
