Hey hey hey! Finally, after a long time, we were able to bring the project to an acceptable state so that we could release a demo version.
The current version contains only one trial level, and not all of our developments are used in it. Since we did not find any relevant cases to demonstrate them, it was decided to leave them until the next updates.
For the past month, we've been struggling with writing our own navigation system for characters, and it still needs some work. In addition to improving existing systems, we will create the next levels, cut-scenes, and some tools for the editor that are not there, but which we think about all the time during development.
We are thrilled to present to you exclusively the brand-new trailer of Soul War, which faithfully depicts the incredible in-game experience that awaits you! ːsteamhappyː
The Front Closed Beta Test ended at 00:00 on September 10th UTC, and the servers have now been closed. The game data from this test will also be erased.
Although the testing period was short, we deeply felt the enthusiasm and support from all of you. We greatly appreciate your understanding and tolerance for the imperfect test version. We have diligently recorded every issue and constructive suggestion you provided. We will try our best in optimizing the game, and continue to develop new content. We are looking forward to give you a better experience next time.
We hope you can take a moment to fill out the survey for this test (link: https://forms.gle/zPgE34yzdhFc1zX7). Your feedback is invaluable and will serve as a crucial reference for further game adjustments and improvements. You can also tell your friends to add The Front to their wishlist and stay updated on the latest game developments by following our official social media accounts or joining our Discord community.
Once again, we sincerely thank you for your support and love!
We are excited to talk about Paint Desk Simulator and the updates coming along with it!
First and foremost, we are super happy to announce Paint Desk Simulator for public release soon. During our soft launch for the alpha, we received amazing feedback and want to strive for perfection when it comes to catering to our fanbase. During the alpha, we received many ideas that we never thought of and got right into implementing them into our game.
The planned date for the beta release of Paint Desk Simulator is early October. Set your calendar for October 9th, however, that is subject to change! We want the game to be in a perfect state when it is released for its beta launch. We do not want to disappoint our audience when it comes to the release, so if we deem it not worthy of release yet, we will withhold it. We want a quality game, not a game made just as a cash grab.
Secondly, we would like to announce the roadmap for Paint Desk Simulator. - LINK TO ROADMAP - This roadmap shows what is coming to the game for the main release in December. We are adding things as we go, so there are a lot of updates coming out, but everything will not be implemented until our main release on December 21st.
Also, we would enjoy your company in our public discord for Paint Desk Simulator. - LINK FOR DISCORD - This Discord server is a great opportunity to get your voice heard! We are often active on the server and want your feedback on what to improve and what you want added. Along with this, we also host giveaways! If you would like a chance to be a part of a community and potentially earn free things, join us! We are more than happy to have your company!
Finally, we would like to address something! This game is a passion project for us two. We have sunk our time into this game and we are very proud of the result. Starting this game, we both had no knowledge of game development or game design. We really hope you like what we have created for you all. We have looked at a lot of games in our genre to get an understanding of pricing for these types of games. We noticed most games like this are upwards of $15.00, which is CRAZY! We do not want to charge even close to this price for our game. We like to justify purchases by saying "Will I get at least $1 per hour played?" And personally, we think this game will have more value than $1 per hour. The price for this game will be $3.99 USD.
Thank you all for being a part of this great community, and we are both excited to see how the game is received by the community! Be sure to wishlist the game so you can see when the beta release is launched!
