Patch 1.24.1 is now live on the Development branch on Steam, adding a new rifle scope, ambient sounds to Tikamoon Plains, and addressing a few outstanding issues.

We will push this update to the stable version on Steam, as well as EGS, GOG, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S as soon as we have confirmed that it is, indeed, stable.

  • Added: Tikamoon Plains ambient sounds
  • Fixed: Special mission animals can respawn after you have claimed them
  • Fixed: If a player fast travels or is knocked out before a fatally wounded animal dies and it is killed upon despawn, the animal remains in its last pose
  • Fixed: Inability to claim the man-eating lion after harvesting a different animal during the mission
  • Fixed: Lion rare fur variation being called albino (changed to leucistic)
  • Fixed: Wrong claim date on taxidermized animals
  • Fixed: Albino animals having different eyes in-game and in the claim screen
  • Fixed: Incorrect trophy age for multiplayer animals in the hunting log
  • Fixed: Pop-up when resetting game settings to default offering players to reset game progress
  • Fixed: Difficulty in Free Hunt mode not being based on the difficulty wizard
  • Fixed: Outline of warthog intestines in the bullet camera
  • Fixed: Hunter sense dot being too bright when breath is held for the first time
  • Tweaked: Reduced mule deer aggressivity

Before you opt into the development branch, please make sure that you back up your save file, as progress you make on the development branch WILL NOT CARRY OVER to the stable version if you later choose to switch back. The patch will be pushed to the stable version and other platforms as soon as we have confirmed that it is indeed stable.

We have prepared a new mission, added new cutscenes, and a new alarm mechanic for bots. We have made changes to the map's geometry to better accommodate this mission: modified the covers and reworked some of the areas.

You will have to venture into a once-prosperous district of Shamsi, Karkhad's capital. You must prevent an ambush on a humanitarian convoy in the area, now under the control of Al-Thurir terrorists.

Dear Revhead,

Update #41 brings some long awaited changes. The AI became more fierce and cunning, they won't push you out off tracks,but will give you the run for your money.
We rebalanced our racing events according to the changes made to our AI. The events vary in difficulty, they all should be more enjoyable now.
Now you will truly feel the dopamin rush trough your veins after beating the races on the various tracks.


Not only did we update the AI and events, we also continued our quest of bettering the performance and fixing bugs for a smoother gameplay.

Changes:

Game:
  • upgraded AI for much faster pace, better overtaking and general behaviour
  • re-balanced the races for better progress at the start while having more challenge in some limited races
  • fixed the memory usage (caused crash after longer game sessions)
  • much better shadow resolution
  • fixed engine's HP/Torque info in shops and newspaper
  • volumetric clouds were disabled in "fastest" and "fast" quality to get significantly higher fps on low end systems
  • fixed a dealer mission bug where chassis damage affected generic parts condition task
  • fixed tow mission penalty decision when declining the mission
  • fixed missing gearshift (to 1st gear) at race start in some cases
  • fixed some NPC cars to avoid flipovers in several situations
  • fixed a bug causeing missing cloud render after each 2nd race restart
  • fixed the spectator cam after race restart
  • added missing supporter animations on Gutta Raceway
  • fixed a bug causeing the Backyard jump on the map loaded the AirStrip race instead
  • fixed the Panania sport airfilter ad title
  • fixed the Walea fuel, water temp, clock and boost gauges to show the proper value in cockpit mode
  • fixed some floating vegetation (Redland)
  • better looking skidmarks
  • refined the Imalona road and trackside bumps
  • added trackside bumps for Yanagin tracks to penalize corner cuts
  • added profile save on forced quit to disable cheating and avoid profile integrity issues

Sound:
  • tow sfx and environmental sfx now conforms to cockpit camera mode
  • refined some car sfx volume level for better overall sound experience

  • hints for mechanic button (garage) and group selector button (racelobby) now shows controller/keyboard buttons dynamically
  • fixed a bug causeing the collect racepoints task were shown unfinished after a successful mission on the summary page
  • updated hints in shop
  • refined focus behaviour in shop and garage notepad for easier navigation
  • updated highlight in shop and newspaper (car ads) for better visibility
  • added and connected Euroa brand badges in notepad
  • fixed mission button issue (double click was needed in some cases)

Greetings, our fellow adventurers! *wink*

We've prepared a new Event that you will surely enjoy!

Event Period:

2023/09/06 00:00 ~ 09/24 23:59 (PDT)



Event Mechanics:

- Once you have entered the Event page, you will see two doors that has a corresponding Mission.
- Each door contains a particular reward so choose your Mission wisely!

Note: You can only select 1 Mission and you cannot revert your selection.





- Once you have completed the Mission you have selected, defeat the monster and claim your reward!



- You may check your Mission progress by clicking on the Mini Map on the lower left side of the Event page.







Mission features with Special functions

Mysterious Portal:

- Randomly transport you to a random location within 3 blocks (Forward or Backward).



Trade with the Devil:



- The difficulty of the mission increases when dealing with the devil.
- Rewards that can be acquired over a period of time will be upgraded.

Note: Mysterious portals and Trade with the Devil are located in certain
parts of the map, and you can choose whether to use them or not.

It's time for another week of adjustments.
Please note that this time we are mainly making adjustments after 50F and UI changes.
Let's take a look at the contents

Elec0t to your eyeballs
.It seems that I, as the UI designer, have gone a little overboard!
I have changed the colors around the UI, which were too stimulating, to calm colors as much as possible.
Hopefully this will reduce the amount of damage to your eyeballs...

Game balance adjustment

This is where the real fight begins!
Dear all, Are you playing Chicken Never Die?
This mode has been a bit of a challenge to balance.
So we have decided to enhance the sakanas to the extent that it does not interfere too much with the other two modes.
The sharks after the 50th floor are stronger than before.
(There is still no change in behavior, etc.)
If you don't proceed more carefully than before, the danger is dangerous...?

Too Big to Match
.the contact point of some of the larger fish was inside the contact point of the collider
This bug has been fixed.
Please be careful of larger fish than before.
Also, the hit detection of marlin targets has been removed by this fix.

Weapon adjustments

We have removed the function to double the mission quota after 50F.
This will speed up the progress after 50F, but please note that the further you progress, the stronger the enemies will be.

Added the ability to return to the title by pressing the BACK button during mode select.
