New Features and Changes:

  • Added localization to 5 languages: Ukrainian, Espanol, French, Russian, and Deutch (failed to add Simplified Chineses due to some weird Unreal Engine bug);
  • Added 'Disclaimer' for localization ("... translations in this game have been generated using automated translation tools");
  • Changed font to one that is compatible with 'Cyrillic' alphabet;
  • Added UI for selecting localization in 2 places: main menu and game pause menu;
  • Added game logic (save load localization selected by the user);
  • Added the rest (~7k symbols) of voice-over for endings;
  • There are a few minor changes in levels;

- Crew loadout is preserved when player sinks.
- Game is forwarded to the loadout screen after characters are selected for the first time or when player sinks.

- Acoustic torpedoes can now target submerged submarines.

Bug Fixes
- Fixed bug causing crew recruit routine to be double the time than intended.

Changes
- Enemy air squads may now join engagements depending on your threat level, they are scheduled by time.
- What territory you are on now affects how long it takes to be clear of accumulated threat level, how close you are to an enemy base is also a factor to that.
- Minor buffs to dual bofors systems on friendly vessels.

Bug Fixes
- Adjustments to engagement generation code to avoid some errors.
- Adjustments to how close units spawn to coast during engagements.
- Prevent Elco 80' rear floating high up when dealing with rough waves.
- Ship trails do not reset when they are spawned/positioned, leading to random long foam lines.
- Ports are not visible in minimap.

Because I don't know how to test the achievement system on this machine, there may be bugs in the online version, but if any bugs are found, they will be fixed as soon as possible.

We upgraded the project to Unity 2022 LTS to take advantage of an important volumetric fog quality issue (scanlines of missing visual data for foliage in fog). But physics are also calculated slightly differently, which affects vehicle handling in a mostly positive way.

We disabled vehicle impact debris for now until a global batcher is finished for that feature.

Network update for clients:

Overal movement for the clients should be smoother.


Changes and fixes:
- Damage numbers changed from blue to yellow (better visibility)
- Lean cam should be same speed as the lean camera.
- Kill cam should not go up after death anymore
- Player should not be taking cover at random anymore
- Orange outline is gone. You won't secretly see enemies anymore when they are close together.
- Player will have a sound when landing.
- Nade throw was slowed down. Now it should always have the correct speed.
- reload warn sound could be heard by other players. This is not for player only.
- Weapon swapping was sometimes slow. This should be faster.
- Drone activation was deemed to slow. This is faster.
- Dead enemy should not be visible anymore.
- Spark remained on the field after player died. This should not happen anymore.
- Cover title sometimes remained to be seen even when far from the wall. Player will now only see it when being in certain distance of an object/wall.
- Running was sometimes laggy. This should be fixess.
- RPK was to strong. Numbers have been dialed down for more fair gameplay.
- Removed the red dot from the non ADS crosshair.
- Ready time from running to fire sometimes seemed to much. This is lowered overall.
- Slide to cover cam client is improved.
- On client side the cover title remained when sliding into cover. Now it will properly dissapear.
- It was not possible to run out of cover for both client and host. Now we should be able to.
- Fixed weird hand movement when walking away from cover while chaning shoulder.
- Improved fire rate for handguns
- Fixed the temp class changing weapons destroying
- Fury should be less laggy.
- Capture sound kept playing after dieing on a capture point. Fix makes it so person stops hearing capture sound when dieing on point.
- When a lot of people where in a lobby we couldnt choose teams anymore. This will be fixed.

- Pathfinder: 20% shorter lifetime
- Bane: Faster activation, New trajectory, Now 1 press of F is on urself, hold it for longer distance up to 3 seconds
- Device charge should not be resetting after spawn anymore

Possible fixes (uncertain):
- Nade sometimes was not availabe on spawning. Now the nade should always be available on respawning
- Client got default attachments on their weapon. Now players should properly get their chosen attachments
- slide to cover stand
