DommeBreaker - Zee Vital
This month, as voted for in the Twitter poll, we will be giving you all a quick rundown of the general game flow. We'll also use this to clarify a question that's come up in the comments, in DMs and emails: "The description makes it sound like the women are going to be the submissive ones this time around. Is DommeBreaker still about Femdom?" Yes, it most certainly is. But let's start from the beginning.

The game will start with an intro scene and Dominance Battle tutorial, which will also serve as the introduction for the two male characters: Michael and Richard. Michael is the bull character visible in the Store page art, surrounded by the lovely ladies. Richard is the utterly degenerate cuck husband of Hannah who's so desperately addicted to Femdom that he can't help spending his money on several other Dommes. The crux of the story is Michael being tasked by Hannah to convince the 3 other Dommes (Emily, Jitsuko and Tomie) to stop burning through Richard's savings.

Afterwards, Stacy gets introduced as the upgrade girl and the player enters the main portion of the game where they have the freedom to choose which character to interact with.
We've shown off the map art before, but here it is again for clarity's sake:

Each of those locations will have a set chance for one of the women to show up there per day. The more they can spend there, the less likely it is. This creates a slightly randomized time limit for the game. Per day, the player can choose several actions when interacting with any of the 3 women. Obviously, this includes initiating a Dominance Battle, but there are other options we won't be spoiling yet.

As the player engages in (and ultimately wins) Dominance Battles, the individual Domme he has beaten will progress a Stage. They each start at Stage 1 and go up to 3. At each subsequent Stage, their outfit, their combat, their interaction options and their dialogue become more sexual. But that's not all! After every Dominance Battle victory, you will be treated to a sexy scene from the perspective of Richard. That's right, the consequences of your actions as the bull will be viewed through the lens of the cuck as he shamelessly reflects your own perverted thoughts and desires.

The idea for this was inspired by those H games where you play as the woman and cheat on her bf/fiancé/husband, only for the game to then switch perspective to the male and witness the scene. However, we wanted to give it a twist by making you conquer the women as the bull. Although the goal is to make them subservient to Michael, all 3 of them will remain dominant towards Richard and it's through his perspective that the player experiences the victory sex scenes, which will also serve to flesh out the backstories for each of the 3 Dommes.

Once the player has defeated all 3 women in their Stage 3 Dominance Battle, the game and story will come to their conclusion, but we're not going to give that away just yet. What we will be revealing right now is some of the background art for the various locations, because our artist has been killing it:

Lastly, there is of course the Twitter (or "X" if you insist) poll for next month!
Dream Tactics - Purrgil 1
Hello everybody, welcome back to the Dreamweaver’s Journal, where we provide you with a brief update on the progress we've achieved with Dream Tactics! In this edition of the Journal, we aim to take you on a swift tour of one of the five worlds within the Dream World: the Coral Oasis.

The Coral Oasis

Set far away in the furthest corner of Dream World lies the mysterious Coral Oasis. To the uninitiated, it seems like paradise found! With its white-sand beaches, perfect weather, and bountiful resources, who wouldn't want to live here? But this is the Dream World, and of course, there is a catch.

You see, once one sets foot into the oasis, they can never leave! Despite that, the Coral Oasis has a reputation for hiding the most prized and valuable treasure in all of the Dream World. This has inspired many treasure hunters and scholars to come and find the treasure, and perhaps learn about the mysterious civilizations that left it behind. It begs the question: is all the treasure to be found under its sandy shores worth the price of never being able to leave? I suppose that’s for each adventurer to answer for themselves. Regardless, in order to save the Dream World, you must venture deep within the Coral Oasis. With luck on your side, you may evade the fate that ensnared those who were once seduced by the oasis, finding themselves trapped in its sands for eternity.

Amber

Amber ventured to the Coral Oasis, consumed by an unrelenting drive to unearth untold riches and discover the ultimate motherlode. Undaunted by the possibility of never departing from the oasis, she ascended the ranks among accomplished treasure hunters. She has gained considerable notoriety among the Oasis residents for her prowess and her remarkable ability to locate the most valuable treasures.

It's all about fire with Amber. Her fire-themed cards are some of the most powerful you will find. Not only is Amber a dominant damage dealer with her magical abilities, but nearly all of her cards have the additional effect of creating Scorched Earth tiles.

Scorched Earth applies fire to the tile underneath where a unit is standing. If a unit is standing on or walks into a Scorched Earth tile, they will receive a Burn debuff. Burn deals damage to the afflicted unit at the start of each turn proportional to the amount of INT that the caster of Scorched Earth has. The smarter Amber gets, the more damage Burn will do!

Amber is no doubt powerful, but beware, her power can sometimes get the best of her. You see, Amber’s Burn is able to damage her teammates! This catch is unique to Amber’s playstyle and those who wield her must take care not to cause too much harm to her teammates. However, Dream Tactics being a game based on builds and strategy, there may be ways to use Amber’s team damage to your advantage. But you will have to stay tuned for future editions of the Journal to learn more about that!

Each and every one of Amber's cards is powerful and will help you on your quest to save the Dream World. We wanted to take this opportunity and share with you a few of our favourites.

Fire Shot
This card can be used to shoot a fireball far across the battlefield. If Amber is in Scorched Earth, this card's range doubles, allowing players to start fires in far off reaches of the battlefield

Wild Fire
Unleashes a ferocious wave of flames that spreads Scorched Earth tiles to its neighbouring areas. This card allows Amber to create a blazing inferno, and playing multiple copies of it can quickly engulf the entire battlefield in flames, catching both enemies and allies in the crossfire.

Kindle
This card amplifies damage by triggering a fiery explosion on the targeted enemy each time you deal damage. The amount of inflicted damage is proportionate to the INT stat of the unit responsible for playing the Kindle card. Given that Kindle inflicts damage every time the target takes damage, keen players will try to pair it with other cards capable of striking multiple times, thereby optimising the potency of Kindle's effect.

There is no denying that Amber ignites the battlefield with her fiery ferocity, but she is also a valuable support unit for her team.

With cards like Warmth and Extinguish at her disposal, Amber can heal her teammates to keep them in the fight. Additionally, Fire Swap can be used for additional movement by allowing her to swap places with an ally in Scorched Earth.

Treasure to be Found in The Oasis

The Coral Oasis is known to hide the most valuable treasure in all of the Dream World, so of course you can expect to find powerful items here to help aid your quest.

Retaliator
This item causes your unit to launch a counter-attack upon successfully evading an enemy attack. The damage inflicted during this counter-attack is directly proportional to the unit's Dexterity (DEX) attribute. By enhancing the wearer's Agility (AGI), the likelihood of evading incoming attacks is increased, thereby enhancing the overall effectiveness and dependability of the Retaliator.

Hiltless
The unit equipped with this item suffers damage whenever they play a card. Initially, this might seem disadvantageous, but in Dream Tactics, numerous items exist that, when combined with Hiltless, can convert its drawback into your advantage.

Take for example Star Shield. When the unit wears Star Shield, they acquire a Tired debuff each time they take damage. This synergy can prove remarkably potent when paired with the Star Hammer card. Star Hammer's damage is increased with the quantity of Tired debuffs the unit possesses. Therefore, to fully exploit Star Hammer's potential, stacking as many Tired debuffs as possible is essential. An effective approach to achieve this synergy is by combining Hiltless with Star Shield.

That’s it for now. Stay tuned for future editions of the Journal where we will talk about more worlds and characters! If you would like to try Dream Tactics, we encourage you to download the demo. Also, feel free to join our Discord server if you have any questions for us. We are always happy to answer any inquiries and respond to all feedback. Before you go, don't forget to give Dream Tactics a wishlist! Your support will really help make Dream Tactics the best it can be.

Glorious Storm - GeneralKARON
Hello my fellow followers!

I had noticed that the game used to crashed when the soldier have to take the road of the camp for the retreat sytem.

This system when you could see the soldier leave the formation after it has been destroyed has been removed.

The interface sytem has been update too. I had noticed that the unit do not add properly to the list below the screen. The error has been corrected completely.

In the customization screen, there were a bug when you could add infinite number of pawn for each category. Now, this error is corrected.

The charge system has been updated too. I had noticed that the infantery regiment would stop and go after a hand to hand combat with an enemy regiment. It no more the case!

I want to announce that I will publish several videos as tutorial videos because I have noticed that the game might be complicated for a lot of people.

Stay tune for more.

And please enjoy the game!

OUTBRK - MOARNial
Hello everyone ! It’s time for another monthly development update! In this newsletter we’re going to show the latest developments on our game systems, world building and player character customisation.

In-Game Weather Report System

Like we mentioned in our last month newsletter, we designed and integrated our new standalone report system to report storm elements on the map. It used to be inside the camera module but it didn’t feel fair to force players to waste pictures just to do a weather report. So here is it, in game :

Dense Fields & Residential Grass

We worked on our procedural vegetation recipe to have a good world details variety, this month we added dense field (corn and sunflower) and short residential grass, here are some screenshots taken in game :

Point of Interests in the world

We started integrating more unique point of interests to bring a little bit more credibility in our different cities, here is one quick screenshot taking in Unity of a street soccer field :

OUTBRK Playable Characters

Two months ago, we shared a little test for our playable character. Since then, we have onboarded a team of character artists to bring more realism and most importantly, customisation, to our playable character. Here is the first test of a gameplay character integrated in Unity :

Next steps

We’ve been doing some incredible progress with our new cloud technology development with our team of technical VFX artists and we can’t wait to show the result of this, but it will take a couple of months before we can properly showcase this fantastic work. We’re also continuing the development process of our character, with doing more content (shirts, pants, shoes…etc) and also have a female body type available for early access. We’re also doing a lot of debugging with our testing team to deliver a polished and comfortable game experience. Looking forward, we will start planning another round of playtest to test our new gameplay systems. We don’t have anything to announce for this yet, we have a lot of work to prepare for this, we hope to have more concrete information about our next playtest in next month’s newsletter.

That's all for this development update ! Please keep Wishlisting the game on Steam, as it helps us break through the visibility algorithm and reach potential new chasers! If you haven't already, Wishlist OUTBRK here: https://store.steampowered.com/app/1107320/OUTBRK/
Till next time, chasers.

Ducks Can Drive - noodle
Hello ducks,

I have been fairly busy this month, but I have been working on this cosmetic system for v4.00. The infrastructure is now finished, with a handful of cosmetics to choose from. More and more will be added throughout v4.01, v4.02 and onwards. This patch also introduces the Penguins Can Too DLC, which allows you to drive as a penguin if you really want to. The DLC will have a discount for the first week. Expect cosmetics such as different characters along with the penguin like a polar bear and a parrot (in the making at the moment), along with new car models like a buggy and a spaceship to be added. Soon, translations will also be done for the game, which should help its global reach. Autumn (or Fall) is coming (for the northern hemisphere), meaning new themed tracks will also be added soon.

Thank you all for playing Ducks Can Drive, and all who have purchased the supporters pack.
Joey

Patch notes:
  • Adjusted the exit and settings buttons in the menu
  • Removed the checkbox from settings for the supporter pack car, and moved it to the cosmetic locker
  • A new locker menu where you can equip different car colours, car models, duck skins and hats.
    • Car colours (apart from red) will be unlocked after finding all the lorebooks
    • Duck skins (apart from white) will be unlocked through the v1.00-v2.00 track time trials
    • Duck hats (apart from no hat) will be unlocked through the v3.00+ track time trials
  • Added the Penguins Can Too DLC
  • Updated the Steam Store and Library assets.
