We've further expanded upon [Child Rearing] with this update, and you can now raise a child as a mother! We've also fixed some [Champion of Chaos] skills that weren't working, and tuned down a few of the more imbalanced skills for an overall better experience.
This update mostly targets the DLC, meaning that we're not changing the version number for this. We'll push it onto other platforms soon too.
Child Rearing - Expanded Story
Having gathered feedback from you all, we've decided to expand upon the [Child Rearing] content. With this update, those playing as a female character will be able to take on the role of a 'Mother' and all the joy it brings.
The story parts of child rearing are unique for female and male characters. A female character will be able to interact with their child to a greater extent, and even more story dialogue will be triggered if the child's father is also in the party.
Champion of Chaos - Sub-class Fixes + Skill Changes
Sub-Classes
[White Rose Medic]
1. White Rose Potion, Healing Remedy & Emergency Healing - Corrected the descriptions. 2. Heal & Revive - The skill now takes effect. Removed its erroneous trigger conditions and corrected its description. 3. Private Healer - The skill now takes effect. 4.Health Regen Potion - This skill can only trigger while the character is in your party. Adjusted the description.
[Merchant]
1. Selling On the Go, Jadeware Comprador & Hauling Bag - Corrected the descriptions. 2. Glib Tongue - The skill now takes effect. Corrected its description and altered its power. 3. Good Business Opportunity & Goods Peddling - This skill can only trigger while the character is in your party. Adjusted the descriptions. 4. Establishing Contacts - This skill can only trigger while the character is in your party, or triggering an event after a dialogue will have them join your party. Adjusted the description and return time (7 days → 2 days).
[Blacksmith]
1. Ore Mining & Logging - Corrected the descriptions. 2. Glib Tongue - The skill now takes effect. Corrected its description and altered its power. 3. Weapon Repair - This skill can only trigger while the character is in your party. Repair now has a 3-day cooldown. 4. Armor Maintenance - Now increases the Physical Damage Reduction of all heroes in the battle based on the skill's level (5%/level). 5. Weapon Sharpening - Now increases the Physical Attack of all heroes in the battle based on the skill's level (5%/level). 6. Gear Enhancement - Also takes effect for characters with the skill that are not in your team or faction. Fixed - This skill can only trigger while the character is in your party. Adjusted the cooldown (free once every 7 days → free once every 15 days). 7. Weapon Rumors - This skill can only trigger while the character is in your party. Changed the skill name (Weapon Rumors → Weapon Forging) and the description. Adjusted the cooldown (every 7 days → every 15 days), and added more possible gear types (4 types in total → 3 of every weapon type). 8. Weapon Refinement - This skill can only trigger while the character is in your party. No longer copies the item refined. Adjusted the dialogue and fixed a bug where canceling the refinement would still put the skill on cooldown. Adjusted the description and the cooldown (every 7 days → every 3 days).
[Alchemist]
1. Mass Regen Potion & Hemostatic Dressing - Corrected the descriptions. 2. Herb Gathering - Corrected the description and increased the number of herbs (3 → 15). 3. Potion Crafting - This skill can only trigger while the character is in your party. Replaced the Potion Crafting list and adjusted the description. 4. Medicine Concoction, Potion Brewing & Supreme Elixir - These skills can only trigger while the character is in your party. Adjusted the descriptions.
[Recruiter]
1. Rousing Speech - Adjusted the skill effect and description. The skill now grants EXP to one squad every 3 days. 2. Gathering of Heroes - Adjusted the skill effect and description. A low-cost squad now joins every 7 days. 3. Journey Recruitment - This skill can only trigger while the character is in your party. Adjusted the description. 4. March Efficiency & Veteran's Guidance - Corrected the descriptions. 5. Mercenary Snakehead & Worldly Wisdom - This skill can only trigger while the character is in your party. Adjusted the descriptions. 6. Arduous Journey - Adjusted the skill effect and description. There's a low chance that a high-level squad joins every 7 days.
Hero Skill Changes
1. [Spell Barrier] - Fixed a bug where this passive fully restores your mana when hit. 2. [Shoryuken·Zen] - Fixed an issue where the follow-up basic attack Shoryuken would override and nullify the first basic attack hit. 3. [Stratosphere] - Fixed an issue where switching with this skill had a chance to get stuck and prevent you from changing back again. 4. [Law of Life of Gold] - Fixed an issue where this passive didn't take effect. 5. [Fatal Slash] - Fixed a bug that prevented the skill from working. 7. [Treasure Thief] - Fixed a bug where there was only 1 gift. 8. [Shadow Dart] - Fixed a bug where this skill didn't increase in power with its skill level. 1. [Sword Oath] - Fixed a bug where this skill didn't increase in power with its skill level. 2. [Teasing of the Rich] - Fixed a bug where this skill didn't increase in power with its skill level. 3. [Gold Begets Gold] - Added a limit to how much Gold it can grant. 4. [Winter's March] - Fixed a bug regarding Ice Bolt hit counts. 5. [Time Shelter] - Fixed a bug where Najima would become impervious to damage right from the start. 6. [Future Foreshadowing] - Fixed a bug that prevented the passive from working.
Other Changes
1. Fixed a bug with Jamilla's weapon types. 2. Fixed a bug where Agura started with the wrong weapon type. 3. Fixed a bug where NPCs could get DLC Tournament gear out of thin air. 4. Fixed an issue where the 5 new characters from the DLC Tournament didn't have damage calculations in their damage skill descriptions on their skill pages. 5. Fixed a bug where the CARD_SELECTOR command couldn't be used as intended. 6. Adjusted some of Ember Ocher's skill effects, and fixed some skill descriptions to make them easier to understand.

Adjustments
Cancel the difficulty stats effect of the inner demon character in free difficulty. (Only for new save datas)
Cancel the acquisition of the Phoenix jade ornament by Stealing from Cai Youzhi, the item can be obtained by inviting Cai Youzhi for the first time.
Adjust the conditions for joining the Confucius Temple: Even if players fail the entry test, players can also join the Confucius Templet with the letter of recommendation from Qi Wang.

Upcoming campaigns
We are excited to announce two new campaigns for Easy Red 2!
As many of you know, we ran a poll a few months ago to ask you what campaigns you would like to see next. We received many interesting responses, with the most popular requests being for North Africa, Poland, France (early war), the Bulge, China, Market Garden, and Berlin.
It was difficult to choose which campaigns to develop next, but we ultimately decided on two new fronts: •Early War France: The Battle of Stonne •Battle in the Ardennes
We chose France in particular because it was a popular request from the beginning of development, and we wanted to choose a relatively known campaign but not covered in many games that took place near the Ardennes region. This allowed us to include some late-war Ardennes winter campaign content in the same package.
The two campaigns will take place in areas that are very close to each other, but they will be two separate maps. This allowed us to develop the campaigns quickly without delaying other work, such as the Switch updates, modding support, and ongoing improvements to the game. In fact, most of the work for the campaigns is already done!
I should also mention that we delayed announcing these campaigns because we originally planned to make them free updates. However, we ended up spending more money than expected on developing high-quality maps and missions. As a result, the campaigns will most likely be a paid DLC (two campaigns in one DLC). I will try to keep the price as low as possible, but it will ultimately depend on the final development costs.

New uniforms (French uniforms for Stonne and US winter uniforms for late war Ardennes), vehicles, weapons, and of course, the French faction will be included in the campaigns. We will be revealing vehicles and weapons are gonna be added during the next days inside our Work-in-progress challel in our Discord server, but in the meantime, let me already show a couple of them:

We don't have a specific release date yet, but it will likely be within the next couple months.
Unfortunately, uniforms are not yet moddable. We are working on this feature, but it is taking longer than expected because we are also completely reworking the TPS animations, and until we don't put the new TPS rig in game, allowing modding uniforms with the old system won't really make much sense. We will release more information about this as soon as possible.

Normandy Campaign

Nintendo Switch
We have finally released the new update for the Switch, which brings the game up to version 1.2.6. We have received positive feedback from Nintendo users about the new improvements, such as the improved stability and performance, and the new features, such as the Map & Mission Editor and the new weapons and vehicles.
The Normandy Campaign will be released for the Switch in the first half of September. The exact release date will vary by region, but normally it will be between the 4th and the 11th.
We keep improving all features of the base game and as always we will be going on listening to suggestions from people inside the Steam Discussions and the Discord server.
The updates for the base game we are constantly releasing are very expansive, so if you are interested on giving us a hand to make a better work, this is our Patreon. All the money raised from this will be spent to make a better game.
We have received reports of connectivity issues in the Frankfurt (Europe Server). We are currently looking into it and will try our best to find a solution to it as soon as possible.
In the meanwhile, please send us your reports along with your player logs to our Customer Support center so we can look more into it.

[Play Execution Issues] - Fixed a bug that only one state change was recovered at a time when the recovery conditions for multiple state changes were met at once.
- Fixed a bug that caused a white frame to appear around the player when a 2D stamp (billboard) with lighting set to OFF was assigned as the player's graphic.
- Fixed a bug that during game play, if the cursor was moved out of the window while holding down the right or middle mouse button, the pressed state would not be released.
[Battles] - Fixed a bug that caused an ally's battle KO state effect to appear twice during battle.
- Fixed a bug that caused the result screen to be very slow when the attribute of a class was set to "None".
- Fixed a bug that occasionally caused particles created with Effekseer to be skipped without being displayed when used in battle or in the "Display Effects" panel.
- Fixed a bug in which attack ranges were not applied correctly in center-click test plays or exported public works.
[Others] - Fixed a bug that caused particles and model textures to blink on and off in CPU built-in graphics environments on Intel 10th generation Core or later, which was caused by operational improvements in Ver. 1.3.2. We will continue our efforts to improve "RPG Developer Bakin".
