We're excited to bring you a range of Quality of Life (QoL) improvements based on user feedback and more:
  1. Zooming in and out is now easier than ever! Use your mouse scroll to adjust your view. Ever wanted to gaze into the eyes of the Reaper? Well, now's your chance!
  2. Customize the UI to your liking with our new UI scaling feature. We've also increased the base size of certain UI elements.
  3. Corpse explosions now scale dynamically according to unit size. Larger units will create explosions with a broader area of effect (damage stays the same).
  4. Dragons will descend to the ground if they meet their end while in flight.



We will now work on the demo balance. There are just too many bats.

Bomb Rush Cyberfunk - TR_Dion
Hey everyone, Dion here. We had a crazy good launch so here's a big thank you from the team to you for playing our game. Looking at the numbers we can see people spend 10 to 12 hours on a comfortable playthrough, double that for a 100%. But we are also happy to see people going wild with mods to get even more out of the game.

In this first patch we focused on fixing mostly technical issues. Still, we managed to sneak a new app onto your flip phone: Micro Boy. I'll tell you right now it doesn't give you anything in the game, but you can't really have a flip phone without a good mini game on it in my opinion.



Other than that some ease of use of the game has been improved as well. Rest assured we plan to tackle the information shown on the map and pause menu among other things in an upcoming patch.

  • Fixed Rise’s second challenge activating before the first challenge is completed
  • The game no longer halts execution when the game does not have focus
  • Increased speed at which you can skip a cutscene
  • Ensured player loads into the right scene after a crash during scene changes so that cutscenes and character/movestyles/phone app unlocks are not missed by any chance
  • Shader change for certain VFX used by enemies including turrets that caused crashes for certain players on older hardware
  • Fixed several memory leaks causing crashes

Here are all the new things I can remember off the top of my head...

- The game now pauses when you open the steam overlay (I think...)

- Very slight length increase to final stage

(Note that all the "hidden" achievements are not obtainable secrets, but rather nonfunctional achievements I have yet to entirely implement)

    *The expiration for the above items expiring before the end of this scheduled maintenance has been extended by 6 hours from the original expiration.

  • Characters that completed the application for Ship Transfer before the beginning of the scheduled maintenance have been transferred.

    *Ship transfers during scheduled maintenance are processed in the order that they are received. There is a limit to the number of transfers that can be performed during each maintenance, and if the maximum number of applications is reached, applications will be rolled over to the next scheduled maintenance.

  • When logging into PSO2 Blocks, each character’s location will be set to the Gate Area.

Fixing numerous existing bugs proved to be challenging, primarily because many of them were reliant on both the client's network and the photon servers we utilized. Several bugs proved to be nearly impossible to rectify, as we lacked the ability to adjust the server's behavior in specific scenarios. After two years of dedicated efforts to explore alternative solutions for these issues, we developed a novel synchronized loading system. This system involves conducting a swift check of all participants' data after each round, guaranteeing a seamless start for everyone in the subsequent round and preventing any data loss due to timing issues. Moreover, this approach ensures that individuals who join ongoing matches have accurate data tracking, mitigating the risk of encountering corrupted data.

We are still hard at work on Universe for Sale! Over the weekend we had so many players visit the booth, and play Universe for Sale at Gamescom! We’re absolutely delighted with the reception- Big thank you to everyone who came by, and visited our booth!

We were over the moon to see everyone trying out Universe for Sale and experiencing the story on Jupiter! Being able to showcase this game in front of fans at an event as large as Gamescom was a pleasure. We appreciate all the feedback we have received at Gamescom! We are already using the feedback given to discuss how we can improve Universe for Sale before launch.
