Tales & Tactics - Vex'd
For anyone who encountered corrupt save issues that prevented them from playing (I.E. "BulkData" error), this build contains a fix. Sorry for the inconvience!

Hi everyone! This patch focuses primarily on bug fixes, but we've also taken more and more precautions to try and improve performance - including some FPS-smoothing measures and temporarily removing the Compendium displaying the selected unit, as it was taking up more resources than expected.

Updated Chinese localization to match content, typo fixes and other changes.

Fixed an issue where Blobert wouldn't appear in the Compendium and could not be found in the Unit Store.

Fixed an issue where a Fiery Hydra's bonus Spell Damage was based on the target's Attack Damage, not its own.

Fixed an issue where the Triple Caster bonus still referred to Magicians.

Fixed an issue where revived Skeletons would become unaffected by Druid of Harmony.
Fixed an issue where revived Skeletons would become unaffected by Overtime.

Fixed an issue where, after completing a run and starting another, the Map would display the previous runs' data.

Fixed an issue where certain Events still depicted Champions who weren't present.

Fixed text issues on many Blessings, Events, Items and Unit Skills.
Renamed the Book Monster trait to Tome to prevent going offscreen in certain cases.

Fixed an issue where Dweller Pivot offered a non-Dweller unit.

Fixed an issue where units could be stuck polymorphed into a Sheep forever (as funny as it was)
Fixed an issue where Blood could still distribute Banners; in addition, clarified that it now only delivers Completed Items.

Fixed an issue where Statues and Legend units would stop appearing after save and load.

The Dragon Egg's progress towards hatching is now preserved across save and load.
Fixed an issue where the Dragon Egg had 5 Maximum Mana rather than 3.

Changed the safeguard for 'dice stuck rolling' result from 20 to a random value. We were expecting this to come up infrequently; with it being common, we're preferring to not give fully free wins in Dungeons.

Removed the Compendium's unit display temporarily, as it was causing a large amount of GPU usage.

Further reduced some settings and graphics to help improve performance.

Fixed an issue where Chester would spit out units into his own hex.

Fixed an issue where, if going from the 2nd stage of a Trait to the 1st, 1st stage effects could also be lost in some cases. This was responsible for disappearing Aqua Bubbles, Trickster Items, Flame Marks, Royal Crowns, Dragon Tier Ups and more.

Fixed an issue where, on low-mana casters, Orb of Flame could grant hundreds of Spell Power instead of single-digit values.

Fixed an issue where you could enter a half-dead state from buying two Cursed units in short succession.

Fixed an issue where Event-only units with special Traits wouldn't appear in the Compendium.

Sealed Scroll now temporarily grants 150 Starting Mana. We're planning on a special fix that will allow it to preserve existing Starting Mana, but this temporary fix will keep it usable in Dweller and Stalker comps.

Fixed many issues where Bonus Rewards from any outside effects wouldn't occur in the Tournament, including Perk bonuses, Tricky items and Divine Blessings. Vault rewards will still not be provided at this time while we work on a new system.

Fixed an issue where the Adaptive Scrappers bonus was granting +180 Attack Speed instead of +18.

Fixed remaining locations where the Caster archetype was still referred to as Magicians.

Fixed issues where you could obtain the Scroll of Stories depite being at Vault Level 4.

Fixed an issue where Stone Crabs and Gargoyle Socket Gem were granting Curse in an outdated fashion.

Fixed an issue where Boss units in the Unit Store would be displayed with their Boss trait, when they wouldn't actually have it.

Fixed an issue where the Assembly Line "Sharpest Blade" item had an additional, unintended bonus effect.

Added additional tracking for certain Unlock-related Achievements: if you previously missed out on one, see if you receive it for good on your next launch of the game.

The Cursed Tapestry item can now be used on ANY unit, not just foes. This is a temporary change.

Added an exception for a situation where you have all Crowd Control potions and the enemy is using Reptile stage II.

Fixed an issue where a second, stronger Pauldron of Mi'Lo was in the item pool in Shops and Events.

Hello!

We're proud to announce the release of v1.05 of RivenWorld (AKA the August Update). This update has taken many late nights, countless cups of coffee, and some sweat and tears. With this update, we're releasing our very first devlog! Feel free to watch the devlog for information on the update, or feel free to read the change notes below!

Visual Upgrades
For a long time, we've had players say textures were blurry and the game was not optimized, we took time this past month to learn more about UE5 and how we can make sure players get the most out of the visuals in RivenWorld. With this, we have done a complete overhaul of the visuals and the world!



New Resource Nodes
Since we launched RivenWorld people have mentioned the resource nodes did not fit the environment, so now we've upgraded them with new models and textures!



Farming
That is right! We've added farming into RivenWorld, you can till anywhere in the world and plant seeds you find from foraging. We're going to be working on a minor update to add more support for farming, adding a water pump to hydrate soil, and a seed station to smash seeds out of fruit!

Looting & Loot Boxes
The 2nd most requested feature has been loot boxes and a looting mechanic, we've added a simple loot box system. This will spawn random loot boxes around the world for players to find, loot boxes are broken up into low, mid, and high-grade loot boxes.

Hey folks!

We're still grinding away addressing all the feedback we've received on the demo so far. While we are making these changes, we have disabled the demo -- and we will reactivate it once the new patch is ready!

The updates are taking a bit longer because the team is taking some time to recoup from our day jobs and dev work. But we will have an update out in the next couple of weeks!

The two primary changes we are doing are graphics/lighting updates to improve visibility and make key moments clearer AND tutorialization to better explain core mechanics. There are also other changes to:
  • Improvements to doors and drawers.
  • Improvements to clarity for traps.
  • Scare improvements.

I'll be putting out another post with details on the changes closer to the demo patch!

ANNOUNCEMENT:

We are happy to inform everyone who has been waiting for us to give some feedback on our games were abouts, that we are officially wrapping up Alpha testing and all players on steam will have the chance later next month to strap in and drop in the midst of an ongoing battle. Over the next couple of days will be sharing screenshots and gameplay taken from players that was conducted during open alpha testing.
We had alot of delays due to Unreal engine 5.1 being super unstable and we have had the oppertunity to upgrade the game finially to unreal engine 5.2.1. Firestorm Deadlands will be heading up to steamworks team for validation to be cleared for early access development only.

Corruption of Champions II - Krayt
This patch is a bit of a hodge-podge of small projects -- new sets for companions, a new milker you or your friends can use, a smattering of new scenes, and finally fixing up the Captain's Greatsword -- while our lead coder's hard at work putting Wsan's magnum opus of minofucking to code. It's something like 600 pages, and probably gonna occupy a a whole patch all its own just trying to contain the sheer girth Wsan’s fit into that project!

Meanwhile I'm nearing the finish line on writing the next bit of the main story quest, maybe a third to a quarter of that left to go!

0.6.18 Patch Notes:
  • Gianna’s ratfolk buddy Svern now has a milking machine he can let you and your friends use. Accessing it requires the Wayfort first be fully upgraded. The PC, Cait, Brienne, and Zhara can use it right now! More to come!
  • If Zhara’s moved into the Wayfort and you have Brint in your party, you can grab some of the random harpy thieves out of your rafters and use them to show Brint a good time (and double the local harpy population too)!
  • Cait has a new set: the Vestal's Raiment, making her a self-healing tank that can stand on the frontlines with aplomb. Check in with Ogrish after completing Cait's quest and either refusing the temple or building it to acquire her new set and a thank-you treat from the smith and Ivris.
  • Azzy has a new set: the Lightbearer, giving Azzy some healing power while keeping her knightly personality. Acquired by talking to Cait at the Frost Hound after completing both her quest AND Azzy's recruitment quest.
  • The Corrupted Lupines have a new loss scene if Cait's in your party and you lose/surrender. Has a 1/3 chance of playing.
  • Imora & Seastone have new anal sex options: fuck Imora’s butt, fuck Seastone’s butt, or fuck Imora’s butt while Seastone fucks yours.
  • Sanders now has an early-game quest pointing you towards helping Eryka — you haven’t missed anything if you already got her, but it adds a little worldbuilding and bumps her encounter rate while active. Mostly it’s just there to put a big ! on Sanders at the start of the game so people don’t accidentally miss him, which seems to happen more often than you’d think!
  • Sanders also has a new talk about Eryka once she’s rescued.
  • You can now talk to Jael’yn about her sword, and find the missing charms. Each charm you find empowers the blade further.
  • There’s a new Shamanic-themed Wayfort furniture set for sale.
  • The Effigies in the Old Forest have been revamped after you subdue their mom. If you killed her, they disappear.
  • A whole host of balance adjustments and bugfixes!
  • New Busts: Kalysea, Xadaron, and the Fungal Amalgam
