The roadmap outlines the biggest milestones, which are going to be broken down into specific features, upgrades and new content as we go. And obviously, the game will be updated much more often between those bigger drops.

We’ll have an additional Dev Stream tomorrow, on Tuesday (10am EST | 4pm CET | 11pm JST), where we'll spill the beans about the game's future development. We'll also be available to answer your questions! Find us here on Steam and on our Twitch channel.

Your feedback is one of the key elements in our decision making process when it comes to dev roadmap. So, over the next few weeks, we'll be analyzing your comments and suggestions. Please don't hold back! Let us know all your thoughts if you have something to share.

After collecting opinions and suggestions over the past season, we have found that the game itself has many flaws and problems in its settings.

Through the evaluation of team technology, we may not be able to optimize and fix all issues and defects in the next season.

But we are still able to extract from these optimizable items the modules, systems, and numerical optimizable points that we believe are very important and can be optimized.

All optimization plans listed below are currently limited to foresight, and we will reserve the possibility of subsequent modifications. Please also keep an eye on the update time and log of this announcement at any time (usually listed at the bottom of the update log)



System optimization:

1. Season ranking optimization

In the new season, we will cancel all season level ranking mechanisms. In order to better provide ranking services for all users without causing any inconvenience to everyone.

Our future plan is to only develop independent ranking systems for some systems, such as the Hakka Tournament, Six Trial Racing, Seven Sect Martial Arts Competition Points in the Challenge Arena, and the Ultimate Sword Ranking.



2. Game interface optimization

For some interfaces, we will conduct a series of efficiency optimizations in the new season. After optimization, the overall operational efficiency can be improved by about 35% compared to the pre season.



3. Guidance task optimization

Considering the addition of more PVE levels (Chivalry 1-9) in the new season, we plan to redo a series of optimizations for novice guidance tasks. At the same time, it will also make the market exit more visible (UI oriented), and the actual UI button will also be used to replace the ghost side.



4. Season Start Optimization

After a season of training, Xiaoliu and Xiaodie will reappear in the new season's inn with a new appearance (purple quality) and exceptional qualifications. We plan to use the season's main storyline missions to continuously guide players to solve the mystery of the Tongtian Tower with Little Liu Yi, and ultimately connect the eight channels to become a generation of heroes. Meanwhile, other experts from various factions will also unlock and join your inn through different side quests. These experts are all first-class experts in the Jianghu (with unparalleled qualifications) and outstanding characteristics (5-6).



5. Storyteller optimization

Increase the number of Xiake features that appear in the recruitment of storytellers; Reduce the cost of recruitment refresh under high trust levels (4 and 5); At level 4, there will no longer be unqualified, dull, or mediocre likes, while at level 5, there will only be knights with top-notch qualifications and top-notch qualifications.



6. Optimization of stall trading

The stall obtained by the hidden label in the Loulan Market will no longer lock in characters, and the owner can change the character they want to continue setting up the stall at any time. At the same time, in order to avoid various crouching accidents, we also provide a key purchase function for all vendors. Only buyers who enter the correct key can buy the products locked by the vendors.



7. Ghost Market Trading Optimization

When the commodity is listed on the exchange, it will display the latest market transaction or lowest selling price of the item, facilitating the owners to set a reasonable price before listing.



8. Optimization of backpack system

We plan to subtract from the existing belt and backpack systems, and in the new season, both belts and backpacks will no longer appear. Instead, it has a default 8-compartment belt and a 40 compartment backpack capacity. Players no longer have to worry about buying backpacks after each loss.

Given this change plan, the recipe for making backpacks will also be removed. Tongtian boxes and large cabinets will appear in the form of advanced storage containers in the future.



9. Optimization of birth equipment

In the preliminary season, we found that "white equipment" was relatively redundant, and players were rushing back and forth between stores to purchase basic equipment for entering the ghost side. This optimization plan is similar to Article 8, mainly aiming to reduce the operational steps and threshold for players to re-enter the map through this change.

Further simplify the time and steps for players from leaving the map to entering the map. Of course, the white equipment in the iron shop will also be removed.



10. Malicious teaming optimization

After accumulating experience and data in the pre season, we plan to launch a new malicious team evaluation mechanism in the new season. It will combine multiple dimensions such as player reporting, data validation, and player evaluation to confirm malicious teaming behavior.

The evaluation criteria for malicious teaming in the new season will also be adjusted from the early need to confirm the motivation for matching to the evaluation mechanism where multiple different players report and confirm player evaluations within a certain period of time. At the same time, the punishment rules for malicious teaming will also be updated in detail.

If judged for the first time, it will take 72 hours to enter the Overlord map, if judged for the second time, it will not be able to enter Chivalry, if judged for the third time, it will not be able to enter the Overlord+Chivalry+Market and Ghost Market, and if judged for the fourth time, it will be directly frozen for 72 hours. The specific details will be discussed with the subsequent player evaluation organization before being released.



11. Optimization of matching mechanism

In order to ensure the smooth development of the "martial arts rookies" who have entered the Jianghu at the beginning of the new season, we plan to optimize the matching mechanism of the dominant part of the map after the start of the new season. Among them, Ba Dao 1, Ba Dao 2, and Ba Dao 3 "Wulin Rookie" will not encounter "Wulin Senior" before a certain number of innings.

Wulin rookie=the owner who purchased and created an inn on the season server after August 1st (including August 1st). Wulin Senior=The owner who purchased and created an inn on the season server before August 1st, as well as the Wulin rookie who was officially brought into the Great Wall by the "Jianghu Guide" in the new season.



12. Production system optimization

Reduce the difficulty of upgrading production professions at levels 1-6 and slightly reduce the experience required for upgrading at levels 7-10; Simplify or remove some production formulas; Optimize the formula for the richness of material usage; Optimize the sales prices of finished products.



13. Optimization of caravan commerce

In order to ensure a smooth start for the team at the beginning of the season, we plan to increase the weekly revenue ceiling by a certain percentage, while further optimizing the material content purchased by the sports merchant team. Afterwards, in addition to purchasing some initial supplies, the caravan will also acquire a series of rare supplies.



Level optimization:

Xiadao series map optimization:

1. Xiadao 1-6 drop optimization to increase the output of basic materials;

2. Optimization of Xiadao matching rules, Xiadao will not match other players in the new season;

3. Reconstruction of levels 4, 5, and 6 of Chivalry, adding new bosses and guaranteed drops;

4. Xiadao 7, 8, and 9 have added three difficulty options, namely: Daylight (suitable for single players but with low material loss rate), Burial Moon (with high difficulty and good material loss rate), and Blood Robbery (with extremely high difficulty and considerable material loss and limited material loss);

5. The strength of all Chivalrous bot monsters has been adjusted, resulting in a significant decrease in their HP and an increase in their damage.



Overlord series map optimization:

1. The difference in hegemonic intensity is reduced (attribute upper limit; most of the characteristic hegemonic is invalid; eight pulse hegemonic is invalid);

2. All equipment produced in Overlord are exclusive to Overlord (without any entries and with variable attributes). After identification, these equipment can be directly traded or set up stalls, or sold as Blood Essence to Ghost City [Li Yan].

3. Improve the total output type and quantity of hegemonic resources, and reconstruct the drop of hegemonic bosses and luxury houses (for better drop);

4. Increase the killing experience of bots and bosses by 50% for domineering attacks;

5. Optimize domineering tactical props, adjust some tactical prop functions, and add several pursuit, immobilization, camouflage, traps, summoning, hidden weapons, and master keys;

6. Overlord 1 temporarily increases HP and internal power by 500, Overlord 2 by 800, and Overlord 3 by 1200;

7. Overlord 1 has fixed martial arts at level 2, Overlord 2 has fixed martial arts at level 4, and Overlord 3 has fixed martial arts at level 6 (even skill level 1 will increase to the corresponding level);

8. Restrict the upper limit of all recovery drugs that can be brought into the domineering map, changing the lengthy pace of drug use battles.



Reward Quest Optimization:

1. In the storyteller reward quest, defeating other inn heroes will all be optimized to kill bosses of different difficulty levels such as Heroes 7, 8, and 9. The waist token quest will also be adjusted to correspond to specific items dropped by the boss.



Task system optimization:

The new season will feature a series of main storyline tasks and branch puzzle solving tasks. Some of these tasks can help Xiao Liu connect with the adventures of the eight meridians, while others can obtain specific features of the new season. (Task Limitation)
