The Ship Events Update is now officially out! Our apologies being a bit late with our release, we ran into some last second issues and miscommunications that ended up delaying the release of this update a little.

There's some bits of content that we wanted to include in this update that we had to axe in the interest of time, mainly some minor Thrall assets and an item that allows heroes to change affiliation to Faithless. We'll likely be adding them in supplementary updates in the next couple weeks, along with a slew of balance updates and bug fixes.

Hello everyone!
We appreciate the patience you've given us as we've been investigating this save issue. We believe we have found the cause, and we're here today with a hotfix that we believe will resolve the save issues you've been experiencing.
At present, we believe the issue came up due to the way in which the game was handling initial save files - that is, demo save files had the potential to cause issues with players games if they had them, including crashes. To prevent this, the system is taught to wipe these initial saves to ensure you don't encounter crashes and an unplayable game. However, the way in which the system detects these saves made an error, causing it to identify your first new saves as potential demo saves.
This also accounts for why players do not and have not (at least from our reports) encountered the issue again. We've made adjustments to how the system checks these files and are pushing this build now.
You should take care not to load any saves from your demo playthrough as it will likely cause issues. Overwriting those saves with new games will ensure everything runs smoothly.
Collision handling with water and the VFX have been vastly improved. Airburst variant of the Mk82 and dud munitions have been added. New evening lighting effects!
