Hello everyone! Today we're going to talk about what's going on with the development of our project - AURA: Hentai Cards.
As you know, we recently released a demo, after which we’ve collected feedback from our players and are changing the game to reflect player feedback!
The most important thing we have learned from the feedback is that our battle game turned out to be too random and as such players couldn't choose any strategy, so we decided to completely change the card battle mechanics.
Now everything will depend on your skill and not randomness!
We've also fixed a ton of bugs, updated all the cards and added some new features, which we'll tell you about tomorrow!
By the way, the release of the new version is in a few hours, but quiet - it's a secret for those who read the posts to the end!
I thought it was about time to start recreating the smaller maps using the newer technology that I'm using for the big 32-biome map. This technology will allow me to make non-destructive edits to the terrain and any time I want to change something I won't risk messing anything up with the terrain. This also allows me to have more than 1 major biome, surrounded by a beach, surrounded by ocean like the smaller maps currently have. This will also allow me to start making more interesting maps by adding more detail to the terrain and having multiple biomes mixed together. I'm starting things off with the Savage Lands map.
1. Added BOT AI to PVP Map Cyberdust so you always have someone to fight and fight with. Check it out, lets us know your thoughts and we will be adding to the other PVP maps and (elsewhere)
2. Added an experimental feature that allows you to spawn the “Riff Browser”and harness the power of the web in game! To find it go to Settings>Experimental and Open Riff Browser
3. Addressed an issue that was causing Molly Millions to give players the silent treatment.
Chapter IV - Far Off Places is out now! This is what you can expect from this major update:
3-5 hours of content.
Main story quest: Journey north towards the Weald of the World Tree, venturing through a haunted forest, a colorful canyon, and through wintry mountains.
Tons of side quests: Find the missing children in a lava-filled cave, unite a skeleton pup and his mother, help an old man sell his colorful couture, meet a Ratatoski knight with an eloquent vocabulary, and more!
New areas: Explore the spooky Hallowoods, the colorful Rhodela Canyon, visit the beach-side village of Sollon, climb the treacherous Valaiz Mountains, and more.
1 new Guise to unlock: Finish the quest to unlock the Spellblade, a damage and support Guise that uses blades infused with powerful elemental magick.
New achievements and collectibles to pad your Collectivus.
And the teaser if you haven't seen it:
There are also various bugfixes for this update:
Fixed a few bugs with Trickster, Songhammer, and Spellblade Guises.
Reverted menu speed change for now because it causes issues with player speed.
Fixed misc. issues with teleporting, NPCs blocking areas, etc.
As always, please make various saves in case any issues occur, and join the Discord (http://discord.gg/cT8dzvxycr) to report any bugs.

Gameplay: - Player attributes are now saved throughout a match for all players on the server, including spectators. This ensures that switching sessions and logging back in won't allow changes to attributes for the duration of that match. This change was implemented to prevent players from adjusting their strategies based on the evolving match situation. Key benefits of this update include: * Fair Play: Ensures a level playing field by keeping attribute changes consistent. * Strategy Integrity: Protects the integrity of each team's pre-match strategic planning. * Enhanced Gameplay Experience: Players can focus on in-match tactics without the distraction of external attribute changes. * Reduced Exploitation: Closes potential loopholes where players might seek advantages by logging out and back in.
- Player stamina values are now persistently saved for every player on the server throughout the ongoing match. If players disconnect and then log back in, their stamina will revert to the previous saved values. This also applies when switching teams and works independently from Stamina Join Mode configuration. This change ensures consistency and fairness in gameplay.
Graphics: - The Football Stadium has received a significant upgrade with enhanced environmental details, improved graphics, and fresh texture additions.
UI: - Added a "Restore Defaults" button to the Settings Menu - Settings no longer needed to be manually applied when changing them. - Various UI changes, color and contrast improvements. - Improved chat contrast and font. - Fixed chat interface errors. - Fixed duplicate timeout vote interface. - Added a new "Chargeable Button" to avoid misclicking on Stop Match.
Other: - Fixed ban length error - Fixed "Already in session" warning when trying to connect to a server after leaving another session.
