Fixed static variables for player health, fuel Adjusted fuel rate to be half as much Moved all start emails to the “Deleted” folder. Saved games will look weird because you'll have duplicate emails in Inbox and Deleted, but new games should be good. Adjust R-01 friction rate so it’s smoother when sliding across.
Hey all! This version brings a host of bug changes and issue fixes! We're honing in on release!!
Version 0.6.01 change notes:
Increased the train boss's health.
Fixed a bug where you could defeat the train miniboss too fast and the train would not destroy.
Pressing the fire button during the credits sequence will now make the credits scroll faster.
Added a timer and total enemy kill count to the end game screen.
Fixed an issue where the paramedic bot and confidence body spray would not be active after entering the final level.
Fixed an issue where the player low health smoke would continue after finishing the game and into the credits.
Fixed an issue where the player's thruster sprites would render behind some objects unintentionally
Corrected a few UI elements to render properly under the CRT filter when the CRT filter is enabled.
Experience drops now auto sum, and drop in denominations of 20's, 5's and 1's. This is meant to reduce the number of exp drops on screen at one time, improving performance when a large amount of exp drops at once.
Karen bosses will now drop a small amount of health restoration items depending on how far in the game you are.
Drop rates for health items and rockets are slightly increased.
Adjusted enemy health rate curves to give more enemy health in later stages.
Adjusted exp curve higher for later levels.
Decreased the exp drops for repeating prefabs in boss situations such as Marva's orbs, and Jordan's swag.
Increased the rate at which health drops from enemies after buying the upgrade in the shop.
Added a push back collider on the right side of the screen during phase 1 and 2 of the final boss fight
Boosted player damage slightly during the final phase of Marva's fight.
Grenades will now seek Marva's hand properly
New sprite created for Tiffany's hammer bullet projectiles.

First of all you can expect to see some performance improvements. While the performance is better, a lot of work still needs to be done before the full release. In the meantime, this will hopefully help some of you that have been struggling. There are some changes you can make in the settings that should also help. First, I have added an option to change the Window Mode, running the game in Exclusive Fullscreen tends to yield better performance. Another thing you can do is adjust the LOD scale and the grass detail. Turning these down should increase the frame rate.
I have also made some changes to some of the early game mechanics to hopefully make the game more intuitive and fun. First of all I’ve changed some things about the UI to hopefully make the existence of the Tech Tree more obvious. The spawn rate of citizens has also been increased in the early game, to speed things up and keep the player from feeling like they are stuck waiting for more citizens. Several other changes have also been made to the game balance, however, the overall effect on the gameplay shouldn’t be too dramatic. Some things did need to be readjusted in the Tech Tree, so you might notice some Techs have moved around. When starting a new game you should also notice a lot more Stone Deposits. Having stone nearby is an important early game requirement so hopefully players won’t have to travel to find it.
Many other changes have been made that you can find in the patch notes below. Be sure to follow Wildwood and Thermal Expansion games on social media for more updates!
I want to thank those of you that have already given your feedback on the game. A lot of the changes below are a direct result of that feedback. I really want to get as much feedback as possible to make Wildwood as great as it can be. The Wildwood Steam Community page is a great place give that feedback, as I almost always have that page open while I am working. If you find a bug be sure to submit a bug report! Make sure to include as many details as possible on how you found the bug, so that I can track it down and get it fixed quickly.
Thank you, Ben
Game Balance: Changed the crafting recipe for Leather Strips from 1 Leather -> 2 Leather Strips to 1 Leather -> 3 Leather Strips Changed the crafting recipe for Stone Tools from 2 Stone Bricks -> 1 Stone Tool to 1 Leather Strip, 1 Wood Plank, 1 Stone Brick -> 1 Stone Tool Increased the time required to catch Lobster Slightly increased the time required to catch Fish Slightly Increased the drop rate for animals in a pen Adjusted the algorithm for resource node spawning: Increased the Stone Deposit spawn rate Decreased the Iron Deposit Spawn rate Decreased the Coal Deposit Spawn Rate Increased the Citizen spawning rates during the early game. Adjusted the upgrade and build cost for the Train Station
Tech tree changes: Moved Leather Strips to an earlier position in the tech tree The Simple Train engine has been added as an unlock and has is unlocked after unlocking steel The Train Station is now unlocked before unlocking Steel. This will allow the player to start placing their tracks while they are working on unlocking the Simple Train Engine The Gatherer Tech now requires Mushrooms instead of Cabbages to unlock Orange Juice is now unlocked when the Bistro unlocks
Bug Fixes: Fixed a bug where animals in a pen would wander off Fixed a bug where the Workplace Window wouldn’t update when a new workplace had been built Performance Improvements: Reduced poly count of all the crops Reduced the texture size of all the crops Reduced poly count of all the trees Adjusted the material for the animals to be simpler Made some changes to the UI that should improve performance Made some changes to the pathfinders to improve performance
Options Menu Changes: Added an option to adjust the Window Mode. By default this is set to Exclusive Fullscreen. Exclusive Fullscreen tends to yield better performance Added an option to adjust the display resolution Added an option to Confine the Cursor to the game window Changed default Hide UI input from [LALT] to [RALT]
UI: Changed the follow icon to a magnifying glass, adjusted the description of the tooltip as well
Misc: Trains and wagons now stop for a random time between 5 and 15 seconds instead of just 10 seconds. This will reduce the chance that they will travel on top of each other Made some changes that should make Tech Tree more obvious to new players Changed track rotation to use the rotate input ([R] by default) instead of right click. Should eliminate any chance of the player accidentally rotating the track while navigating the world. Moved the version number on the main menu to above the social media icons
Changed how version numbers work v1 - Major update .1 - Minor Update that has been pushed to the Default branch .0 - Update that has been pushed to the Beta Branch. This branch can be skipped if I feel the changes made in the alpha branch don’t need to be tested in the beta branch .3 - Update that has been pushed to the Alpha Branch. This branch definitely has bugs, but if you want to help contribute to the development of Wildwood this is the branch to be in
Known issues: Loading trains can cause the game to hang Please submit bug reports as you find them! Be sure to include as many details as possible so that I can track them down and get them fixed

Add custom voice wake-up keyword settings for each character. Setup setp: Click the 'Edit' button on the character list interface or click right-click-popup-menu to edit, then in the opened character editing window, select the 'Custom Wake-up' page. At the bottom, you can use the keyboard or voice to input multiple keywords that can wake up this character. This significantly increases the voice wake-up recognition rate.
Add nickname setting for characters: In the character editing, you can set a nickname separately for the current character on the character configuration page
