Today's devlog is more of a question than an update.
Starting next month, I'm going to be saddled with real life responsibilities for the foreseeable future. Development of the game is going to slow down significantly. (Stop boo'ing! I'm way sadder about this than you are!!)
My question to you is...
Would you rather wait until the game is fully complete, or would you like to play episode 2 as soon as possible?
I could finish up episode 2, and release the game in Early Access. Depending on how it goes, I might be able to do other content updates between then and release.
Much like episode 1, episode 2 has its own arc and a conclusion, without ending the whole story.
If there is little interest in this, I will just press on and release the full game whenever it's ready. Which is sometime in 2024.
I don't have or use social media, and the only discussions I periodically check these days are the ones on Steam. So if you want your opinion to be heard, you'll have to post it here. I'll read what you write, weigh the interest, and share my decision in the next dev log.
So Early Access, yay or nay?? Comment your input.

Hi all, Our magnificent writers Jonas and Verena Kyratzes, gameplay designer Davor Tomicic, and game designer Davor Hunski had the pleasure of chatting with Joel Goodwin of Thinky Games during the latest Cerebral Puzzle Showcase.
In this exclusive video, they shared some insight into new gameplay mechanics, how this sequel connects to the previous game, what makes a Talos game in the first place, and much more.
Hair of the Dog was a short adventure game I created for AdvXJam back in 2020. It was created in twelve days, so was a little rough around the edges, but pipped Lucy Dreaming to the post as the first game I ever released on Steam. In that respect it was a great test-run, paving the way for Lucy two years later.
Hair of the Dog has enjoyed over 25,000 downloads on various platforms since it was released, and I have received hundreds of messages and reviews from people all over the world requesting a full length version.
Heir of the Dog will return to the fog-covered streets of Victorian London to expand on the life of Cummerbund Bandersnatch and his curious condition.
Demo coming soon!
The demo is tantalisingly almost finished, with the voices being recorded as I type, but that shouldn't stop anyone from adding it to their wishlist (we all know how the Steam algorithm loves a wishlist!)
The demo is predominantly a recreation of the original Game Jam game from 2020 so, if you've played it before, the majority of the puzzles and dialogue will be familiar to you, but I have applied everything I learned whilst developing Lucy Dreaming in terms of the improved UI, controller support and artwork. So, even if you have met Cummerbund before, why not clear the fog with a stroll down Memory Lane when the demo is released.

Our team is actively preparing for the Wall World: Deep Threat release, which is why we have made this update for the base game.
This update is mostly a technical patch, with its main purpose being to lay the foundation for the upcoming release because initially, the architecture of Wall World hadn’t been adapted for future DLCs.
Several planned improvements for the DLC will also be incorporated into the main game. Here are the details of these changes:
Changed the balance for the seismic generator, induction amplifier, and bomb, making them more useful.
Changed the animation for speeding up spider jump preparation.
