Changes
Added Portuguese (BR) to the game. You can change your language settings by going to the Menu > System > Gameplay > and then adjust your language settings.
Added Portuguese (BR) to the Steam Page.
Also, we updated the game image! Let us know how you feel about the new image as we have another one coming up soon!

DNA are buffs you search for in-world or earn by completing missions. You evolve them from common to epic and install up to 3 of them. They are designed for you to select your playstyle. For example, a DPS soldier may use Weapon Gas Damage + Reload Speed + Range. A tank may use Player HP + Support DNA. A harvester may use Grappling range + Enemy coins DNA. A builder may use Tower Gas Damage + Tower HP DNA.
Manual Reload
Manual reload is probably the most asked for feature and we finally implemented it. Since manual reload uses both hands, thereby losing the ability to dual-wield weapons, the DPS reward must be big. So, if you manually reload your weapon, you can continuously fire your weapon, unleashing a bullet storm onto enemies. Manually reloading a weapon also tops up the magazine so you never lose ammo.
The Anti Gravity Launcher
Introducing the first weapon found in-world, the Anti-gravity launcher. While searching for DNA, there’s a 25% chance you’ll find this powerful weapon. Send the mutants to space!
Target Strong and Overcharge
Strategists can now program towers to target the strongest enemy. They also can overcharge towers. An overcharged tower gets ludicrous damage, range, and HP, until it self-destructs 45 seconds later.
Mid-air Explosions
Strategists can now explode arrows mid-air using the trigger! Just upgrade you bow to rare to get rid of those pesky flying cowboys!
New Main Menu
The new main menu has a bedroom where you select a hero, a big lab, and a terminal. At the center is a spore tree that shows you the number of spores you’ve collected by completing missions. The lab features 3D weapons and storage shelves and a DNA section where you can evolve and install DNA.
We are looking for 50 playtesters for BioFusion, an upcoming co-op multiplayer, PvE, first-person-shooter, tower defense game. With 4 players per map, you can play with 3 friends or get matched with 3 random players. The map table will show you rooms available in 3 difficulties: Easy, Normal, and Hard. I suggest starting with Easy, which can be soloed. You’ll want 3-4 players on Hard.
The playtest will officially start on August 18, 2023 at 10am (Pacific Standard Time) end on September 30,2023 at 12 midnight (PST). It may last few days longer depending on the bugs you uncover.

Playtesting will have 5 maps: Hangar, Orchard, River, Underground River, and Forest, plus the required Tutorial scene. Attack City and Defend City will be added next year.
During the playtest you are allowed to share, record, or broadcast playtest content or gameplay. However, aspects of BioFusion may change between playtest and launch, which may cause captured footage to become outdated.
BioFusion is server authoritative. Many mechanics are client-predicted for added immersion but there will be small delays when doing stuff like building, telekinesis, or buying ammo, because the client must ask the server’s permission.
We would love to gather as much feedback as possible from you so don't hold back and let us know about your thoughts on the game, the mechanics and all things that come to your mind. Your progress will be reset at the end of playtesting to start everyone with a clean slate on launch. If you have played Ash of Legends, the progress does not transfer to BioFusion. After rigorous judging between our staff and Orange Juice's, the winners of Community Card Pack 4 artworks have been chosen!
We had a record number of 196 entries this time, so obviously there were many excellent submissions that didn't even make it to the top3 in tough competition, which is always heartbreaking to see. However, we hope many of those will also be made available in the Steam Workshop, so you can support your favorite artist there.
There can only be one winner in each category, but we are showcasing the top 3 for each card to give a better idea of the very top of the race. In addition we're again highlighting an "Editor's Pick" for each category, which is a submission that received several top scores but didn't make the top 3 due to mixed votes.
The winning entries will receive a fitting flavor text from Orange Juice, and will be added to the game in a future update, likely in September. At that time, the winners will also receive the Contest Winner and Contributor in-game pins!
