Emerald Bear Release
We released the Emerald Bear, 1.2.0 Update for PC on July 25th, along with two hot fixes to tidy up some gameplay and performance issues (1.2.1 and 1.2.2).

I know it's been a long time since I last posted an update to the game and I want to apologize for that, these last few months have been demanding both with my work and my private life and because of that, the game's development has suffered some delays.
With that said, I want to announce some new changes that can be tested in the public beta channel:
Story Intro The game now has a proper story intro that shows some tutorials regarding movement and fighting and the battle between Arthur and Amolon Morrowstar.
Changes to the fight screen The fight screen has been revamped and now has new icons for HP and MP and the old buttons with text for the various actions(Fight, Spells, Item, Switch) have been replaced with icon buttons to make it more compact.
Changes to crops After some feedback regarding the crop respawn timers some changes were made to reduce the times to an average of 30 minutes instead of being a daily occurrence.
Interior Lighting The interior map has been changed to add lighting sources(Ceiling lights, moonlight through windows, etc.) during nighttime.
New Title screen The title screen now has a new background that demonstrates the influence of the Drakians on Nemithia and new social icons have been added that lead to my discord server, youtube channel, and Twitch channel.
Quests Quests are now being implemented and can be seen by pressing O to toggle open the Quest Panel. For now, only some main quests will appear and side quests are planned to be implemented at a later update. Quest tracking icons have also been added to the minimap and will always show to help point to where the player needs to go.
New character sprites I'm currently in the process of remaking the overworld and fight sprites for all characters as will be apparent throughout this beta's gameplay, these are not final and some bugs may occur with rendering.
This has been everything that's been done so far in terms of game development and from now on I'll do my best to do these more regularly as well as try to stream more often and publish some devlogs on Youtube.
Thank you for your feedback. The main contents of this update are as follows:
1. The invincibility frames for dodging have been increased by 25 frames. 2. The battlefield will no longer randomly refresh the next wave after having 0-1 remaining enemies. Instead, the next wave of enemies will only spawn after all current enemies have been defeated. 3. The settings interface has added options for camera sensitivity and vertical/horizontal inversion, with separate settings for keyboard/mouse and controller. 4. When the energy gain efficiency exceeds 100%, it will no longer result in negative energy gain. Instead, the energy gain will be capped and not replenish further. 5. The background music will no longer stop when loading a level. 6. The HUD health bar interface has been adjusted, so it no longer appears to be missing a segment when at full health. 7. When changing appearances in the main city and selecting a different Valkyrie, the high-speed energy regeneration state will be restored. 8. Fixed the damage bonus effect of Storm Phantom and Storm Arrow on Phantom enemies. Also made adjustments to the Phantom's ability to face monsters.
