Notice of Update

Hi everyone.
This is the Teravit Operation Team.

An update file for Teravit was released on August 3rd, 2023, at 15:00 (JST).
The following changes have been made in this update.

The game version will be "001.28" after the update.

New Additions & Changes
・When there is a new gift on the home screen, the notification icon and the gift icon will be displayed alternately.

・When a character dies their movement is now different.
-Players will now respawn directly at the last visited respawn point without transitioning to the death screen.
-When restarting the game from the menu, you can now select between returning to the respawn point or going back to the starting point.

Bugs Fixed
・Fixed an issue that caused frequent disconnections when starting some worlds on a cloud server.

The game is still in development and getting better
The essence of the game remains focused on puzzle-solving and logic elements, however, the graphics and overall gameplay experience have also received significant attention.
Recently, I decided to enhance certain aspects of the graphics and gameplay to make them more suitable, along with improving the quality of the puzzle system.



The game's main menu interface has been refined, with animated elements replacing the static images previously used




The settings options have become more intuitive, organized into themed groups, instead of displaying all at once as before




The in-game graphics have also seen significant improvements and optimizations, allowing for more interactions with various items and providing a greater sense of freedom




Keypad interactions can now be done directly, enhancing the game's realism instead of using pop-up menus. The other types of lock codes have also undergone similar improvements

We just completed the highly anticipated Shadow Knight talent tree! Would you have guessed that Shadow Knight is the most popular class in Nevergrind Online? Despite not being a "meta" class, they are quite popular for many other reasons. We took their popularity into consideration when designing the Shadow Knight—we want players to be thrilled with all of the interesting build possibilities!

Shadow Knights have three talent trees: the doom knight, the blood knight, and the zealot.

The doom knight specializes in arcane spell mastery and have a mastery called "Reaper", which is like a death reaper that wields crescent cleaves and dark spiritual magic to destroy his foes. Behold the Doom Knight talents below:



The blood knight specializes in blood magic. He sustains himself by using powerful absorb magic that drains health from his adversaries. Behold the Blood Knight talents below:



The zealot specializes in a form of combat mastery that utilizes spiritual warfare, plagues, and steel to lay waste to his enemies. This unique blend of mastery keeps his enemies on their heels with few options to slow him down. Behold the Zealot talents below:



Up next will be the Druid talent tree! Expect several interesting builds for healers, molten boulder enthusiasts, and tornado enjoyers alike! At this point, four of fourteen talent trees have been completed which means we are 29% toward completing all talent trees!

So what can you expect once talent trees are completed? The first crucial change is that many items will be updated with the possibility to have +talents to them. And they may appear in a variety of ways. You will see items that have bonuses to individual talents, all talents in a class tree, all class talents, or even ALL talents. Of course, items with +all talents would be quite coveted by all classes! I believe this will make the treasure hunt experience even more exciting!

After finishing the game, you can access challenge runs of individual levels from the main menu. You can enable individual challenge trackers or counters on the HUD to keep track of various things such as *No Damage*, *Number of Jumps*, *Distance Moved* and more...
You can also run the "Full game" to keep a consistent challenge and time from the very start of the game until the very end.
-Added option to see your % summary directly on the main menu after finishing the game
-Made all dialogue skippable
-Fixed being able to move during some cutscenes
-Minor tweaks to various levels to avoid softlocks

Bow and Arrow Update
Exodus of Descent Playtest - YooperGameStudios
The Bow & Arrow weapon type is now available!

- Added the Bow & Arrow weapon type to the default "Outlaw" class on spawn
- Added "arrows" as lootable items
- Fixed character movement glitch that would freeze player movement during hit animation / secondary attacks
- Fixed enemy AI glitch that would follow player during attack animations

NOTE: These changes are applied to the Gamescom demo currently live for playtesting. If playtesting, please report found bugs in the official discord forums.
