Paper Can't Fly - Freddols
Hello Players!

After a while in development and pre-release on Steam, we've finally decided to release a demo for Paper Can't Fly! This demo will also be available during the October edition of Steam Next Fest.

Below you can find a list of features included within the demo.

Paper Can't Fly Demo:

  • Includes 4 official levels ranging from easy to hard difficulty: "The Forest", "The Cave", "Mountain Peak" & "The Shaft".
  • Includes level editor preview where players can build levels and fly through them. The editor is limited to only one level at a time. Levels created in the editor cannot be shared with other players.
  • Includes personal best ghosts for an added challenge.
  • Is currently available in the following languages: English, Simplified Chinese, Japanese, Korean & Russian. Please be aware that some of the languages and translations may be inaccurate.

Timemelters - Autoexec Games
Hey everyone! This is just going to be a quick update/heads up. We've been talking about the new Friend's Pass since early July, and since its release will be on August 16th, it's fast approaching! We're really excited about it because we want the coop mode to be easily accessible to everyone.

On the same day though, we've got something else to help spice up your life: We are launching a new Speedrun Mode into TimeMelters! To go along with this new mode, we will also be running Season 1 of the Speedrun contest! This contest will be playable both solo and coop and there will be prizes for both!

More detailed rules will be posted on August 16th when the Speedrun update and Friend's Pass go live. You will be able to find them here, on our Facebook page, in the Discord, etc. So stay tuned and get ready for some competition 😉

Introduction
Magic forest which is theoretically the most difficult floor in the whole game. The forest where the eternal battle between magical creatures and barbarians takes place

Opponents
Unlike the previous floors, some of the opponents of the forest have a human form and therefore think a little harder and are able to use magical flowers to move, are able to mate when fighting the player, of course they also have emotions and some can give up!

For example, Druid Healer - stays out of combat and strengthens allies from afar. If there is no longer anyone to strengthen then she gives up and does not continue fighting.


Besides humans, the second largest population is the slime! Only they are not the usual slimy green slime, each represents a different element and behaves differently fire slime likes to explode itself, electric create several smaller slime, and stone hardens and tries to ram the player



The last group in the magic forest are the barbarians - they have simple but extremely powerful attacks. Their special ability is that each can strengthen all other opponents (increase health and damage inflicted)

I won't mention the final opponent of this floor, it will be a surprise!

Magical plants
Under the influence of magic, the land in the forest area began to give birth to very suspicious plants,
Which can be used during combat to your advantage.
Currently, 3 different plants can be found in the game:
  • Exploding tuber - when hit, it explodes.
  • Natural trampoline - bounces in a defined direction.
  • Soul bells - explodes, does not deal damage but causes temporary invisibility



Special Rooms
Jester time challenge
For passing the challenge, the player gets a random rare ability, you just need to enter the room before a few minutes (in the game it will be a specified number, and knowing me I will change it 4 more times)

Challenging a monk
After defeating the arena in a certain room, a portal to the monk's endurance challenge will open.
The challenge will require the player to quickly pass the duel and terrain obstacles.



What's next
As something, the project is doing well and is developed so actually every day. I'd like to share the progress with you so I'm going to start running more such Devlogs here on Steam. In the Devlogs I will show what I am currently working on, so everything you see here can only get better!

Astonishing Baseball Manager - Mortigern
Hey baseball fans!

I'm glad to announce our brand new update for Astonishing Baseball! It brings most of the upgrades from the AB23 engine, which means plenty of new features for all of you!

Here's an overview of the main changes, but you'll probably notice a few more.

Improvements and changes
  • A brand new UI all over the game :o
  • New portraits for your front office colleagues
  • Improved help sections
  • A third column has been added to the pitchers in the lineup screen
  • The draft pick and round of players is now displayed in their info dialog
  • More info are being displayed in the history screen and the league records
  • New search options
  • Your assistant might now give you small bonus tasks for TP
  • A new transactions page now summarize all your recent trades
  • You can now mass-recall your minor team players
  • Your minor team can now be customized even more than before

Cyber Knights: Flashpoint - Trese Brothers

Demo Update #8 is rolling out as a follow-up to a fun and successful Stealth Fest here on Steam. With so many players spinning through the demo and posting feedback (thanks for the F10s!) we're working through the list, sorting, fixing and prioritizing everything.

As usual, our first move is an update :D

F10 Submissions going bump
In some cases, the F10 reporter was saying that "submission failed". In these cases, we did get your F10s but we didn't get either the log file or the screenshot. We've made some adjustments that should drastically cut down on failure responses and have some steps we will take in the future to nuke them to 0%. Again, a big thanks to every player hitting F10!!

Stealth Fixies
We had some players report odd AI behavior in which a patrolling agent would casually pass by a body of one of their own if it had been seen by someone else. This was a nice little hole in the AI reaction logic that has now been fixed! We also fixed a number of other decision points and barks the


Lootbox and Talent Improvements
We've adjusted the size of the lootbox UI to make it easier to read, especially for more verbose items that were getting cut off. And in prep for opening up the training the class trees for a future demo update, we've added the highlighting to the Talent text which can show clearly which aspects - like Range, duration, and specific effect fields like buffing Evasion, etc - have been modified by your training choices.


Mission Polish
The demo jobs now have more representative shapes in the mission planning tree, which is a minor touch but is a great feeling to see it coming togther. We fixed camera movement and cuts in the sequence of looking at the Command HQ, planning a Job and then picking your team to deploy. This is now much smoother without any jarring transitions. Finally, thanks to your feedback we fixed some transparency issues in the screen that could make it hard to read under certain screen sizes and mission setups.

If you haven't tried the demo yet, it offers:
  • Your first big heist to pull off! Find out how our turn-based squad tactics plays. See if you have the skills to use creative stealth, a variety of weapons, and the turn order itself to accomplish objectives in each map and get your crew out alive.

  • Six squad members in your roster; each brings a unique set of talents to your crew. In the full game you'll have opportunities to recruit new members, as well as access to multi-classing, extensive skill trees, weapon modding, cybernetics -- everything you need to build out the perfect squads for your playstyle and the needs of the jobs you're taking on.
  • A glimpse of your main character's origins as a Cyber Knight. These elites of our dark future's underworld are rare and highly sought after. Knights have capabilities no one else in this world does -- but it comes at a cost.
  • A first look at your safehouse; in the full game you'll have access to base-building features to expand this underground hideout, providing more opportunities to upgrade your team and expand your capabilities to take on bigger jobs as you make a name for yourself.
  • A preview of the choices you'll need to make in this shadowy world of mercenaries, secrets, and cyberpunks. How far will you go for a chance at a better life? What are you willing to risk for the extra credits or knowledge that could make a big difference for your crew? Who will you stay loyal to? Who can you trust?
