Baldur's Gate 3 - SaloAtLarian
Hey everyone!

We are ONE DAY away from the release of Baldur’s Gate 3, so we hope your hearts are ready for adventure and your eyeballs are primed for tadpoling.

Many of you have been playing Baldur’s Gate 3 since the start of Early Access, all the way back in 2020. You may have accumulated a backlog of old save games, or even a few mods along the way. Even if you’re a first-time player, there’s information here that will be useful to you.

To make sure you’re prepared for the journey ahead, we strongly recommend you take the following steps before venturing forth.

1. Delete your in-game Early Access Saves
We’ve taken measures to ensure a smooth transition into the launch version of BG3, but we still recommend deleting your in-game Early Access save files if you still have access to an Early Access version of the game.

Your Early Access saves and player profiles aren’t compatible with the release version of Baldur’s Gate 3, and leaving them in your save folders may in some fringe cases cause issues. Note: simply deleting the game’s save folder may create conflicts when either Steam Cloud or Larian Cloud re-downloads the save files.
  1. Open Baldur’s Gate 3.
  2. On the main menu, click Load Game.
  3. Click through old campaigns and select Delete Campaign.
This method will ensure your saves are deleted from your computer as well as from the cloud.

We know it can be hard to say goodbye: if you want to back up your saves before removing them from the cloud, you can move them from %LocalAppData%\Larian Studios to another location for safekeeping, before removing them.

2. Uninstall the Early Access version
Having the Early Access version of Baldur’s Gate 3 installed will not speed up your download of the full game, and could affect your installation of the full game. Due to the game being in Early Access, we’re unable to offer pre-loads, as this would break existing Early Access saves. To uninstall:
  1. In the Steam client, open your Steam Library.
  2. Right click Baldur’s Gate 3.
  3. From the menu that appears, select Manage -> Uninstall.

3. Delete your Mods
Existing mods will not be compatible with the release version of Baldur’s Gate 3, and will cause issues or break the game in unpredictable ways.

After uninstalling the game, check your Baldur’s Gate 3 installation folder and your AppData folder for Baldur’s Gate 3 to ensure there are no remaining folders for mods.

If you use a mod installer like the Vortex Mod Manager from Nexus, make sure you also uninstall the mods in the mod manager to ensure they aren’t automatically re-downloaded.

For mod-related troubleshooting, check out our Mod Information support page.

4. Install BG3 on an SSD
A solid-state drive (SSD) is highly recommended to play Baldur’s Gate 3, and we recommend you install the game on yours. It’s good practice to make sure you have more space on the drive than is needed.

5. Update your graphics card drivers
Updating to the latest graphics card drivers will help with compatibility and performance of the game.

6. Refer to the launch FAQ
If you have any problems launching BG3 when we switch to the final version of the game on August 3rd, we’ll have an FAQ accessible from the launcher that will detail some of what we believe may be the most likely problems, with solutions.

Outside of the above, our support teams will be happy to assist you with any problems, but we sincerely hope you have fun with the final version of Baldur’s Gate 3!

Castaway Coalition - mehowlipa
As may already be known, Castaway Coalition is set to become a heavily simulated survival game. The primary objective in the development of this project is to create highly immersive Non-Player Characters (NPCs). Players will find themselves tasked with surviving on an island alongside these NPCs, engaging in various activities including cooperation, town-building, socializing, and gathering resources.

In pursuit of enhancing the realism and immersiveness of NPCs, and to ensure that they interact within the game on an equal footing with human players, a Vision Module (an environmental observation module) has been developed. This will enable characters to actively look for and search objects as they wander the island, thereby enriching the overall playing experience.

What Castaway Coalition Strives to Avoid:
⛔ Fake vision where every NPC already knows where the searched object is

What Castaway Coalition Aims to Implement:
🟢 Organic search capabilities and vision skills for each NPC

Characters module - Vision

Features:
  • Characters possess vision akin to that of a human being
  • Characters (NPCs) must actively search for essential elements such as food, water, and other characters
  • Three distinct vision distances are assigned to each character: short, medium, and large
  • The game will modify vision distances according to specific circumstances (e.g., during night or rain)
  • The game can enable or disable the vision module for characters (e.g., disabling vision when a character is asleep)

Three distances:
  • Short: Suitable for locating small objects within a short range, such as mushrooms, tools, berries, etc.
  • Medium: Appropriate for spotting larger objects like trees or other characters
  • Large: Designed for identifying expansive objects, such as a body of water or ocean surface

those vision lines won't be visible for the player (development purposes only)
Vision distance will be changing base on external things (time of day, weather, character personal skills and traits)

for example at night will be much shorter:

those vision lines won't be visible for the player (development purposes only)

Hello Delivery Managers!
Thank you all so much for playing Delivery INC in ways we couldn’t even imagine. Our main focus has been put toward improving the stability of the game to get rid of lag issues. This new patch is going to make a smoother experience for many.

DELIVERY INC - Patch Notes 1.0.4
  • Made major improvements to deal spawning logic to prevent lag.
  • Made major improvements to cops roaming logic to prevent lag.
  • Made changes to prevent lag during gameplay after loading a save file with several days played.
  • We’ve made more improvements to situation spawning in free-play mode.
  • Free-play mode “situation frequency” slider now has more options to tune the game to your liking.
  • Added an additional option in free-play mode to generate maps with or without unpaved roads. Generating maps with only paved roads will give a more realistic delivery experience.
  • Fixed an issue with the camera not working properly during map expansion tile selection.
If you experience any issues during gameplay, please report a bug from the pause menu.

Our next focus is to help those of you that have issues loading/downloading maps. We are also reworking the frequency of employees with prior work experience offering special deliveries at the start of each day. The next patch is in the works. Stay tuned!

Thank you!

USC: Counterforce - Lau_Rad
Hey Marines!

USC: Counterforce has been out for a week, and we appreciate all of the positive feedback from both players and the press! We would also like to thank everyone for the detailed feedback we've received while we work on expanding the game.

Roadmap
With the missions following one another and the bodies of aliens and marines piling up since launch, it's time to share the objectives for the next few months! We keep developing new features for you to try out. Find out all we have planned for the first phase of Early Access in this much anticipated roadmap!

The roadmap promises a number of major features, including a new game mode and new environments. With each update, you will also notice overall improvements, including the introduction of smaller features, Quality of Life changes and bug fixes.

We encourage and value community feedback, feel free to share your honest thoughts on the game. Because we are currently in Early Access and unforeseen events may affect the game's development, the features on the roadmap may be subject to change.

The new game mode and spaceship environment are now at the top of the list, as they are scheduled for this Summer. Following that, numerous major additions, including new environments, enemies, and weapons, as well as a new Operations mission, are planned for the Fall. We want to work with our community to develop and improve the game, so we welcome community suggestions!

Thank you for joining us on this journey once more. We can't wait to show you all the other things we have planned for you.

Bug reports & feedback
As a reminder, please share any bug reports and your feedback, ideas and suggestions in the Steam Discussions or via our Discord.

Fort Solis is locked down. You have to get out of here!

Time to uncover the dark side of the red planet.

Message from the developers
Hello everyone! Fort Solis will be available in three weeks. We can't wait to make every moment of this game shine as brightly as possible. The entire trailer you are about to see is 100% gameplay from the game build.

We are a new indie studio with a small development team, so we have always worked within our means and focused on quality every step of the way. As new storytellers, we are always cautious not to overcomplicate or over-extend the experience at the risk of losing immersion.

We love how immersive the experience ends up being, the moment-to-moment gameplay is straightforward enough that pretty much anyone can pick it up and easily binge their way through to the end. It is so easy to become invested in solving the mystery of Fort Solis, even if you already know exactly what’s going on!

So yes. Time to put on your detective hat, pay attention to detail, and survive both the Martian weather and encounters with its inhabitants!
