Transparent Texture Support
We are thrilled to introduce the ability to use transparent textures! By enabling this feature in the "settings," you can immediately take advantage of it. Now you can wear semi-transparent clothes, adding a touch of elegance and style that was previously unachievable. Upgrade now and elevate your fashion with our latest release!
Virtual Webcam with Transparency Support
With the introduction of transparent texture support, we have updated the virtual webcam to enable transparent video output. To use this feature, please go to the "settings" screen and click on "start" again.
For improved output quality, we recommend using a black background instead of blue or green backdrops for the background image. In OBS, please set as follows:
Net Collaboration + Voice Chat
We are thrilled to finally release our network feature, now equipped with voice chat for added convenience! With the transparent virtual webcam, you can avoid accidental visibility issues caused by green or blue backgrounds obscuring your partner's appearance.
Furthermore, thanks to lip-syncing with your partner's voice, collaborations become even more enjoyable and realistic in real-time.
Upgrade now and experience the enhanced network functionality with voice chat, making collaborations more seamless and fun!
Known Issue
Depending on NVIDIA settings, the frame rate may not be controlled, resulting in improper functioning of the application. To resolve this, please configure NVIDIA VSync to wait or try the following settings in the "settings" menu:
The above is an example with FPS fixed at 60 frames.
My new game No Creeps Were Harmed TD is FINALLY coming to Early Access on August 18th! Check out the new trailer and let me know what you think! I hope to see you all “not harming” some creeps on the 18th!
We've spent the last couple of months working on some core game loop mechanics and integrating them into the new UI.
Collectibles Catalog
Playing the game earns XP/points for each mini game completed
The more humans that play the faster the XP is earned
Great for collectors and completion-ists!
Currently we have 118 parts and characters to unlock but we will have closer to 200 when finished
Players can visit the "Collectables Catalog" from the main menu to:
View what they've unlocked or still need
Purchase new "blind boxes" full of characters or toy parts to use in the "toy builder"
They may receive duplicates over time and they can resell it back to eventually fund another purchase
Characters you unlock are immediately playable. Parts you unlock are used to expand your options in the "Toy Builder".
Other Updates
Recorded character audio packs so animals, humans, monsters, etc all have different sound effects and emotes. You may also select one of these packs when creating your own toys.
2v2 and 3v1 mechanics into the game and will be building out additional mini games with this in August
Constantly adding new finalized artwork and models!
AI difficulty settings!
Fixing bugs lol
Sign up for our next playtest!
Last but certainly not least, we will have another playtesting opportunity later this month (August). Sign up for our email newsletter to learn more about the opportunity when we announce it in a few weeks.
We are glad to inform you that the work on the demo is in full swing.
At this moment our best artist is finishing animated images creation. According to our data, there are still 5 animated characters left with several animations each. Our animator is spending a lot of time scrupulously drawing each frame, pixel by pixel.
We are also glad to inform you, prosecutor, that the dialogues and story for the first 3 cases (that will be included in the free demo) were successfully written and translated. The Music, UI and sounds were created and implemented. Game mechanics were tested and polished.
Expect a demo to arrive in the upcoming months. And be careful, prosecutor: the choices you will make in the demo will affect the main game.
Bottoms Up! : Part 1 now has it`s first update - let`s call it v 1.5! :)
The update added 6 new illustrations to some of the scenes and fixed a few very silly bugs, which somehow went unnoticed until readers pointed them out! Thank you!
The new illustrations serve the purpose of flashbacks/story expositions and the plan was to include them from the start, but with drawing taking long, Me (the author) and the artist weren`t sure we will have the time! I really hope you like them! Furthermore, we would like to update the visual novel to v 2.0 soon to better present the more "mysterious" parts of the story.
It was really important for us to show you more of the main characters` lives and the fantasy world they live in!
