World of Tanks - The Dot


Welcome to the old-school Steel Hunter—a special game event with time-tested mechanics!

This event, which will run twice—from July 31 through August 7 and from August 21 through August 28—returns us to the good old Steel Hunter that both new and veteran players will enjoy. No more gameplay experiments—just adrenaline-fueled clashes in the classic battle royale format and useful in-game rewards! Read up on all the details!

Event Summary
  • You are one of 20 players fighting for victory. It’s every Hunter for themselves!
  • Choose to fight solo or join one of 10 two-player Platoons.
  • The total battle time is 15 minutes. Before each battle, you can choose from several spawn points on the map. Survive at all costs and destroy all enemies to become the last victorious Hunter standing!
  • Collect special objects (loot) that randomly spawn on the map. These objects contain resources, Combat XP, and Combat Ability charges. You can also pick up loot from destroyed vehicles (Spoils of War).
  • The most valuable loot type is the Airdrop. Many players will want to get their hands on Airdrops, so you'll have to push yourself to the limit to get to them first!
  • Eight special vehicles with unique abilities will join the hunt. All vehicles will be available for free.
  • You'll be able to upgrade your vehicles while in battle and get stronger with each new tier.
  • Battles will unfold on three huge maps, the playable areas of which will shrink with time. Escape the Destruction Zones that will gradually cause damage until your vehicle is destroyed.
  • Steel Hunter has its own in-game currency: Steel Seals. You can exchange Steel Seals for unique customization items available in the mode’s Store.
  • The event’s Progression is based on a system of easy daily missions. Complete them to move through Progression Stages and earn in-game rewards.
  • The Progression will be reset between the mode launches, so you can receive double the rewards!

When you complete the main progression, you will unlock an additional progression with its own missions and rewards.





Complete these missions to move through Stages and earn useful in-game rewards below:


You will also earn Battle Pass Points based on your position in the post-battle ranking.

Apprentice Arriving - Emerald
Hi gamers,

With big steps we are coming closer to the first small update where you can test out the new combat by fighting against 3 polished enemy types with 1 being new. The last couple of weeks we have also worked on completing the new Game Menu and a heavily improved Head Up Display design with awesome mechanics which we will show you in this DevLog.

Enemy combat refined and - Some enemies can Block
One of our main goals is to make the battles super epic. We want to make sure you are well equipped but so are your foes. There will be many crazy surprises you can be sure about that. Enemies will react to what you are doing and for instance can now block.



Redesigned HUD (Head Up Display)
A fully redesigned HUD has been created. You will have better control over your skills with gamepad and overall management with HP, MP, Potions will be much easier. You can now see directly how much HP and MP you have displayed as a number.



Combo System finally about to be completed!
The last couple of weeks we have been working tirelessly on the combo system. It's very important to us that this works in the next update. You will be able to perform multiple combo sets. The attacks and animations are different for every weapon type such as Short Sword, Longsword, Greatsword etc but the buttons input stays the same to keep things more simple.

In-Game Menu almost completed
The Menu is a ton of work and it takes time especially with a small team. Here is a little sneak-peek of the Skills Page where you can quickly and easily switch out your skills.



Sword and Scabbard done Knights Armor comes next
We are happy that the knights outfit is about to be done. We are already working on nice sound effects like clattering chainmail noises and footstep sounds. Here we can show you how the sword and scabbard now looks. Some little refining need to be done on the texture. We are arleady excited to show you the end result.



As we are coming to the end of this DevLog we are very happy to see that the progress is much better than we thought. Most of planning still happens in the background but the programming has now been accellerated. So far we can say the development progress is steadily ongoing and it should not take much more time until we have a playable version.

So Nina from Futanun suffered some identity theft from Nim. (When I imported Futanun into Elseworld there were two overlapping defined names...) Nim had stolen Nina's name...Punk... We have restored Nina's name and Nim has been punished. But I think she liked it...

This update may seem big for just a name fix and that is because it has the start of Version 6 in there.

I have finished redoing the base topology of the city buildings, except for the Dracari Temple and the new structures that will dot the areas around the canal and host little gardens to add more greenery to the bland parts of the town, the Lighthouse interior was completely redone, and now it has proper red stripes as all lighthouses should.
After finishing the topology I will still have to redo all UV mapping and remake the collision models.

Meanwhile my brother has been working on the cluster spawner for our new forage & critter spawn system, we aim to create a more realistic looking distribution of fauna & flora.
In this image you can see more of less how the cluster distribution will work, the white areas are where things can spawn, the script is very configurable and the size and spread of the clusters can be changed easily, so we can have different patterns for each type of forage.

Hey there!

I hope you are doing well! This is a little but really cool update fo the Kritter Demo.

What's coming next?
Before telling you more about the update, I'm really glad to say that after spending weeks to adjust and polish the demo, we are now on track to develop amazing new things, such as the second biome, new enemies AND skill modifications. Oh boy that's gonna be so fun.

We recently gained visibilty and all those recent wishlist gave us so much energy. Thank you so much to all of you for supporting our work ❤️

As some of you may now, we are a team of two and none of us is an 2D artist. We worked with an amazing artist for our Steam Capsule and would love to work more with him to design more enemies and cool concepts for the game. In order to do so, we will start a Kickstarter campaign in a few weeks so we can fund it as well as some of the great features to come.

What's up in this update?

We had a lot of feedback about the fact that the english version was far from good due to two problems. The english narration was unnecessarly vulgar and the subtitles were not well synced. About that, I'd like to thank the many players for pointing out those issues.
So we changed some lines of the narration and reworked the subtitle system and now, it's all way better.

We also had a new load of players trying the multiplayer and a blocking bug emerged about opening a reward chest while a team mate was doing something in another UI, like another reward screen or the shop screen. This was our top priority to fix and we had multiple way of doing it. We chose to edit the reward chests behaviour to enforce the cooperation. Now you won't have the reward screen opening from a chest opened by a team mate. If you want the reward, you have to open the chest yourself. Everyone still gets a reward, but everyone has to move to the chest and open it to get it.

  • English narration adjusted to avoid unnecessary vulgarities
  • English subtitles now correctly synced
  • Camp treasures now give a reward only to the player opening it. Chests have a reward for everyone.
  • New Kritter logo on Start Screen (Tell us if you like it!)
  • Added a sound on hovering start screen button -> That's a test, do you like it?
  • Ambiant musics start at random timing so you won't always here the same thing
  • Marks Shield now start at 50 health points (previously 25)
  • Fix a bug were the tips from the loading screen could change while reading it
  • Fix a bug were a Utility Skill charge could be lost when leveling up the skill
